Pretty please ![]() I'm going outside now to work on the yard for a bit and hose off our entire house and yard to get rid of the concrete dust which is covering everything It will be and 70F here today

![]() Hi there, peeps! Kath, just saw your slideshow of your spring walk. You really travelled quite a distance! Interesting to see the view of the back of the Opera House. All the pretty tulips have given me a little nudge to get out there and plant some more this fall. The candy cane tulip was my fave, but they were all lovely. Really enjoyed your pictures. Happy 1st Birthday to Squish. How long does he stay with his mother? Penny, thank you very much to you, too, for the anniversary wishes. Jill, the eagle sculptures were so realistic. I just had a chance to take a look at the site now.

Carole, that polar bear is such a ham, you get a great shot of him every day. Maybe it's more than just the one bear who is posing, but I keep thinking it's one funny character. Last September we took a trolley tour of San Diego. Now I'm wishing that we had gone to the zoo. Here is a photo that DH took of the topiary elephant at the entrance. I had forgotten about it until you started posting all these great screen caps. ![]() |

I just tried to go to the website myself Cheryl & it wouldn't come up. Oh well. If you should want the e-mail of all the photos from the guy making the eagles, send me your e-mail address. |

Cheryl - That is one big topiary elephant. We visited the SD Zoo about 20 years ago, it was amazing then and is probably even better today. |

Good Morning! Friday night, I watched another successful launch of the Space Shuttle - Mission STS-128. Snagged some live shots to share of this beautiful "bird" (and saw something strange!) Remember when we were looking for eagles on the hill side, and we saw all kinds of things. Well, I saw a "face" on the bottom of the shuttle - just before it disconnected from the big orange fuel tank! Really amazing!! Here is a short slide show (about 12 photos) of before blastoff on the launch pad for the night mission - and of the blast off and shots from the NASA cams on the shuttle on the way up. For those who missed it, night missions are fairly rare and absolutely beautiful.
