Good morning, everybody. Well done to Gary and his friend for the eagle plaque. Jeanne, thanks for the chance to see some of the older eaglets from years past. They are the hope for the future, as you said. Just in case you haven't had enough of the Royal Wedding photos ..... these are lovely. I hadn't seen any of them before - some are taken from a different angle or are more spontaneous ones. Royal Wedding Photos You Might have Missed "Even though thousands of pictures of the royal wedding are available online and in newspapers, magazines, etc., not every single shot makes it into the coverage. Or, every shot starts to blur together and you miss some real gems. Here are some gems you might have missed during the exhaustive royal wedding coverage. ![]() For Kris - Salisbury Plain, England Good Wednesday Mornin' Peeps....... Jeanne, beautiful presentation this morning....as always, everything you create, is done with an artist's eye. Bette, way to go!!! WoooHoooo!!! Penny, I just LOVED watching Junior's antics on the swing.....it breaks my heart that he can't be free, especially knowing that he's healthy enough.....but I am happy that he can serve as an educational ambassador. Cheryl, I hadn't seen most of those pix......I'm still flabbergasted by the beauty and intricacy of the wedding cake. Deb, what a beautiful wooden plaque honoring the Eagle Scouts. Hi Carole!!! Rain, rain go away....come again another day.....Carole wants to go out and play!!! I'm hoping the rain subsides soon for you, sweetie....or at least warms up!!! Sheesh.....

OK here's the latest announcement for 2011 Nest Adoption Challenge Dr. Sharpe will be offering, as an item to choose in the drawing .... ![]() (this one is clean and new - not the one you will receive if you are the lucky person drawn) ![]() A Bone Clone Bald Eagle Egg - one that was in a Catalina nest during the time that IWS was fostering chicks. The "fake" egg was placed into a nest so that the parents would continue to incubate. The "real" egg was removed by Dr. Sharpe and taken to the IWS incubation unit for care until it hatched! The chick was then returned to the nest for the parents to assume care while the "fake" egg was retrieved and brought back to the IWS office! So this "fake" egg has spent a month being incubated by mom/dad bald eagles! An outstanding gift indeed! Something special for a bald eagle lover/supporter! Good luck to one and all when the drawings take place!
