![]() Arctic National Wildlife Refuge “The Arctic Refuge coastal plain is the ecological heart and wildlife oasis of the entire refuge. It is, in the words of the naturalist Peter Matthiessen, ‘the earth’s last sanctuary of the great Ice Age fauna that includes . . . bears, gray wolves and wolverines, musk ox, moose, and, in the summer, the Porcupine River herd of caribou, 120,000 strong.’ Drilling the Arctic Refuge would not solve America’s energy crisis. To the contrary, drilling there would only continue, not reduce, our dependence on fossil fuels.” –Tom Udall, U.S. Congressman, New Mexico, “A Family Legacy,” |

Hello, everybody! Thanks for the pretty JL card, Topa. Called my mother, wish she lived closer. She is doing really well with her knee replacement. The physio person told her that she wished all her patients were as determined as her to get the knee flexing well. She can get it to 114 degrees now. She and her friend are having dinner together since both of them have all their children out of town. The city that I grew up in doesn't have much to offer in the way of jobs. |

Deb, just a reminder that the finale is on tonight for the "Amazing Race". Only an hour, wish it was longer. |

Topa, what size is your IWS sweatshirt? I don't want a huge, baggy one. Would the medium be for a medium man's size and a small be like a woman's medium size? I have a medium Tshirt and it is a medium but it is not fitted, kinda baggy. Just wondering. |

Cheryl - What good news about your Mother's determination to get her knee back to normal, she sounds like a real trooper. I spoke to my Mom this morning and she is looking forward to going out for dinner tonight with my sister and BIL. Wish I could be there too but it just didn't work out. |

Cheryl, I ordered the sweatshirt for DH so I got a large for him. You might want a small if you want it fitted. I just tried it on. So to answer your question. A small would be a womens medium . ![]() It's a very nice quality, I think you'll be wearing it forever! Thanks great your mother is so determined. That's what it takes to recover !

I just finish my Hebrew lesson. Did you know that in Jerusalem there is a Kennedy Memorial? Yes, and this is a photo of it. Next visit I'll have to check it out.
