![]() Hello, everybody. The Hornby chick and the big yellow feet on the Duke chicks made me Carole.Ian and Allison are all moved out. Yesterday we helped over at their house with getting things set up. While we were doing that I realized how much had to be done at our house now that everything is out. When we got home we received a call that Robert's mother had been taken to the hospital so he headed for Stratford. We haven't heard anything this morning so hopefully things have settled down. Sorry that I haven't been around much but I just have so much family stuff happening. Looks like one little Sydney chick is on the news, caught in some fishing wire.

Never a dull moment in our house. When we returned from NY our phones weren't working. Bell came this morning and did a temporary fix, apparently the underground wires are water-logged and they are sending a digger to repair them, when I don't know. The good thing about this is that it is an outdoor job and therefore we don't have to pay for the repairs I think Maya is a bit lonesome for her doggie friend Janina and all the people who entertained her. Tomorrow she goes to the vet for a heartworm blood test. Everything else is getting back to normal and DD who lives out of town is coming for dinner tomorrow night, it will be great to see her.

Carole, I understand about the waterlogged phone lines. What a miserable bunch of weather. Maya won't know what to do with herself ..... she'll have to go back to entertaining herself now. Glad that you and Alan and Maya all got home safely. Deb, sounds like you have so much to do at work, my goodness. Allison was just here to pick up more stuff that didn't make it on the truck. I've promised to bring the bridesmaid's dress over. She is in her twin sister's wedding this summer. Will have to guard it with my life. Robert was very helpful and vacuumed the rec room. My back is really bad. There is so much to clean up. I couldn't sleep last night with thinking of it all. One step at a time I guess. We took the puppies downstairs to run around there for the first time. It had been crammed with boxes and furniture for a couple of months. Now instead of being a room for teenagers to hang out in I think it is going to become a puppy romper room. Mia was so excited. Wynn was terrified - he was stiff with fear just having to go up and down the steps. What a difference in the two of them. I keep calling him Winnie the Poo because that is who he reminds me of. He is much more affectionate, a real cuddler compared to Mia. Jeanne, lovely presentation for TH 2010.

Cheryl - Mia and Wynn are just precious, hopefully he will assert himself soon when Mia gets too rough with him, or she will calm down as she gets older. Once Wynn gets used to the stairs he will love the romper room, lots of space to play and run around.Bell was here again and installed a temporary wire (hanging from the trees ) and they can't dig until they get approval from the city as to where the gas, electric and cable lines are, probably in a month or so.I am the same way as you are when I think too much and have an overload of chores, I just can't sleep. It all gets done eventually but I'm not the most patient person when it comes to tidying up the house. Robert is an angel to help you, Alan does the same thing as vacuuming really puts my back out. |

![]() Don't know what a "bling" is? They're the wing tags - or "wingblings" - worn by the IWS eagles. There's orange for Catalina Island and blue for the Northern Channel Islands. They're handmade by IWS staff from a durable but light, rubbery-feeling material, and placed on the eaglets wings on BANDING DAY. What's even better is they're not just for eagles - but for Cruzers and eagle beanies, too! Find out how to help the eagles, and get blinged, too! Which one? Say HI for me! G'day Peeps! My Thursday working from home, cool, wet morning with filtered sun breaking through. We didnt go out to dinner with our friends last night, BBob has a head cold. Also, I was really tired.... slept in the morning and feel quite rejuvenated. Deb, I thought your job was on the line, did that blow over? Immigration laws have changed again here in Oz, but it was a positive move, more business probably. I think we all lose sleep when thinking of 'things to be done'! I know I do! Love the morning Welcome to Eagleland and The Count, I want to thank you for posting these every day Terrific presentation Jeanne! |
