I believe it was from some kind of "what if" alternate universe where's he's part of the x-men. it is indeed a pretty lame costume. they could do so much better with deadpool.

I just rented it today, and I have somewhat mixed feelings... simple mode makes the game far too easy. I also don't know why marvel was going on about having such an intense story element in the game this time around... I haven't really seen any. I kinda wish they included some of the other classic characters too, like Juggernaut, Megaman, Venom, etc.

And since then I've been mostly lethargic towards doing anything. I haven't even tried simply mode, I've been through the arcade mode a couple of times, but I still have yet to unlock Taskmaster.

(What is the difference?) I'm starting to get a feel for the game, it definitely plays differently MvC2. It seems like the most noob friendly fighting game Capcom has put out.

Member Posts: 1,172 Group: Member Member #36 Joined: May 26, 2005	I had a play on it the other night at a friends house and it was good fun, just button mashed to learn some combos and i managed to win a couple of times, Viewtiful Joe, Hulk and Deadpool seemed to do okay by me. Shame no Juggernaut or Gambit this time round but there are limited spaces. Trying to remember if Cyclops is in it actually. Don't really care for the character but he seems to focussed on a lot when it comes to the Xmen films.
