and already we have eagle items for inclusion in the drawing in June woo hoo  NOTE: IWS is offering a limited number of "special eagle items" this year. They will be distributed to the winners of the NAC drawing on a first come, first served basis until they are gone. Below is a photo of one of the items. Good morning everyone overcast and rainy here - sun supposed to come out later today we did not win the lottery so gary won't be getting his boat LOL we did go see Hunger Games last night - I thought the movie dragged a little here and there - very long - and they should have given a little more definitive background - if you didn't read the books you could be a little confused ...... hmmmm anyway - what to do today - stay home and clean house (yes I said the word) or get out and about ..... I'd love to do walk on beach ... hmmmm maybe I can convince ES to get with that .... trying to sort out our plans for vacations - including CA - we have our tickets but nothing else ...  It's been a crazy beginning to '12 for us indeed  but I'd expect nothing less  so with that - I hope everyone is well - enjoying your weekend Penny I just luv the cubby photos and info ...... it's so interesting ... Kris hope it works out for Lady of the Loch ....  We saw an osprey at one of the southshore nests last week so will be keeping an eye out to see who comes to what nests - one nest had failed the year before but surpisingly, a new pair had set up their home in the highway sign  and they raised a chick! So we shall see what '12 brings us!Topa - deep breath and make sure you enjoy today - don't get caught up in the arrangements and let the day slip by - have fun - what a wonderful time for you all Kris sending hugs across the miles to you and ed and thoughts to all of yours in these trying times, as things get sorted out and hopefully improve ...  sunny I'm a firm believer in things happen for a reason and as sad as the moment is, hold tight that all will work out for the best for your GS .... maybe you could sneak away today and spend a little time out with nature and get a re-charge - that's what I like to do - that's why I enjoy the beach walks sooooo much - the wind, the surf (even though pretty far across the beach), my music - me alone (kind of) ozzie fall weather - that sounds so funny considering we're barely into spring oh no - I missed cheryl's update post - will have to back track a little speaking of which - my mom was indeed moved to the alzheimer's area and seems to be settling in - I'm hoping to get home in early June and will have a chance to visit her then. I feel so much better now that she can be monitored 24 hrs and not left alone as was happening at my sister's they also have some structured activities that surely will help her situation but her mind is more and more back in the 70's when most of my siblings were still home and all of her siblings still living .... but it is what it is .....speaking of which - Cheryl, how is your beautiful mother doing? OK enough rambling need to get busy - ES is waiting (tap tap tap) BBL |

oooooh somehow I missed Cheryl's post (and I saw there were 2 friday chats so I merged 'em) so sorry to hear about Robert's mother but hope indeed she is comfortable lay offs - phooey hope he finds something new quickly AND that it is something way better! and congrats in order - outstanding babies weddings - wonderful life things to celebrate ...... congrats to your DS and fiancee and I'm looking forward to shower photos from Topa - exciting exciting .........

DT and Pa around midnight acting a bit strange   for videoI was sure she was in the process of laying an egg calling out, very edgy, up, down a lot with back rippling contractions and tail lifting but no 'cigar'  Pa watching over her all night on the  branch and in the nest. I think he her best

 CruzersIt's trying hard to make it to 60F today but overcast and only 13C/55F here right now and more  predicted for Sunday Carole I just those closeups of Princess today. You have gone above and beyond everyday with Eagleland nest postings so don't ever apologize for anything  Topa can't wait for the Baby Shower Deb great to hear you enjoy reading about the bears, I was thinking I shouldn't bother anymore, especially at NAC time I can't believe that #3 DT came back last night almost right after #4 ate a huge  in the nest It's musical females at NBG  Wish we all could read  minds |
