Loved the great fish delivery to the kids! Adorable, they sure scamper when lunch is delivered, they're just precious.

Petra, thanks for the compliment! Re: Nancee Wells - I think possibly she came along as a photographer, a free set of hands that could take pictures while the others were busy with the banding. I noticed in the IWS update yesterday that her name was credited below most of the pictures. I'd like that job! Pick me! Bea, thank you to you, too, for the nice words for the NAC team. Jill, I commented in the other forum, but that woman eating in the photo just cracks me up. She'll never know (I hope).

Topa, are some of the day of the dead items in the store, is that in Big Sur, at Nepenthe? If not, they have an incedible collection of items in their gift shop.

Summer, the shop is in Ojai called Red Poppy. She has a wonderful collection of Mexican art. The couple who I'm buying the gift for are very fun and free spirited. |

Nancee Wells is the Membership Director for IWS and solicits and sends out all the membership cards (and beanies and pins and note-cards and hats and shirts and whatever else comes along with the specific level of membership) and handles the publication of the newsletter. She has been involved with the program for years and volunteers many hours to 'the cause'. Wouldn't we all LOVE to be able to 'tag along' on banding day but, man, you have to be in shape (and Nancee is) to do that hike/climb right to the nest(s) ... the orthopedist that did my hip replacements would justifiably have me committed for even thinking about it! |

Joanie, isn't that the truth. Nancee is something else to make that climb. Topa, I'll have to check that shop out, love that stuff. Good Night Peetie, have a wonderful restful night. |

Thank you, Joanie, for the information about Nancee. I knew that I recognized her name from somewhere. I liked the little sleeveless tank tops with the IWS logo that Nancee and Steph were wearing. It would be nice to have an eagle shirt like that for a hot day. Maybe they offer them at CafePress, will have to check it out. |

Topa - I too never heard of Day of the Dead. I really like that heart and I love that kind of unique gift store. I could do a number there. I spoke to Nancee Wells once last year when I was renewing my membership and buying the shopping bags and she is the sweetest person. Bea - Thanks for your kind words, it means a lot.

Cheryl, your graphics are cracking me up, loved the ones where the kids want to look like mom when they grow up. You're so creative, all of you NAC people are just the best. When we lost Limuw, I bought A63 wing bling which I've worn on my backpack for a long time. But, you guys have me motivated, I think I need to add Star to my collection, dancing K83! Thanks for all you for what you do for our eagles.
