Eagle Guardian Posts: 10,504 Group: Members Member #96 Joined: April 18, 2008	Cruzers We are hitting some record temps for this time of the year here...high of 11C/51F and we'll be in the mid 60's by Friday My backyard is a lake on one side I heard on the news that over 200 US cities have temps approx 30 degrees higher than normal too, so it feels like Spring all over the place

It seems #4 is so aloof that I wonder if she really wants Dad or maybe just the nest. It seems she'd be more there with him if true pair bonding was her goal. Her bloodied talons have me worried how #3 fared in that aerial combat. I so hope it turns out well for all involved.

I am sure that she 'won' the nest and #3 won't be back too soon. Judging by the bloodied feet on 4 she has the battle scars to show for it. I even thought that maybe she only wanted the nest and had another mate but maybe she is refusing Pa on the branch because her feet are too sore to hold him up too She doesn't seem to mind his advances if she is in the nest and he brought her a today so I'm trying to be optimistic an egg or two will be laid

I thought her talons were probably too painful from the fight to grip the branch! I just pray that poor #3 is recovering somewhere and something good comes from all of this. I'm sorry to say that at this point I don't like her very much, but maybe she can redeem herself somehow.
