Good Morning Everybody The cam is down again at Norfolk but it was up earlier when something that looked like a juvie tried to land in the nest. The female didn't seem too concerned because she stayed on the  branch but Pa was mightily upset and took off after it

DH and I went to see 'A Separation" last night and we weren't disappointed. This film truly deserves its Oscar for best foreign language film. We were engrossed right to the very end despite the English subtitles. A very moving depiction of what can happen as a marriage slowly dissolves and a surprising glimpse into middle class life in Iran. This film is the antithesis of the usual Hollywood production and so beautifully acted by everyone in it including an elderly man and a very young girl who steals all the scenes she is in. Like real life it does not end with everything tied up in a neat little bow. Go see it, you won't be disappointed   Asghar Farhadi with his Oscar for best foreign language film for A Separation.  An Eagle's Close Encounter Jan. 2012On New Year's Eve, 2011, a semi trailer truck hit an eagle on the Inland Island Highway near Horne Lake BC, shattering the windshield...  Semi has been diagnosed with a fractured pelvis and we are keeping her warm and quiet in hopes it will heal.
