I know this is an ambitious idea, but this could be a fun way to make some $$$$ for IWS if we win. I read the entry form and we could decorate the booth with beanies and eagles! I make a barbeque corn chili salsa topping that I got the recipe from a 5 star chef. I've gone to this event before and it's a lot of fun. ![]() http://www.ojaibigchili.com/ http://www.ojaibigchili.com/cooks.htm |

Good morning! Topa, good luck with your Chili Festival idea, it could be very successful. Wish I was nearby to help you out, sounds like fun. I remember Lala saying that she had lots of tomatoes ...... Carole, thanks for the pictures to get the day going. That polar bear is a character. Enjoy your day, everyone.

eaglepedia revisited June 18, 2007 Part III - Bald eagles will perch on the windward side of the island to allow the prevailing winds and waves to wash up dead or dying fish! A lot of their fish is taken right from the surface of the water. Reports have also been made of sightings of eagles taking waterfowl out of mid air but mostly they harass them, tiring them and when they land, snatching them up! There are times that an eagle will follow a diving duck, with talons outstretched, into the water becoming completely submerged. Actually catching their prey is the least popular feeding strategy. While to some this sounds like laziness, it is actually a highly developed method of energy conservation. Using the most energy efficient foraging method can mean a longer, less stressful life for an eagle. http://www.nationaleaglecenter.org/cgi-bin...nlarticle_id=46 ![]() (IWS photo-K10) Visit Eaglepedia DISCLAIMER: Information here has been gathered in good faith from the internet and cannot be guaranteed to be totally accurate. |

Deb, my chiropractor worked on my frozen shoulder and fixed it (although the fixing part took several sessions and hurt like crazy, but at least it went away) - cortisone shots didn't work for me. Sounds like you had a nice, deep sleep, that's good - but as you decided, take the medication a bit earlier in the evening. The hurricanes are being named after DH's relatives ..... Bill, his brother, and Danny, his cousin ...... wonder who's next.
