![]() a slideshow of Epic - outside of Madison, WI - we visited on Sat afternoon a woman had developed some software where she worked that helped provide access to patient's records - especially useful in an emergency / hospitalized turns out she owned the rights not her employer so she developed it and her efforts grew! she now recruits graduates right out of college to come work at Epic to continue to develop and design new medical software privately owned company - average age of the 2500 ? employees is 26.5 years of age! every person has an office with a view (no cubicles) - wear what you want to work - themes and fun is a huge part of their presentation - they are just finishing 2 more building on their campus because they plan to hire 1,500 more within the next year - AND they are building several more with consideration for a new 10,000 seat auditorium (they have 5,500 but not big enough) they bring their clients here to train and meet once a year and they are now becoming a setting for medical field conferences and meetings! it was quite a place to say the least! click on above photo to see |

Deb - I just watched your slideshow twice. I have never seen such an awesome place. The architecture and modern design is incredible. I loved all the theme centres, very clever, colourful and eyecatching. Wow, you and ES sure get around and now I know why. Thanks for posting this, can't wait to show it to Alan.

I just made this for a mid-eastern dinner tonight and it is better than any bought Hummous. HEALTHY HUMMOUS 2 CUPS COOKED CHICKPEAS OR A 19 OZ (540 M) CAN (I USE CANNED CHICKPEAS) ¼ CUP FRESH PARSLEY 2 CLOVES GARLIC 1 TBSP OLIVE OIL 2 TBSP TAHINI (SESAME PASTE) 3 TBSP FRESH LEMON JUICE SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE ½ TSP. GROUND CUMIN DASH OF CAYENNE PEPPER DRAIN CHICKPEAS RESERVING ½ CUP OF THE LIQUID. RINSE CHICKPEAS IN A STRAINER WITH COLD WATER IN A FOOD PROCESSOR PROCESS PARLSEY AND GARLIC UNTIL FINELY MINCED, ABOUT 15 SECONDS. ADD CHICKPEAS AND PROCESS UNTIL PUREED. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS WITH THE 1/2 CUP LIQUID AND PROCESS UNTIL VERY SMOOTH ABOUT 3 MINUTES OR SO. CHILL BEFORE SERVING. TO CHANGE THE VARIETY, ADD ROASTED RED PEPPERS, FETA CHEESE OR WHATEVER YOU LIKE. SERVE ON A BED OF LETTUCE, WITH CRACKERS OR WITH PITA BREAD

Deb - The Milwaukee Art Museum is like a graceful bird spreading its wings, another architectural masterpiece. This is so much fun going on tour with you and ES.

gary was at a front view point for the opening and I was more to the rear - it was like a bird slowly spreading it's wings to take flight - it was beautiful - takes about 4 mins. they play some goofy music with horrible speakers and then the "ribs" begin to rise up the "wings" stay open - close / open at noon and then close when museum closes at the end of the day if the winds from the lake go voer 23 mph there are sensors that close the wings so that there is no damage to the building |

Harpo, I'm really enjoying your slideshows. Jiller's, your comb-over eagle could be called the " Trump Eagle " Naturegal, I like the looks of your middle eastern humus recipe. I'm in the mood for asian cuisine this week, I can't wait to get home and make dinner.
