Penny, thanks for posting the cute video of Hope playing with her mother. Their coats look so sleek and thick. It just makes my heart happy to see them together. Kris, I will continue to keep you and Ed in my thoughts. Sorry to read that Ed's tests are delayed. Just hang in there, the days will pass slowly while you are waiting but they will pass!! I don't believe what they are saying about everything being fine in the Gulf now, that the oil has dissipated and the shrimp can be harvested again. Such propaganda. |

Good morning peeps. I'm very lucky to work with such nice people. This was in my email this morning from one of the agents in my office Anita. " For those of you who don’t know who Dr. Emoto is, please take a moment to google him. The first time I saw his work, and the photographs of the frozen water crystals it made me weep. The implications are astounding. It is so easy to forget… Even if you are familiar with him, it is always a good to go back and see again… xox nita Dr. Masaru Emoto's Healing Prayer for the Gulf Focusing our energies in response to the Gulf tragedy and for healing the waters and its inhabitants - Yesterday at our spiritual center we read a letter from Dr. Masaru Emoto who many of you will recognize as the scientist from Japan who has done all the research and publications about the characteristics of water. Among other things, his research reveals that water physically responds to emotions. Right now, most of us have the predominantly angry emotion when we consider what is happening in the Gulf. And while certainly we are justified in that emotion, we may be of greater assistance to our planet and its life forms, if we sincerely, powerfully and humbly pray the prayer that Dr Emoto, himself, has proposed. "I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton, coral, algae, and all living creatures . . . I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. " We are passing this request to people who we believe might be willing to participate in this prayer, to set an intention of love and healing that is so large, so overwhelming that we can perform a miracle in the Gulf of Mexico. We are not powerless. We are powerful. Our united energy, speaking this prayer daily...multiple times daily....can literally shift the balance of destruction that is happening. We don't have to know how......we just have to recognize that the power of love is greater than any power active in the Universe today. Please join us in oft repeating this healing prayer of of Dr. Emoto's. And feel free to copy and paste this to send it around the planet. Let's take charge, and do our own clean up! And so it is! Pass it on."

![]() Little Miss 502 Little Sea Otter pup #502 arrived at the Monterey Bay Aquarium after being discovered weak, sick and alone on a California beach. After four weeks of antibiotics delivered via frozen clams and a behind the scenes introduction to a surrogate mother named Joy, #502 went on exhibit to the public last week. She got her temporary numerical name because she was the 502nd Sea Otter rescued by the Monterey Bay Aquarium's SORAC program since its founding in 1984. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing nature of #502's medical treatment, she cannot be released back into the wild because she won't have the necessary wild-otter skills. Eventually she may be introduced to another orphan turned education animal, the not-to-be-missed Kit, who we met earlier in the summer. http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/2010/08/little-miss-502.html |

Hi peeps I got my computer back and am still having major issues with it. The big problem was a corrupted hard drive and he couldn't save everything I had on it. Now other issues with having to sign in here everytime I open the forum. He assured me that he would tweak everything and make me happy, I told him he better as DH said I was very crabby last night and he was right. Love those whooper chicks on the cam. Good news about saving that precious sea otter. Daily prayer

Good morning Speaking of what's not being reported in the Gulf I found this disturbing report on what's being found in Crabs on Florida's coast. The page has links to more that's not being reported on Prime Time News, like all the "mammal bones", and dead creatures washing up on shore. The oil is there, it's just that the dispersants have pulled it down into huge toxic plumes underwater and the sea floor where the Crabs, Shrimp and other bottom feeders live is a thick black poisonous oily mess! Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. |

Deb - Congrats to you on the weight loss, it is so difficult to do but you are well on your way. I also find that when you eat out, you always eat more, the delicious bread basket on the table and of course dessert. Alan should lose about 15 lbs. but he is such a snacker, it will never happen. If I don't buy the noshies, he does. Only when he was told he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol many years ago did he get frightened and lose 20 lbs. Now he is relying on his meds and doesn't follow a proper diet. I always cook a healthy meal, it's after dinner that he sneaks downstairs and munches away. I'm tired of sounding like a nag so it's his problem now, not mine.

Topa - The photo of Rachel in her wedding dress, taken from the back is exquisite, so is she. The wedding cake looks beautiful and I'm sure it tastes divine, what a great choice.

I'm not a big snacker but my early life was learning how to get my share of food with 3 brothers who devoured everything in site! ![]() Hard to undo those early impulses......and gary has a big hike next year so he'll really start kicking his training into gear again so I'll try to tag along when I can but the two biggest parts have been choices of food and walking! |
