Yes, Barb, you are definitely an eagleholic. Welcome to the club! You will love your pendant. It is so pretty, especially with the blue and orange wing bling crystals. |

Barb/Bubala - It's so nice to have another Canadian on board. I've never been to Edmonton but my husband has many times for business.

![]() For those who have not yet seen the banding of juvenile bald eagles - if you click on the above photo - you can watch the IWS clip from the TH nest in 2007! Tomorrow - Dr. Sharpe and the IWS crew are planning on visiting the TH pair to do a physical exam, give them some wing bling as well as a radio transmitter for later tracking of their movements once they have fledged from the nest (in about a month )Enjoy and set your clocks for tomorrow so you don't miss out! WOO HOO

I know you guys will feel sorry for me because I might miss the banding. I'll be handling eagles tomorrow at the Eagle center. I'm going to try and have the nests up and running there on the computer. Depends on how busy the center is. I wasn't there last weekend because of my dad. Haven't posted for awhile because my dad had 5 bypasses done to his heart on mother's day. He's in congestive heart failure and only has 20% of his heart left. It's been a stressful 2 weeks but I have been watching the nests faithfully. |

Ditto! I sent your link to a LAPD Det retiring this year, whose Husband is a firefighter, they live in Simi. They both have a couple of dogs and love animals.... Great presentation this morning! Today is American Impressionist Artist mary cassatt's Birthday. I saw a couple of her paintings, one in Boston and the other in LA Getty... http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&q=mary+cassatt&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=PdAVSrb-F6OdlQfM4OTiCw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=4&ct=title |

![]() "Marketers selling office space in the future office megatower that will rise out of the hole at ground zero, where the Twin Towers used to stand, have ditched the name "Freedom Tower." Instead they've been marketing the 1,776-foot building using its address, One World Trade Center. "It's the one that is easiest for people to identify with," Port Authority chairman Anthony Coscia said. "And frankly, we've gotten a very interested and warm reception to it.""
