oh how quickly the week is slipping by ... how come it doesn't go this fast when I have to work another sunny cool morning here in OH - we're packing up - going to visit mom before we hit the road one more time ...heading to Dayton area - the land of the Wright Bros and first flight! hoping to visit a few of their sites that we've not been able to do we'll seehere's a couple of photos from last couple of days - barely had time to download let alone photobucket 'em busy busy but fun at the entrance to the zoo is the eagle display - bothered me a bit because the entrance to the zoo is literally wrapped around this display so for birds who like their privacy and space, they are stuck with every single person walking around their space at least twice each day (and it was busy busy yesterday) but the info plaques around the area were great - didn't say much about the eagles except they were injured and could not be released - one lost it's eye / the other we couldn't tell but I think ES said wing injury ? auto....![]() the 3 polar bears were awesome and very entertaining yesterday |

My daughter Susan, the make-up artist, was just on the Canadian TV Shopping Channel promoting her Pandora make-up collection. She did such a wonderful presentation and I am so proud of her. She will be on 2 more times tonight and once tomorrow. Carole I missed every show yesterday but I went to Susans site and saw the of her with the hostess and the products on the Shopping Channel. Susan looks fabulous I'll try to see her presentation on tonight's show

Deb, you and ES always have the best adventures! Thank you for taking us along. Carole, Susan looks to be having a great time and is such a lovely lady. Congrats to her, and you for being her Mum. Topa, wonderful Smilebox! You're such an inspiration. When Lori was small I bought her all the Maurice Sendak books, they were so wonderful and imaginative. The one I liked the best was Mickey In the Night Kitchen, where he fell out of bed and his clothes into a surreal kitchen where triplet chefs that looked like Oliver Hardy were cooking up magical things. The artwork, in addition to the story, was brilliant. ![]() ![]() |
