Hello, everybody. It's chilly here! We turned on the furnace for a bit. I was outside, though, doing some trimming and deadheading.

The book I am presently reading is called, "The Baker's Secret" by Stephen P. Kiernan. The chapters I've been reading today are about the D-Day invasion from the point of view of the inhabitants of an occupied French village. I didn't plan it this way but today is the anniversary of D-Day, June the 6th.

Hello everyone :}^

Had the carpets shampooed in the whole house today and it is a mess. We moved all the light furniture into Alan's office so he can't get in there now rofl

The rest of the stuff is in the laundry room, another mess. The carpets should be dry late tonight but I will wait until tomorrow to put everything back in its place.

Will BBQ steaks tonight for dinner and heat up some frozen shoestring fries and serve coleslaw instead of making a salad, easy and yummy. :Yum:

The condo BBQ last night was nice but it was freezing, said hello to the neighbours, ate, and came home early.

It's very cool here today and cloudy, can't wait to see the sun :*:

I'm on my laptop which is in the kitchen now, no chair in my computer room where the desktop is.

See you all tomorrow.

Hi Carole. Good plan to wait until tomorrow to put the furniture back. I think if the carpet is still damp that tin foil under the legs will protect them so they don't get stained with the dampness. Good plan to come home early from the BBQ. What a strange month of June we are having.

G'day peeps, my Thursday. Another rainy day but on and off. Its also quite cool outside.
I didnt sleep well because I stayed up too late watching the French Open, but then that was delayed due to rain for tonight. That was at 1am.

May was our driest ever in Oz, so yes, the rain is welcome.

Not much else to report, everyone have a nice day.

I love this artist, Olga Suvorova
