Bev was fine. Her daughter and family were the hysterical ones :hair: and picked her up to spend the night at their house. She is back home and all is well.

That is quite a slideshow of the fallen trees, thank goodness you were spared that.

Carole how cute are those whooper babies (and curious)
Topa what a wonderful family photo - the little ones are so beautiful - so glad you got to make the trip and have such a great visit

Glad to hear Bev did fine - and glad she has someone to look after her <3 aaaaah
we've had such winds again all afternoon and blinking power a few times but now seems to finally have settled!

spent time visiting with friends who were all out having a look at the trees that were down and trying to figure out who had power and who didn't - WAY more don't have power tonight than do - we're just very lucky I guess where we live ..... most of our friends here in town have no power and they are saying it could be 3-7 days! eek

eventually came home and began to really work on the wedding photos - I know Sara and Mike are waiting on the edited versions........ I gave them copies of everything except the reception photos, before we left. So now I'm editing what I have - putting all into one folder and will send it off to them on a stick!

Gary and I sure took a lot of photos LOL ........ but glad cause mike would have his eyes closed - next photo Sara had hers closed - next her mom had hers closed :)

sure hope all that were in Irene's path with wind rain flooding - are managing and that they are safe and things return to normal quickly without too much delay or suffering!
