Cheryl - Perfect graphic with the rainy weather. Rain stopped here but it is dull and cool. We are heading out to visit Charlene tomorrow morning, in London, Ontario. The weather is supposed to soar to 95 F. and Charlene's house doesn't have AC. She does have a portable unit for our bedroom and I am bringing a large fan if needed. I started to pack and Maya's stuff is the main thing . Will try to keep in touch over the next few days. |

Carole, have a safe trip and a good visit with Charlene. We are definitely getting a heat wave according to the weather report on the news tonight. You'll need that fan! The eaglet looks like all the birds at our feeder today, drenched. We have a lot of small, brown squirrels in our yard. They are a bit bigger than a chipmunk. They've eaten all of the peony buds on the shrub and the hybiscus buds from the pot on the deck. There's not anything I can do to stop them.

G'day Peeps, end of my Thursday. It started beautiful but a huge storm came through in the afternoon while I was in the City. Fortunately Bob picked me up at the train station so I didnt get my feet wet! You have squirrels and I have possums, Cheryl. I had a half pot on the fence with a succulent the possum ate down to a nub so I put a native orchid in it. This morning I found it ripped out of the pot on the the ground! Carole, Enjoy your trip! LoL packing for Maya! Looking forward to tomorrow, we have a music event on at the Opera House. HooRoo (as they say here)
