Ozzie - Thanks so much for your birthday wishes Susan, Ruby and Louisa joined us for dinner last night and Alan picked up freshly cooked lobsters which were delicious. Susan brought a variety of special gelatos, and Louisa brought the "new rage" in Toronto, Uncle Tetsu's Japanese cheesecake which is more like a light souffle, everything was great. Website for cheesecake... http://uncletetsu-ca.com/ Susan also surprised me with her generous gift of tickets to "Come From Away" something I've wanted to see for the past year. https://www.mirvish.com/shows/come-from-away?gclid=CjwKCAjw7IbaBRBqEiwA6AyZgmsyPx-thqqEDAgO3EIScE8kMtAdph1KrsyOniAAYBToI4wClelpXhoC4WUQAvD_BwE Later on today we are going to visit a good friend who was just diagnosed with lung cancer and awaiting treatment this week. It is so heartbreaking If he feels up to it, his wife wants us to stay for dinner, probably Chinese food. This is the couple we went to Florida with every year. They have gone through hell this past year with Lynn losing her eldest son to an OD , and now this illness with David. Maybe Alan and I will be a diversion and try to cheer them up.

G'day Peeps, Moanday. Cool, breezy but no rain. Not that we need it! Sounds like a wonderful Bday party Carole! I went to one yesterday too, at the Aqua Restaurant, Milsons Pt over looking Sydney Harbor. It was a lot of fun and Debbie just looks great. Her two adult children put together the party for her friends. I saw some people I hadnt seen for a while too. ![]() I am so sorry to hear about your travel friend's illness. I hope they can cure it too, without too much repercussion. So happy some of the Thai children got out of that cave. Now for the rest! |
