Deb - Hope you are feeling better from your meds. :X:

Topa - I don't think the squirrels are eating my tomatoes because I saw them burying the peanuts in the pots. :D

Ozzie - Glad the plumber found the leak, now to get it all repaired.

Good morning Cruzers.

Another beautiful day here.

Love those zoo pictures. Little panda sure is growing fast.

Can't wait for the weekend. We're going to camp. A long weekend. I'm looking forward to being there. Our leaves are starting to change, and some trees are shedding their leaves before changing. Wonder if it's becaus of all the rain we've had this summer and very little sunshine??

:^: :^:

Deb, :Hugs:

CatM - are you sleeping in this morning. . . :D

I too love the Zoo photos.
San Diego Zoo isn't that far from me and I haven't been there in a long time.
It might be fun to visit over Thanksgiving.

Ozzie, I have Skype too,
maybe we'll skype you next Cruzer Event in Ojai.

Camping sounds fun ADK, especailly where you live.
I'd have to drive far up north to get that kind of green.

eaglepedia revisited

July 26, 2007

When it comes to other eagles, the Bald Eagle is a clumsy hunter and fisher and actually relies heavily on dead or injured fish, even patiently waiting on those that come to shallow water to spawn. The Eagle will steal fish from osprey, harassing it in the air until the osprey drops the fish for the eagle to quickly snatch! The Eurasian counterpart of the Bald Eagle is the white-tailed sea eagle, which occasionally strays to Alaska. It is grayer than the Bald Eagle with a pale head, not white. The largest member of this group is Steller's sea eagle, which inhabits coastal northeastern Asia and occasionally visits the Aleutian and Pribilof islands of Alaska. It is a blackish eagle with a wedge-shaped white tail and (in adults) a large patch of white on the shoulders.

Good morning, everyone.

Topa, the seal picture just had the extra touch of your clever wording, that was so funny ..... IWS swim team. rofl

Deb, thinking of you, hope your shoulder stops hurting! :Hugs:

Laurie, enjoy your weekend at camp. The weather is supposed to be really nice, so I think it would be about the same in your area. You'll be happy to relax after the busy back-to-school campus this week.

Just saw on CNN the huge 747 plane that is being used to fight the fires in CA. The retardant alone costs 2 to 3 dollars per gallon.
