![]() Merry Christmas to all my dear Cruzer friends, and a Blessed Hanukkah to those observing. Topa, beautiful images of your family! Loved your other posts too. Carole, thank you for your wonderful Eagle updates. This pic is of the amazing Comet Lovejoy that last week survived its death defying plunge into the Sun's atmosphere and emerged looking, as some have commented, like the Christmas Star. Ozzie might be able to see it, but more Northern latitudes can't because of it's position in relation to the local daylight hours. See spaceweather.com for more info. |

Merry Christmas my Dear Friends![]() Its Boxing Day here, starting out like yesterday, a Beautiful Blue Skied Sparkling day. Christmas Day stayed that way all day. Its already starting to cloud over here, rain is predicted. We are suppose to go to a picnic at Middle Head on Sydney Harbour to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race with other sailing friends. If it starts to rain, I’ll have to watch it on the TV! Boxing day is also the start of the Big Sales, but none of us are interested in going..... Two days of cooking Christmas Lunches was exhausting but wonderful. Bob was a great help on the cleanup. Christmas Eve was delightful with his three sons and gfs along with Rachel. Christmas Day was again memorable. Rachel even gave me a gift, a lovely sweet pea scented candle. Bob gave me some beautiful pearl drop earrings, a pearl necklace and three gorgeous 20%silk/wool pashminas (oh man are they soft! Made in Nepal). My Ex came over (Rex) and another Yankee friend, Anna so there were 5 of us, it was lovely. And the kitties got a little turkey too. |

![]() Everybody has gone and it's quiet again after a hectic couple of days. We had a wonderful Christmas and I am very grateful for all our blessings. - very cool comet photo, Kris - special moments captured of your grandchildren lighting the candles on the menorah, Topa .... I liked the picture of Daniel, too - time to work on another set of dishes, some need to be done by hand ... and run the vacuum around - the dogs were really good .... it was a joy to just take a moment to watch them experience their first Christmas ... they now have almost 2000 likes and over 85 comments on their photo (the one I posted here yesterday) ... the Dog Bless You site on Facebook had asked for Christmas dog pictures, posted mine just for fun ... I didn't know that he would choose our photo but he ended up featuring Mia and Wynn on Christmas Eve (although he spelled their names Winn and Mix ) ... bit of a shock ...third photo on the wall http://www.facebook.com/exploredogs

Cheryl, that pix of Mia and Wynn is just adorable!!! No wonder it was picked....and they both look so well behaved and elegant..... I'm so happy to hear that all went well with your Christmas festivities.....we celebrated here last night....and today, we're home alone.....and it's a quiet, kick back and relax kind of day. We usually go to Chuck's sister's home on Christmas day, but ever since my nephew moved to Lake Tahoe, their family has been traveling there, and spending a couple of days in the snow....don't blame them, it's beautiful. |

Cheryl, I saw the photo of Wynn and Mia on FB last night. At the time I looked you had 575 likes and I thought " WoW, Cheryl has a lot of FB friends." Then I noticed it was Dog Bless You. Congratulations for your photo being chosen for Dog Bless You Christmas Eve post. Ozzie, Sounds like your Christmas was blissful. Nice to have family around. I didn't make the wreath, one of my FB friends is a vegan chef. I thought It was a very creative way to serve a salad so I decided to post it. and I love kale. Packed, talked to the grandkids and Daniel. They are all so sweet. I'll post asap. C U online from Jerusalem.

We had such an enjoyable afternoon and evening and it sounds like many of you enjoyed the company of friends today as well The Holidays are always a special time to reconnect with family and friends. It was a really unusual day and evening here because of the warm temps. It is still above freezing at 2C/36F and it's almost midnight. Tomorrow will be even warmer A really extra special gift ![]() |
