This is too cute Carole I think you could get some porcelain plates made with the Maya images in your signature and either use them for serving dessert or frame them and hang them on the wall

G'day peeps, my Tuesday, at the office. HOT today too. Its already 80 at 9am. Happiest Anniversary Penny & Alan, wow, 44 years! I think Tiger has another infection in his anal glands, he doesnt appear in pain but when I picked him up this morning I was left with some residual on my arm, oh dear. I am going to restrict his diet to dry high fibre food and yogurt see if that doesnt fix him up. Love the morning graphics. and yes, River

we got back home a bit ago. went to the beach to walk - boy was it windy but it was sunny - cold and nice! then we headed to scout shop to pick up last minute things for eagle ceremony for 1/8 then off to best buy to return something and then buy a new nano since mine died on my walk the new one is sooooo tinythen to verizon to get stuff for gary's new phone since he had to update his which new one will come on Wed then one or two little stops and home BUT one of our scout families caches and they put out 3 new caches (first timers) so off gary and I went to Queens to check 'em out! found the first - it was really clever hide couldn't find #2 but some guy came up - he had gotten there just before us and found it on the ground - wind had blown it off the "shelf" it was on - we talked a bit - fixed the cache and on we went to #3 #3 was a quick find and on the way home, we passed by one we had missed on an earlier try so we gave it a quick look and voila - found it now home doing laundry - cleaning - sorting and printing eagle scout stuff for the 150 programs that will keep me busy tonight LOLwhew ...... |

we "taped" the parade - it's always fun to watch the temps are dropping here - brrrrrr yes the beach was fun but windy - very hard to walk west today - it was slow and cold going - but the return walk to the car was easy with the wind shoving me along we've not had much opportunity to get down there for our walks so it was great today - hoping to get back into that routine ..... gonna bundle up and head to bed night all be safe be well |

I don't know if this one was posted last month or not- This is cool, it looks like the house is jumping. As the story goes, the guy that owns this house lives north of Cincinnati , Ohio .. Police were constantly being called for traffic jams and accidents in the neighborhood so they asked him to shut it down during certain hours. Instead he started charging by car load to pay off duty police to be there.. The guy is supposedly a real computer GEEK. http://www.flixxy.com/best-christmas-lights-display.htm |

Lily the Black Bear - Update January 2, 2012 Lucky, Honey, and Jewel 's ![]() With Lily and Faith showing minimal activity yesterday, the main action was in Lucky and Honey’s den at midday. Lucky was sneezing. Honey woke up and did her usual nervous blowing and clacking. She went outside the den and kept it up, mixed with huffing in moments of dissipating fear. Then Lucky asserted himself. He lunged toward the door and slapped the ground—a defensive, nervous behavior bears do when there is a reason they can’t leave—like Lucky being in his den. Eventually, Honey came in and did more displays of nervous tension. Lucky lunged again and slapped the ground maybe a foot from her—behaving very differently from the submission he showed during Honey’s eruption toward him last week. Donna Andrews said that Honey seemed almost submissive after that as she quietly and slowly raked bedding and settled down to sleep. Today was peaceful. We’re anxious to get the Den Cam in Jewel’s den to either see what a non-pregnant bear does or how she differs from Lily in birthing and care of a litter. The Den Cam should be in this weekend, and, if Jewel is going to have cubs, we’ll likely know a couple weeks after that. Excitement mounts as we think of how much Lily and her family have shown us that we never would have expected and wonder what will happen with Jewel. And what will happen next winter with Lily. 's A side nature note: the omnivorous black-capped chickadee will eat sunflower seeds and a little suet in addition to their wild diet of frozen insects, spiders, the eggs of both, plus berries. They also scavenge at wolf-killed deer carcasses. But we didn’t know they would feed on a dead mouse. We have watched as they pecked at the back of the head yesterday—perhaps to get at the brain—and at the throat today. Thank you for all you do. —Lynn Rogers and Sue Mansfield, Biologists, Wildlife Research Institute and North American Bear Center |
