Well, what do ya know? I am finally in again. Was able to post the pic early this a.m. but when I would try to post a msg. it was come up an error page. Been raining here allllllll morning. Luckily, it didn't start until after I was at work, tho. Ground too wet to have the kiddos outside, tho Not going to be fun having 100+ kids couped all all afternoon! Jim is coming home tmrw. after being gone since a week ago today. I have to say I do get my best sleep while he is gone but I hate him being gone. I just might have to take up residence in the spare room at night, tho.

Hi Karen - Does Jim snore? My DH does, but a kick or two stops him during the night. The minute DH puts on 5 pounds, his snoring starts so he now realizes that he has to lose that weight, hahaha, wishful thinking I couldn't get on the forum until now, don't know what the problem was but I e-mailed Dr. Sharpe (poor guy, like he doesn't have enough to do ) advising him of the problem. All is good now

TODAY'S UPDATE ON NX December 12 update NX continues to remain bright, alert, and feisty. She is eating well and finished up her course of medications over the weekend. Dr. Miranda decided to change the treatment procedure for NX’s right carpal [wrist] wound; on Saturday, Dr. Miranda applied a small, moist bandage to the area in hopes of encouraging the dry, scabby wound to heal more efficiently. |

Carole...yes, Jim snores. But he also is constantly kicking his feet on the bed! Almost like he is walking while lying down sleeping That bothers me more than the snoring. I snore, also, but it doesn't keep him awake. The thing with me is that its hard for me to get to sleep and if I have to get up to use the restroom, it takes me awhile to get back to sleep. But something I have noticed since he has been gone a lot is that I don't get up to use the restroom as often during the night when he is gone! So I am thinking that he is waking me with his snoring/kicking and then suddenly I need to pee! When he's home I will get up about 4/5 times a night but when he's gone I get up once/maybe twice. Well, our Christmas plans have changed. David ended up getting Christmas hrs. at work (he works at Kohl's) so they can't come for Christmas So I just made hotel reservations and we are going to leave here on the 26th and be home the 29th. We will just celebrate Christmas a day late which we did with them last yr. also. I will still get to see my grandbabies (tho they aren't really babies anymore) so I am excited about that! And Jim is not coming home tmrw. after all But he better be home by Friday or I will divorce him! (Its our anniversary Friday) Savta Topa Cathy...LOVE that song by Jose Feliciano! I taught it to the kids at school every yr. Monkey looking thru the camera LOVE IT! |

B.C. sea turtle strandings puzzle scientists The Associated Press Posted: Dec 12, 2011 6:33 AM PT Last Updated: Dec 12, 2011 8:11 AM PT for video (1:50)Sighting a hard-shelled sea turtle off British Columbia's coast is extremely rare, so experts are both puzzled and concerned that three such turtles have washed ashore in the last two weeks on Vancouver Island. Two of the hard-shelled turtles have died, while the third green sea turtle found on Wednesday is being warmed slowly at Vancouver's Aquarium but chances that it will survive are slim. The green sea turtles, which are listed as a threatened species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, were found hundreds of kilometres from their usual warm-water homes further south in the Pacific. All three turtles washed up at Pacific Rim National Park, an obvious spot for such strandings, both because of the topography of the coast and because it's open to the ocean. Read More I wonder why nobody is talking about the huge amounts of radio-active water being dumped into the Pacific from the Japanese reactors and how this has probably impacted so much of the wildlife living in the ocean  |

Well I finally got back in here but I had to log with my user name and password and I got told that there is nobody by that name registered here ![]() Karen it sounds like Jim has 'restless leg syndrome'. There is a lot of information on this in Wikipedia. Sometimes it can be caused by an iron deficiency. That is very disruptive for both of you . Glad you will get to see the GC's over the Holidays Did they ever find out what caused the black out that David had?

Lily the Black Bear No update again tonight. Earlier today I joked with Lynn about how my non-update last night about being in New Hampshire garnered more comments than the real update had the night before. He mentioned we should just do a “Where’s Sue?” update each night while I’m in New England. I thought he was kidding… perhaps not! ![]() I ventured to Brattleboro, Vermont this evening with friends for dinner and a holiday concert. The concert by Nowell Sing We Clear included an interesting version of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ that included ‘Eleven bears a-baiting.’ Tomorrow morning I’m off to Maine. Hopefully I’ll find an Update in my Inbox while I am there! Otherwise we’ll have to play “Where’s Lynn?” Thank you for your patience! Sue M |
