Wow, Penny, those are encouraging pictures! I'm praying this intruder will be sent on its way and life on this nest can continue to thrive undisturbed. Oh my heart! Dad is such a passionate lover!

Pa landed in the back branch of the nest tree around 1:30pm. ![]() He's going for a roller coaster ride while watching the intruder who according to a ground observer, just flew low over Ren Ct and toward front gate at 1:34pm. |

![]() G'day peeps, my Friday, busy half day at the office, then lunch with a gf, then sailing this evening. The rain has FINALLY stopped, but flooding continues with evacuations as the water moves towards the coastline. RIP Pipsqueak, too soon. Overjoyed with the Fraser Nest BEs!!! Quoting our friend Sara O: The two of them really demonstrate the success of the Bald Eagle Restoration Program on SCI. IWS must be bursting with pride! I know I am, and I'm barely connected. If Cecil and crew hadn't hiked in to rescue the eaglets on that fateful day, this wouldn't be happening as it is. If Jann hadn't called Deb, and Deb hadn't called Peter... But they did, and here's the result. I'm honored to have met (actually touched) Spirit in Orange County that day long ago. Who knew then that he was destined to be Cruz' mate? Please send your ppt Jillers KLJinSyd@gmail.com Love all the BE updates, thanks ladies. Tomorrow is my Beautiful Bob's birthday. I bought him a wide angle lens for his SLR camera (which of course I will use too!) and have some outside events happening for him. I undestand Barb from NM is flying into LA, CA today to visit some Cruzers, her sister Ann and Catalina! Everyone have a great day! |

RIP Pipsqueak He was such a cutie and fought hard to get his bit of the food. There are so many ups and downs in the world of the eagles. I hope the intruder gives up and moves along at Norfolk. Psst ..... there are lots of trees here! We've had a little flock of at least 40 robins hanging out together in the neighbourhood trees this week. They like the ash trees with the berries in them. Nice to see a sign of spring. Topa, I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. It sounds like a really special place. |

Two unions with Air Canada, the pilots and the baggage handlers, are on the verge of going out on strike. We have a flight to Florida for a cruise booked with the airline for Thursday. Robert has spent a lot of time today looking online for other airlines and flights. The government has asked a board of some sort to rule on whether or not a strike would be harmful to the health and safety of Canadians. It is Spring Break time here and many families are counting on the airline to get them to their holiday destinations. We're hoping for a resolution.
