Isn't it so annoying when that happens Carole? your techie guy can get it all done in a timely manner. The major reason we are on Macs is because of the Windows Operating System gremlins and susceptibility to viral attacks. We never seem to have those problems anymore

Penny - I am so lucky I have my computer techie. I met him when I got my desktop, he used to work for Dell (which I will never buy again) doing the installations. He went out on his own as everyone who had a Dell at that time had problems and he could solve them. I have referred him to all my friends, my DD and DH and DS use him in the office. He is honest, reliable and just a sweet kid. I tried my girlfriend's MAC and went , even she has difficulty with it but I think it's what you get used to. Eventually I will get a new desktop with the tower (computer) built right into the screen. My SIL in NY got one and it is fabulous and very reasonable. Her GS ordered it for her when I was in NY as he is an engineer and a real techie so he will choose one for me when I am ready. As you said, MAC is great as viruses just don't attack you. I'm using a free anti-virus program and a free spyware program recommended by my techie and it works extremely well. I had lots of problems with McAfee & Norton AV programs and they also slowed down the computer to a snails pace. Hopefully, he is able to save all my data but I have almost all of it on the laptop so he could transfer that for me. Computers, like men, you can't live with them and you can't live without them.

Great video, thanks for posting! Carole, I understand what you mean about a hole in the water with boats. We had a powerboat.... used once in the last 10 years! My Wednesday, clear but cold (45F this am) and suppose to cloud over later. Waiting for Spring to happen which it should soon as all the wattle trees are in blossom |

Beautiful trees in your photos, Topa and Kath. Carole, sorry about the big problem with your computer. At least you have a reliable fixer guy. |

When we were in Montreal 2 weeks ago, we took our grandson Jason out to his favourite restaurant for brunch, it was his 22nd birthday. They always have some entertainment there to amuse the little kids, like clowns, magicians and a musician. Well this time they had a funky chicken who took quite a liking to Jason who was very embarassed. She sat down at our table and this is the result. Photo isn't very clear, my first attempt using Alan's cellphone.
