GOOD SUNDAY MORNING CRUZERS ! The beginning of a new week and time for a history lesson. ![]() CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW PLEASE: http://s11.zetaboards.com/IWS_Eagle_Forum/topic/7393112/1/ visit the 2011 Nest Adoption Challenge topic to check out the good stuff, then join us here at Daily Chat for Sunday to start your history lesson. The current seal is defined in Executive Order 10860, made by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on February 5, 1960, and effective since July 4, 1960. It states: The Coat of Arms of the President of the United States shall be of the following design: SHIELD: Paleways of thirteen pieces argent and gules, a chief azure; upon the breast of an American eagle displayed holding in his dexter talon an olive branch and in his sinister a bundle of thirteen arrows all proper, and in his beak a white scroll inscribed "E PLURIBUS UNUM" sable. ![]() The CREST will follow, so stay tuned for a late afternoon report. Meanwhile, dig thru' those pockets, the bottom of your purses, behind the sofa cushions and anywhere else you may have stashed some money. Coins add up quickly and so do bills of any denomination and whatever you can donate to adopt a nest, make sure you designate it for NAC 2011 so you can get in on the drawings at the end of this campaign, which is June 3rd (and June 3rd is just around the bend in plain sight!). To make it easier for you and for IWS, you may make your donation through PayPal and you do not need a PayPal account, just go to www.paypal.com, make your donation and mark it for NAC 2011. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR IWS AND FOR THE EAGLES ! |

Kris I am so sorry to read your late post on yesterday's thread - I had no idea just how gut-wrenching your situation is, and with Ed's health such as it is, it appears to me that you are doing your absolute best under the circumstances that life has dealt you lately. All my love and mojo are going out to the two of you continuously that life improves for you, and soon. Your last words, quoted above, show your strength and insight and your positive outlook during this very difficult time.

Very informative NAC once again Fancy. Good Job ![]() Kris I was just for you when I read your post early this AM. In hindsight we all would do things differently if we knew ahead of time what lay in store for us. You Will surmount these difficulties and after you have had some time to regroup then you can reassess the whole situation with Ed and his medical needs etc. It is such a shame his Green card wasn't renewed but it is what it is. It is better to not try to 'rush' anything else as you have more than enough on your plate with just trying to find a suitable home. Let your surroundings bring you as much 'cheer' as they can ![]() We are all here to offer you both as much support as we can. Big to both of you.

The fish fairies have obviously provided some this AM. Poor Burrows wasn't getting much food at all until Pa showed up with copious chunks of salmon He even managed to swallow a huge piece all by himself. ![]() Ma is on the nest and has been yelling at something for the last 5 minutes or so Eaglets are all down. Maybe it is the same juvie :soar: hanging around again ![]() ![]()
