Honoring with deepest love, respect, and grave fear for their survival, on this World Elephant Day. <3

100 Elephants per day on average are killed worldwide for their Ivory. :'( Asian Elephants are critically endangered and African Eles are not far behind. China just announced they'd stop illegal Ivory trade by next year, the US has already banned it. Wildlife SOS is the organization I mostly follow with their rescues of captive Circus and Temple Eles in India, most all have been abused and in chains for DECADES! :'( For their collective souls the words of John Lennon came to mind. "Jai Guru Deva om". <3

G'day From Ventura Peeps!

Carole, those are amazing colors on the Rose of Sharon blossoms!

Cheryl, we didnt watch the P.Diana special. Karen prefers True Crime programs!

Kris, hoping Ed finds some relief, poor guy.
I have mixed feelings about culling elephants. There are too many for the habitate they now are allowed (yes, allowed) so is it better to cull or let them die naturally (starvation). As for killing for tusks, awful.

Jill, that was the wrong link to the puzzle you posted....

Today we are driving down to LA to see my surrogate father. Its a long drive, 3 hours round trip, but it will be great to see him.

Yesterday at the Ventura Fair was terrific! We ran into Linda and Michele! It was so fun to see them.

Here is Leah Elizabeth!
