Sunnyland. bringing this forward for you, too.I haven't followed this from the beginning but I just have to add: Medicare does cover injuries caused by accident! If the care was given by a hospital, doctor, ER, etc, that facility has to file with Medicare if they are Medicare providers. That includes ambulance services. If you collect any money from an insurance company for the accident, Medicare does get repaid out of that money. Now, some facilities will (and I know this as a fact) send you the bill, saying that Medicare won't pay it as it was due to an accident. What this means is that the facility has not filed with Medicare because they never get the full amount they charge from Medicare and so would rather get it from you! If they are a Medicare provider, just tell them to file with Medicare! If you have a lawyer, he should/will tell them and tell them to stop bugging you! |

G'day Peeps! Hope everyone is well today, its my Sunday, beautiful Bright and Cold but fortunately the rain is overwith.... for now. Did Sailing Allegro on Pittwater on Saturday, after torrential rains all week, Wednesday being cancelled due to high winds, it was a magnificent day. Ok, it was cold too. Not a lot of competition, many boaters stayed in port thinking the weather was going to be nasty. I wasnt at all, winds, cold but no rain. I had the starboard side jib work and also the spinnaker when it went up. There were a couple of people on board I hadnt met before, one actually knew less than me, wow! The bowman Mark I'd met before, and he did some major stuff ups with the spinnaker sail, getting it up right. Captain Rog was ever so patient with him but our starting first became wasted, oh well. We came into port under a very light sprinkle and a rainbow! It was one of those perfect days for me. Christine, thank you for the analysis/synopsis on the eagleife voting, very informative. Better prepared next time, yes. Hope you Northern Hemisphere folks stay cool. I'm staying warm! A Hug for Bette

A GOOD EVENING JILL - TOPA - HEDI - Penny - River - Carole - EagleDuo - ElaineRuth - KljinOZ - Silvergal - and ALL ElaineRuth - NOT in NJ If you are injured in an auto accident the auto medical (PIP) has to pay. You CANNOT go to your insurance. My wrist was injured (a bone like lump needing surgery) but was not noticed till later. SF Ins kept stalling. Said it wasn't from accident. Finally made me go to their IME (who reported he didn't believe it was from the accident) Even though my Son-in-law who is a surgeon had verified it was accident caused. If I had gone to Medicare I'd be in trouble with the law! So I have called them requesting a copy of the IME's report. When I get that, where he said it wasn't from the accident, That may free me to go to Medicare and have it done. "WHEW! The danger is shooting my BP way up Don't ever move to NJ! Hedi - It'd a good thing to have all the info for the fund raiser! Topa - I missed also what ever was said the other night. Hope it doesn't mean I'm not a cruzer because I'm new! Penny - Love the rainbow roses! A turtle plods along but gets there River - Very touching eagle in cemetery! Carole - So glad you can be home with DH and Maya! KLJinOZ - So GREAT to be able to sail!

I know you just want to have it fixed, and there must be a way to get that done.
