Vicki, I'm not sure what their numbers are. I hope we will find out in the update tomorrow. I have seen people posting that they think one of them is K-91. |

Whooper Update: 11 chicks are expected to hatch this week (on top of the dozen that have already hatched). Busy, busy, busy but that's great news!

K 87 and K 91 but names haven't yet been assigned to a specific number as I understand it - waiting for update? don't know why! |

Thanks Deb! I wonder why one is K87 & one K91? Arn't they ususally in sequence? After a holiday weekend, I'm not the sharpest pencil in the cup!

Yes, I wonder then, too, why the numbers are not in sequence. Hmmm. Thanks for the second number, Deb. I can't see them even on full screen. Carole, are you at the hospital with your laptop? |

Laurie, I am fairly certain that there is a little black-headed loon chick with a tiny beak poking around when mom lifts her right wing. It is not moving along with the mom's body but rather separately.

The chick even seems to be moving a stick around with its beak.

Mama loon dipping her head and beak towards her baby. Chick is very bold, head and body are almost all away from the brooding mother's body. ![]()
