Artsy, I really liked the pan flute Native American artist
in the smilebox presentation. The music was called Creation Chant.
If you would like to hear more of his work he is.

Some people celebrate a big occasion by heading to Paris for the weekend. Others book a Caribbean cruise. And then there's Harold and Ann Graff, a pair of retired schoolteachers who traveled from Flagstaff, Ariz,, to northern Minnesota to spend Harold's 66th birthday at the million-acre Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, hoping, praying, and angling to get up-close and personal with a big black bear.

Topa your Earth Day presentation was fantastic! :><: Congrats on your published article and the great video of Lala! And your wonderful photos of the Lake Casitas Eagles! :)^

Speaking of which, Bette your photos of them yesterday were fabulous! :><: Great pics of Zoey too! :)^

I'm glad you all enjoyed my woodland pics yesterday. :D It's amazing to watch Spring unfold from the coldest Winter I've ever experienced, being a Native Southern Californian. B)

The old Oak tree in the photo is hundreds of years old, but not quite as old as the one that actually did shelter Robin and his Merry Men, as Penny commented on. That one is known as the Major Oak of Sherwood Forest (no relation :P ), which is about a thousand years old! I went searching for info on the ages of Oaks in England and found that fascinating webpage.

Penny, loved the Buddy update yesterday. He's such a cutie pie with his little crooked smile. :P

Jill, adorable pic of George and Katie sleeping nose to nose.

We've been tracking our local Foxes most evenings and last night we saw at least two in the local area. There is a huge Rabbit warren next to the train tracks and all the adorable baby Bunnies come out at dusk. The Foxes can be found most nights prowling the edges of the fields. Thankfully we've not had to witness any successful hunts.

This is the hedgerow where the Bunnies come out from, and a close cropped pic of a tiny Bunny sitting next to it. The train track is recessed down and directly behind it. One baby is to the right of the far left fence post, and the tiny light speck on the far right hill line is the Pewsey White Horse chalk sculpture. Can you find either of them? :P
