Eagle Guardian Posts: 9,742 Group: Admin Member #21 Joined: August 9, 2007	I am behind cause we went out caching a little before heading out for family dinner BUT at our very last cache at a little pond on the south shore - as we are walking back to the car - I see something fly high up in the sky and yes indeedy it was an osprey - so I stop and ES asks what - he looks up and now we wait Yup - he made his way to the pond and almost right in front of us, he hovered a bit and kersplash - into the water and up he comes with a fish Besides seeing the whole thing - there's a fishing platform across from where we were with several guys fishing - I'm sure they weren't happy to see Mr. Osprey come and scoop up what they've spent all day trying to catch HOWEVER Mr. Osprey did confirm that there's fish in that pond! LOL I had only the P&S so only have a few photos - will process later and post

Eagle Guardian Posts: 9,742 Group: Admin Member #21 Joined: August 9, 2007	and some of you may remember our Travel Bug we released on one of our visits to Catalina April 2007 - his job is to travel from cache to cache - helped by geocachers - to make his way back to NY/home - he made it to Canada and was snowed in one winter - then he disappeared AND then he showed up - made it to Albany - almost home - then headed south - WHAT .....now he's in Florida and on the move - hopefully north to come home! He's travelled 6,500 miles so far
