Have you Voted? Dr. Peter Sharpe has the epitome of an Eagle Rare Life Story. He is a wildlife biologist who has devoted his life to returning our nations symbol, the Bald Eagle, to its historic habitat on the Channel Islands. I am in the midst of packing and doing all kinds of last minute 'things' before leaving at the crack of dawn Hate those flights, but we are using points and you know what happens ![]() I will try to be back in time for the tonight I managed to 'catch' the bug that DH still has...Echinacea, massive amounts of Vit C and gargling with straight apple cider vinegar...the one with the 'mother' in it. Got my Dristan ready for the flight to keep the ears unplugged so I'm keeping I will survive ![]() It's another gorgeous blue sky day here again. High of 31C/88F. It's not as nice in Montreal and they have humidity!!! |

Some more very disturbing news from Grand beach....two more bears were shot ![]() ![]() Dr. Rogers was interviewed about the situation here. The NABC is so close some of 'their' male bears actually have been known to hibernate in Manitoba. Link to the story in the Winnipeg Free Press: Problem black bears should be fed, not shot Link to last night's Lily the Bear Update August 17th where they discussed supplemental feeding in times of scarce food. I hope somebody will listen to Dr. Rogers before more bears are killed here ![]() I'm so about this I could scream!!!

Just phoned DD Louisa and team Toronto are up 1 - 0 but there is still lots of time left. I am a wreck and can't wait to hear the final outcome. They are playing Team LA now and they are rough and tough.
