 Anthony - my Scout Troop's newest Eagle Scout!  well I'm hoping today is a more normal day for me and that I can find some time to get caught up and back into the swing of things! what a crazy week and weekend  hope everyone is well I see SR chicks were banded - let the banding begin rained all night here and supposed to continue all day! please all - stay safe ........ gotta run - see ya when I get to work |

 FRIENDS  After a very long trip home, it's good to be back. I have lots of catching up to do on the forum and hope to do that later today. Still have to finish unpacking, do the laundry and house chores. Topa - Your promo yesterday was outstanding, beautiful tribute to Steffani and all that she does for IWS, Pimu, Hydi, all the eagles and keeping us informed of all the latest news. Loved the photos you chose and the music was awesome.

Amur Tiger Triplets! The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of three Amur Tiger cubs. Parents, Tatiana and Toma, welcomed the trio – two boys and a girl -- in the afternoon hours on May 7, the day before Mother’s Day. Mother Tatiana, 11, and father Toma, 10, were introduced to each other this past December. It is the second litter of cubs for Tatiana. Her first, consisting of Korol, Kunali and Naka, was born on June 7, 2004.  CruzersIt is a glorious  day here again 20C/68F heading for a high of 76F I'll be out in the garden as much as possible in between the ironing and packing chores for DH who is leaving for LA on Thursday. For once I won't be jealous because it is just as nice here now

SPCA Sunshine Coast Branch Manager holds 'May' a toy poodle who was dropped from the sky earlier this month by a :soar: who found her just a bit too heavy  She is recovering from broken ribs and deep puncture wounds on her back   Poodle survives kidnapping by an eagle |

I Brake For Eagles, too. I also drive with my eyes on the sky! Watch out when you see me on the road.  I made my NAC donation today. I have this photo saved in a folder on my work computer. I like to open it and look at it every once in a while. There are at least 4 RT active nests on my walk this year. Sometimes the skies are so loud with RT chatter.  My RT Hawlet katchina.

Carole, welcome back!  Your beneficent presence and Eagleand has been sorely missed! And boy!, could I use one of your warm hugs! I have a few of them tucked in my memory bank from last year when we met on the Santa Monica Pier. We're still in the Hell created by the eviction notice we got last week and I'm sorry to not be able to contribute much at the moment. But I do have this good news to relate: Lady, the 26 year old Osprey in Scotland, has been "listening" to her eggs that are due to hatch this weekend if she's still fertile, and it looks like they might be.  Here she is st Sunset tonight. Don't think the recent White Magic was strong enough for our %#!*# landlord, but Ed reported him to the water company today for his refusal to fix the leak in the kitchen that loses almost 8 litres a day that we have to pay for!  Even the rental agency could not make him fix this problem but with the current drought the water company was more than happy to take the report and cite him with the violation. Puny "compensation" for what he's visited upon us!    |

 Moses my wise eagle! Ozzie - That is so sad your daughters actions! Sometimes we can't understand why they act like they do! I understand how it really feels. In the difficult times there seems to be nothing we can do! Personally I believe that prayer and faith changes things! That is why the flowers mean so much to me! I am so grateful for the change! and I just treasure them! So great that you had an angel protect your wallet and its contents!  Penny - You know I can't keep up with all the bear info but I did catch up on the report of Jason so sad the way it happened! Loved your spring graphic and hope you enjoyed working in your garden. Carole - Really like that eagle shot with the reflections. Hope Maya is glad to be home! Deb - How appropriate for the highest award is "EAGLE" scout with all the hard work it takes to attain!
