Good morning, peepers.

Whooper Update: Migration Day 60 - December 7, 2011

The relatively calm air of the very early morning hours transitioned into pant leg whipping winds by 5:30am. Yesterday's forecast for morning weather at our destination has changed and now shows we have a 50% chance of hitting rain by touchdown time.

Today will be Down Day 5 in Union County, KY.

Posted Image This will be a happy/sad day in so many ways, Deb!

Awesome to see the eagles ..... great captures, Carole! In your collage of the RTH I like the top right one the most because the eye is so clear and alert.

Good day Peeps,
The black screen is the sound of the wind machines from my
driveway about two streets away from the orchard in the photo.

Here's the progress on the RTH manmade nest base in the tree at Eaglecrest :**: :><: :><: :**:

That's a gift squirrel on the left :o

No paint or glue was used and the contents of the original nest were put back into it :D

RTH's get a new replacement nest (3:22)

Hi to you too Topa! :}^ What a surprise! That's a pic I don't think I've seen from Limuw's Memorial gathering on Santa Cruz in 2007! <:3 And there's Ed in the background above my walking stick. :P I have that stick with me and use it every time we go walking here. It was made from a root from the creek alongside the hiking trail in the Santa Monica Mountains where we always used to go. <3 Ed has a matching one from the same tree, only a bit bigger.
