Good Morning Cruzers![]() Screencap Deejay At NBG there has been some very different behaviours since early this AM Pa did check underneath her very early. Lots of nestorating by both, beaking and the female laying in the nest again since 8:30 EST so lots of for the first egg. Early Morning Activities They are saying NO EGGS yet but I'm not so sure that is correct because the cam was down for most people through the early morning hours

Penny, you make the exact observation that I did. The NBG cam was down for a while this morning and she certainly looks to be incubating for the past few hours. Both were off the nest after the camera came back on and no egg rolls have been observed but she's sure staying put and looking like a new Mom. Though as I wrote this she got up and repositioned but no egg was seen, though commenters think she looks to be in the process now.![]() |

Good morning CHIL Island peeps. Now I remember why I love Monterey and Carmel, the amazing sea shore! Yesterday was perfect,I even timed it right to take some sunset shots of the water. We're off to Point Lobos Reserve hiking trail. Said to be the most beautiful ocean land Trail in the world. ( Lobos - wolf) BBL |

WCV Red Tail Hawk Released![]() Red-tailed Hawk #12-0003 was released on March 6 in front of a small but enthusiastic crowd at Shenandoah River Park in Shenandoah, VA. Center staffer Lacy Kegley, who released the bird, reported that the bird flew off “strongly and beautifully” — flying up into a tree, hopping to another branch, and then flying off — out of sight.

Topa. Enjoy your hike today. I have been to Monterey and Carmel many, many moons ago. We drove on the old Pacific Hwy and what fabulous views. I still remember the lone cypress standing bent over from the wind on a rock outcrop. I don't have any 's of it on the computer though. That was long before they even existed ![]() Can't wait for your photos

Sound is on at the NBG cam...weird humming right now but they are working on it ![]() NBG checked with their overhead cam and said there are NO EGGS in the nest. Here are some of the many ways to say 'No Eggs Yet' in several languages ![]() " sans oeuf, sans encore keine Eier, aber tanpa telur, namun aon uibheacha, fós senza uova, eppure bez jajek, a jednak не яйца, но jajca ne, pa vendar sin huevos, sin embargo, inga ägg, ännu не яйця" Edited by Artsy Mom, Mar 7 2012, 09:59 AM.
