Ed Clark reflects on his recent trips to Florida and Louisiana to determine the long term effects of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and how to help the oiled wildlife.

Part 3 (3:52)

Part 4 (3:17)

What he has to say will likely make you very  and co-incidentally the head of BP will get his wish...he can have 'his life back' after he walks away today with a huge severance package :bam: :bam: :bam:

Lily the Black Bear July 26, 2010 (7:21 AM CDT)

Lily and Hope are dripping wet after swimming a channel to access another part of Lily's territory.
They are over 3 miles from where June is foraging in an old clearcut. -- SM

Just got back from the ENT doctor and he put me on 2 new meds (I stopped the other ones after 5 weeks as they didn't help). One is an antihistamine and one is a vitamin that helps people with ear problems. I see him at the end of August so hope these will work. :X:

Carole I have a friend who has ear problems too...what vitamin did your Dr. recommend?

I would love to see your eagle wall of fame :clk: :clk:
By 'boarding' do you mean dry mounting?

Topa I am hoping they post a pic of the dripping Hope and Lily bears :D

It is sooo HOT here right now....86....but a 'dry' desert type of heat. I know, I know, it's nothing compared to Ojai :P

Siobhan is not interested in going for a walk....she's one smart doggie :)^

Carole, good news about not having to get the tubes so far. I hope these meds work so your ears will finally get better. We put our old microwave out on the curb and it disappeared in 20 minutes. You'll enjoy the new TV. We finally got a larger one for the Summer Olympics and what a difference from our small one. :clk: please of your eagle wall of fame. I'll be patient and will wait until the newest members are finished and hung up, too.

Peter is sending me replacement photos of the PH pair and Pimu since our mailman folded my brown envelope, grrr. This time he's putting in a photo of the Baby's chick, too, since that was my prize. I had a 'chat' with the mailman that a brown envelope would be arriving and please don't fold it.

Penny, sounds like you and your DH and friends really got a lot of enjoyment out of the Fringe Festival.

I'd like to see a photo of the bears swimming, too.

Got two panels of the kitchen curtains washed and ironed. I timed myself on the largest first panel and it took me 36 minutes to iron it. Man, was it hot to be doing that!

Whooper chick/Flower Child #10-10 is also a Canadian chick from the Calgary Zoo. ~^~

Topa, that forecast sounds perfect, not too hot. :X: that it doesn't change.

I'm starting to wonder about the cake you and Rachel decided on, or cupcakes .... maybe you told us and I just don't remember.

Penny - The photos are mounted on a wooden plaque, and sort of laminated on.

Here is a photo of my Eagle Wall of Fame but now I have 4 more to add to it. What you see are Hydi 2009, Pimu 2009 and West End from 2008. Now I have Sauces with adoption certificate, Two Harbors and Pelican Harbor photos. I have to re-hang them with tape on the back as they don't stay straight with the hooks, as you can see.

Cheryl - So our flower child is Canadian, whoop whoop.

I give you credit for ironing curtains, I got rid of mine and put in louvred doors as we have a walkout to a terrace off the kitchen, but now I have to wash the louvres, can't win either way. :P

Penny - The vitamin is called LIPO-FLAVONOID. The bottle says it provides nutritional support to improve circulation in the inner ear and is recommended by ear doctors. I have to take 2 in the morning with food and 2 after dinner at night.
