Kris, Thank You!!! :Hugs:

Deb, I love the dress....and to me, it seems that you've got all your bases covered.

Penny, omg that cake is just gorgeous!!! I love reading the symbolism behind the various fleurs.

I like the idea of the dress and lightweight sweater for the evening wedding Deb. You might also want to try to find one in only one color, no pattern, just to compare. If you wear the patterned one you will definitely be the focal point in all the :clk: :clk: 's.

We just went on our twilight prowl of the fields and were rewarded with a sighting of baby Foxes having their dusk romp outside the den! Ed scouted it out a few nights ago, and found they had a den in a terribly scary location adjacent to the "Fox field", to the of right and just next to the train tracks that border the field! :8O: These pics were taken a week or two ago, not tonight, but show the location of the den, which is on the right at the base of the embankment next to the tracks, and the Dad is seen going toward the den, he's barely discernable in the first pic in the distance on the right of the track. I forgot to turn off the flash and in the grainy tight cropped shot it's reflected in his eye. (Not great pics but just for reference). We watched with binocs and tonight the cubs were crawling onto the train rails on the right and then quickly scooting back to the den. :8O: So adorable, and so vulnerable. They must be about four weeks old. Ed's seen the Mom grab them by the scruff of the neck and bring them back to the den. I looked up their life cycle and found they have a high mortality rate and only live at maximum a few years, if that, more like one or two. :( We're both praying for their safety while they learn the train schedules. All the birds seem to be feeding nests and have been coming to our little yard. The Magpie who has a nest in a nearby tree got bolder today and was competing with the Blackbird for territory in the yard. I bought a freestanding Bird Table on Ebay today to add to our backyard bird smorgasboard and minimize competition. Everyone here seems to have them. Birds are a national obsession. <3

Another grainy cropped pic, through the kitchen window of, "Maggie" today.

A Jackdaw came and sat on the back wall but was hesitant to land on the lawn. They're beautiful Crow family members with an unusual voice, kind of like a chattery combination of a Squirrel and Monkey. Don't know if they're found in the Americas.

At last a clear pic, though snagged, of a Jackdaw. B)

I see update on Phoebe - the chick seems to be alive - so back into the nest - they are wondering if it was stunned from the fall - only time will tell :X:

Oh no! Hopefully Phoebe's chick will be okay. :X: So hazardous to the heart following these little creatures. :( Also hoping Lily is feeling better with the next update. :X: Maybe she just ate something that didn't agree with her. :X:

I was wondering if they took back a sample of her scat to have it analyzed to see if they could tell what is causing her malaise so they would know what to give her to make her tummy upset go away

:X: the fox kits stay safe in their den Kris

Kris, that's what I was wondering too....of course I'm praying that if that's what it was, that it not be something that's highly toxic. The pix you posted made my anxiety level spike. That seems like the most unlikely place to have a fox den......are those tracks busy??? We have train tracks a few miles from here, but they're no longer used.....

Deb, oh thank goodness.........hopefully the Phoebe's chick will be none the worse for wear. :X: <3 <3

Good Evening to you all! Just wanted to stop in!

Deb - Nice dress!! I remember years ago at my daughters first wedding, she said
if I didn't get the color she wanted I couldn't be in the wedding photos. Her
attendants wore teal and the grooms mother and I had to wear burgundy!

Penny - Love the formal portraits!

Kris - Hope all your critters keep safe! Never saw a magpie till I went to
Montana last year

Carole - May you and your family be surrounded with love and comffort
as you put Morty to rest! :candle: <3 :Hugs:

Michelle - Bette - Jil - Fancycatnip - May you all have a restful night!
