G'day peeps! Its been a long time since I've started a post. I want to congratulate the NAC Team for the wonderful presentations that have been produced for the benefit of the BEs, we look to a wonderful 2011-12 season and support from the world at large. I have been touching base everyday, but not posting, very busy after returning from Vietnam. Here is a link for HaNoi, a city I did not have enough time in and wouldve spent more had time allowed. In addition, it was 'Liberation Day' so all the museums and public tourist exhibits were closed including the Mausoleum. Here is a slideshow of Hanoi and surrounds.... http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l142/KLJinOz/Vietnam%20HaNoi/?albumview=slideshow HaLong Bay ~ a world heritage site that is extremely polluted. We spent overnight in a junk, the Captain said we would be going to an island to swim.... well not ONE person got in the water... UGH. Such a shame... The Nat'l Geo Traveller said there were eagles but they turned out to be kites. Oh well. http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l142/KLJinOz/Vietnam%20HaLong%20Bay/?albumview=slideshow Edited by KLJinOz, May 10 2011, 03:19 AM.

Ozzie - Your slideshow is beautiful. Such fun with friends, grottos, caves, kayaks, scenery and even a soaring bird, thanks for sharing. Glad to hear that Rachel's hair problem is over, I remember one of our grandkids having lice and Alan and I couldn't stop scratching I'm still in NY and hoping to see Deb and ES tomorrow night, it's been so busy here.

Eaglepedia Revisited May 20, 2007 Eaglets will be able to stand and walk about the nest, striking at sticks and grasses with their feet possibly to practice prey catching at about 8 weeks of age! But they aren't predators yet. They will begin to feed themselves and are well feathered, having achieved 90% of their mature weight with female eaglets possibly outweighing their fathers. They are very curious about and aware of their surroundings. At this age, should a human climb a nest tree, the eaglet might jump off trying to escape otherwise they usually hiss and back away, assuming a spread eagle position. "The Bald Eagle" ![]() Pat's post of yesterday - the TH chick is indeed beginning to try self-feeding and is even attempting to mantle! I have to be somewhere today at 10:15 am PST, so I walked early this morning. Naturegal, great post I'm so glad you mentioned the Cruzer's like to party. I was a little concerned in my interview with JoJoFly's that I sounded too much like a party animal in the closing..hehehe. I'm not alone with the Cruzer's .

![]() Good Tuesday Mornin' Peeps..... Carole, I love your presentation this morning....the graphics are absolute eye candy to me, and you know how much I love sweets..... It's always fun to see pix of the Cruzers at get togethers, and it always brings back happy memories.Nice too is seeing Eagleland......but don't stress about it while traveling. Bette, Thank You for the data that accompanies Eagleland....it helps me keep track of things going on on the the nest. Topa, you are sooooo good....when I've got things to do that take me away from home in the morning, I end up blowing off my walk. Bad, bad, bad.....I need it more than the dog, and he's ALWAYS ready to go..... Topa, party animal.....now I can't wait to see the interview!!! Talk about a news "Teaser"....... Ozzie, your photo albums were exquisite......I particularly loved seeing the trip out to the island and your walks into grottos and caves.....just beautiful. Plus, those were outstanding pix of you.....what a pretty girl you are. Glad you're back though.....even though it meant having to immediately plunge into your work week.
