Love Mexican Food ~ BUT cant get Monteray Jack DownUnder, and I havent found anything similar except 'Mild' Cheedar, just doesnt cut it. Love the WCrane videos this morn! And for those of you who like to look to the skies (for more than just birds!): ~ Perseid meteor shower hits its peak. The Perseid shower happens when the Earth passes through debris left from the Swift-Tuttle comet which last came this way in 1992. http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/posted/archive/2009/08/11/look-to-the-skies-tonight-annual-meteor-shower-peaks.aspx |

I read about the Perseid meteor shower this morning. I think it will be better viewed from Canada than SOCAL. The article I read said Northern America.. If I get up for a glass of water around 2 AM I'm going to look through my window. |

Golden Eagle Survives Head-On With Semi![]() Click image for video after ad (:49) This isn't the same story I posted last time about the eagle in the truck either ![]() Interstate 80, mile marker 180, was the scene of a head-on collision between a semi truck and a male golden eagle Tuesday morning (Aug 4, 2009). The driver of the semi was surprised, to say the least, when his driver’s side windshield caved in on his lap and the large eagle fell to the floor of his cab. All the commotion inside the cab caused the driver to swerve into an adjacent lane forcing another vehicle into the median. Thankfully no injuries occurred to any of the people involved. In spite of hitting the truck moving at a speed of 70 MPH the eagle was found by Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) standing in the back bunk area of the truck. DWR Officer Bruce Johnson transported the bird to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WRC) of Northern Utah where it underwent extensive evaluation by DaLyn Erickson (WRC Wildlife Specialist and Executive Director). DaLyn was amazed at the overall condition of the bird: minor lacerations to head and right wing, no broken bones and the only real concern was head and eye trauma. WRC immediately transported the eagle to the Parrish Creek Veterinary clinic in Centerville Utah where their staff conducted another thorough examination and took multiple head and skeletal x-rays. The prognosis is very optimistic! With antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications and basic supportive care WRC is expecting this eagle to make a full recovery. http://www.wrcnu.org/pages/full_story/push...home_news_right |

http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/tmt/instructions_1.shtml Try this and share with friends. You will be shown 12 photos in set 1 and another 12 in set 2. Then you'll be shown 48 photos and you must choose if you saw them earlier. It's a test to see if you're getting enough sleep or if your mind has lost it. It's fun. |

Want to share these photos with you. This is of Bobby the Bobcat playing with a peacock feather. We played in his enclosure for a long time. The mountain lions and a little gray fox also loved to play with it. Bobby is sooo cute.[ IMG]http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p373/regannelson/DSCN0010.jpg[/IMG] ![]() ![]() |
