Hello, everyone! The sun is out but there is a touch of coolness in the air. Fall will be here before we know it. |

Cheryl - It's beautiful here, lots of but it's cool, the weather I love.I have to get to Toys R Us soon, baby gift for Doreen's GG and Aaron will be 1 next month. I think I'll get Aaron a big truck, he likes his little ones and says "vroooom" when he plays with them. Susan is making him a party as her house is bigger and it's easier on Sarah and Brad.

Hello Everyone. It's hard to say "Happy Sunday" with the disaster of Hurricane Harvey causing so much destruction and loss to people and wildlife. One report I heard said the storm surge waters had, among other debris, Fire Ants and poisonous Snakes! Carole, Maya is so beautiful in her after grooming portrait. Congrats to Doreen and Steve on their new GGD. And congrats to the whole family as well. Cheryl, those pics of the young Whoopers grazing on berries were wonderful! A sight I've never seen. I never thought much about what they ate. I thought like Herons they'd eat aquatic things. So sweet to see them picking Berries. I talked with Lori yesterday and she said they were suffering 98 degree temps in Santa Monica, where they live a half a block from the ocean. That's one thing about SoCal I don't look forward to experiencing again. Heat Waves like that usually doesn't last long but the older I get the less I can tolerate high temps. Tomorrow is predicted to be a record breaking high for August in Southern England, where we are. More Northern places are having rain and much cooler temps. It all goes downhill next week and the slippery slope into miserable cold months with 6 hour days begins.

Kris - Thank you for your sweet comments about my dear Maya and also for your congrats to Doreen and Steve. I understand how you feel about the very hot temperatures, I don't deal with them very well. Enjoy the warmer weather now as you will soon be dealing with fall, colder weather and dreary UK days into the winter. I hope that Ed is feeling better and that his health condition improves so that the both of you can go back to California soon.
