Good morning!Whooper Update: As the pilots prepared for a flight this morning the surface winds picked up considerably, making the journey today impossible. Deb, thanks for starting the day off with a smile or more plus a super photo angle of the Tower site. I'm cuddling in bed with the dogs. Robert left early to substitute teach. Things are much calmer if I just rest with them and let them sleep for awhile. They think it's a big treat. The RTH looks perky. |

Topa - When it gets so cold in your area, what do you do to keep your lovebirds warm and comfy in the aviary? |

Naturegal, The love birds sleep in small cages that I've wrapped in heavy duty Army Surplus wool blankets inside the coup . They've worked on their nests inside the blankets all summer and fall. They are toasty at night. At night after dark I throw several more Army blankets over the front of their cages. Every spring I strip their cages and they have to start all over clean. I uncover their cages now.. the sun is coming out.. BB in a few.

You are such a good birdie mom, Topa. Good question, Carole. Do the birds ever have chicks? Or do you keep the males and females separated, Cathy? Mia is up, BBL. Let the chaos begin.
