Good Morning Sunshine Cruzers   Orchid in the Conservatory We spent the afternoon at Assiniboine Park yesterday because Spring showed up!!! It was 55F and the snow was melting big time. We have a mini flood in the backyard today and it is cloudy and  High of 9C/49F for today and higher temps for the rest of the week so I think this is the official end to winter

Cheryl such a cute Leprechaun kitty and the whale tails are awesome No, I didn't see the Canada's Got Talent show. I did see their 3 trucks outside the Playhouse Theater when they filming that in January though  Rick Mercer is hysterical...I'll have to see when they air that dog show episode.I haven't been to a dog show in years but we used to go to the Mid Canada when we had our Doberman because we were involved in a dog club and in training him for basic agility courses. I should make a point of going this year to see what kind of products they have for Yorkies. I need some new brushes

CDN, So much MAGIC to see two whales surface on your trip to Maui! What a special birthday salute to you!  Deb, I viewed your camping trip with the scouts last night. Looks like you had a great time camping under the stars. Happy Birthday HEDI! I saw some MAGIC my last night in Carmel. If you watch the slideshow to the end you'll see the surprise I got when I turned around from taking the last shots of the sunset. I saved my favorite for last. The new female at NBG was giving Pa playful nips yesterday, I'm not so sure he liked it though  Reese Lukei: Talked to Dr Mitchell Byrd, THE bald eagle expert, and he said he had never seen 4 mates in one season. May happen in the wild but never documented before. More  this morning because Pa wants some  Yesterday #4 Refused this attempt (1:42) |

Topa, beautiful Smilebox and slide shows That part of the California coast is among the most beautiful places on Earth.  There's an incredible park in Big Sur, the Julia Pheiffer, where you can reserve a campsite on an awesome outcropping of cliff over the ocean. I always wanted to do that but never managed it.  Cheryl, awesome Whale encounter! What a memorable way to celebrate your birthday. I'm getting PTSD from watching these nests.  Hoping that Dad at NBG is finally finished auditioning new mates and being assaulted by new ones. And that Eagles don't have to worry about STDs. |
