Anybody know how a grey squirrel could lose all the hair along the entire length of its tail? I was so shocked when I saw it this morning digging for nuts under my tree and then it ran across to my neighbors. Without the hair on its tail it does look like a giant rat. I'm wondering if it got caught in something ![]() I'll have to try to get a of it the hair can grow back soon.

Penny, that makes sense and I hope that's what it is. My brother is a master manipulator and not that credible. I'm sure he's playing my Uncle who can't know the real situation. It was the "50 degrees below normal body temp" that alarmed me knowing he's on state disability and would be subjected to less than optimum county hospitals and doctors. Deb, I had not heard of "The Book of Mormon" as a stage production. So I did some internet searching... Interesting, since my Swedish side of the family are all Die Hard Mormons. The Uncle who contacted me about my brother's condition is a Mormon Elder who has spent his life trying to bring his faith to people worldwide who already have their own culture and their own faith. |

Penny and Carole, and any one who I miss after retiring shortly, Thank You for the Birthday Wishes for Lori. I will relay them. Her DH, Jeff, has been suffering an extreme bout of Vertigo for a few days and has been in the hospital this past weekend for diagnosis and treatment. Her Dad is also having serious health issues so this hasn't been a very happy birthday for her.

This is great American ingenuity. This is very interesting even if you didn't grow up on a farm! Even if you did grow up on a farm, I'm sure it wasn't like this one!! Really cool..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJRy82i8e5Q&feature=email |

This is what CatM posted on CHIL just a bit ago. I am finally home. I have no energy – I can hardly speak, eating is almost impossible and I cannot walk even a few feet. I know these will improve. I think I will get well faster here at home. I am terrified to weigh myself. Believe it or not, I had the pneumonia shot November 2011 – unfortunately, it only covers 23 strains and there many, many more than that. I managed to get 2 of those other bacterial types. Since my immune system is severely impaired, I get infections easily and then cannot fight them. Thanks again for all the wonderful wishes and many prayers. I know they helped a lot! For now, I will probably just lurk. I started typing this at 11:30 am – it is now 1:15 pm. |
