Jiller's I enjoyed your friends vacation photos.
They looked like they had a nice relaxing time togther.
Very cute little baby. :Hugs:

Artsy, I shared you GHO story with Suza (O.W.L. Ojai Wildlife League )
Suza said the vet who is caring for the owl is the same vet who
volunteers for O.W.L.

Time to fly... :}^ ^"^
I thought many of you might enjoy the scenery & critters in their pictures! The baby is a foster baby that they're (daughter & son in law of our church friends) hoping they will be able to adopt! :D

Went with a flower delivery about 3pm today to Bette's. Here's a pic of them in the back seat-
Posted Image

Bette supervised me putting the flowers in the vases. :D Then we sat at the dining table & visited while I brushed Sydney, who plopped down right on the table next to me! :D And Bette had a chocolate yogurt! I didn't know someone made chocolate yogurt! Sounds good to me! :Yum:

Made this for my DH tonight. He'd seen it in our Nutrition Action magazine & requested it. Took me about 70 minutes from start to finish. And he liked it! :)

Grilled Corn & Red Onion Salad

5 ears corn
1 red onion, cut in half -inch slices
1 green pepper, quartered lengthwise
1 red pepper, quartered lengthwise
2 jalapenos (optional)
1/2 cup low-fat sour cream
2 Tbs. lime juice
1 small bunch cilantro
1/2 tsp. kosher salt (I used table salt)
1 avocado, diced
1 head butter lettuce, washed & dried (I used spinach)

Grill the corn, onion, peppers & jalapenos over a hot grill until lightly charred, turning once (No grill? Broil the veggies on high in a lightly oiled baking sheet). When cool enough to handle, cut the corn from the cobs, chop the onion & peppers & remove the stems & seeds from the jalapenos.

Puree the jalapenos with the sour cream, lime juice, cilantro & salt in a food processor until smooth. Toss with the corn, onion, peppers & avocado. Serve on the lettuce. Serves 6

Nice job with the power washer Ozzie :)^

When my aunt in BC recently had her driveway and walkway done, a huge sink hole suddenly opened up under her interlocking bricks :o It was a really big surprise but better then than driving the car into it unexpectedly :o

Yes, IMNTK...are you 'moving' in with BBob permanently????
No, I'm not moving in with BBob, he is (probably) going to move in with ME! rofl BTW, BBob = Beautiful Bob. :)^

Those flowers for Bette are just gorgeous Jillers!

My Monday, could NOT sleep last night, busy work day but fading quickly (its only 3pm). See you all tomorrow.
