Good morning all

I'm seeing this morning that our Island is in the direct path right now of the projection and they are saying Cat 2 :( whooee.....

I'm going to the store this AM before everyone else goes - stock up - pack it away - and guess we'll be riding it out! What else can we do :( ..........

We are about 35-40 ' above sea level so surges shouldn't be an issue for us - don't know where the shore evacuees will be going ........they have not made too many announcements here yet - we did get a phone call from the county executive yesterday telling us to get ready .....

on a brighter note - I've been working on the photos and have 2 sets done ....

Part I is of the day before the wedding - rehearsal...... click on above image.....

The 2nd slideshow is of the activity before the wedding started ..... click on above image.....

Maybe tonight I'll be able to work on even more ..... we'll see

OK off to the store...

Hi everybody.

Well done Carole and Carol on guessing the Galapagos. You are right! Thank you (and Deb) very much for the best wishes for our 40th. We booked this trip two years ago just to be sure we could be on it for our anniversary.

Great photo of Team Toronto. The medals will mean so much to the girls and their coaches.

I had a chance to look at your two wedding slideshows, Deb. It looks like it all went off without a hitch. The cake was unique with the two VWs and was meaningful as well. Cute photo of the first day back at school. :clk:

Mia and Wynn are at Jenny's now. I have to finish folding my clothes so Robert can weigh my suitcase. There could be trouble. :D ;) Our weight limit is very strict because of the smaller plane that takes us from Ecuador to the ship in the Galapagos.

Stay safe in the storm, easties.

Bye for now. I'm looking forward to seeing some boobies, hehehe.

60years when high school graduations has baccalaurette services in church! School song
books included hymns. Class started off with a Bible reading / prayer / and pledge of
Allegience and daily Vacation Bible Schools were held in the public schools in the summer,
and other people respected that.

Until 12 judges appointed (Not elected by the people) Decided "separation of church and state"
The phrase "separation of church and state" itself does not appear in the United States Constitution. The First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Prior to 1947, however separation of church and state was not considered part of the constitution; indeed in 1870s and 1890s unsuccessful attempts were made to amend the constitution to guarantee separation of church and state, a task to be accomplished not by constitutional amendment but by judicial fiat in 1947.
