Neutral Trade/Travel Roads; Discussion of the creation of neutral trade roads.

Because of the increasing amount of production and shortage of consumers in Tristantia, I am proposing a set of roads designated for trade and travel that aren't subject to any one country's laws as long as the traders/travelers remain on such roads. They could be regulated by a board of the countries of which the road goes through

This needs more brainstorming, but I think it is important for our citizens to have a cheap and simple way to travel and sell/deliver/distribute their products to the people of other (participating) nations.

Tristantia's economy is booming but could pop at any minute of we do not sustain the needs of our economy. Tristantia's Congress approves of this proposal and believes it will improve other nation's economies too.

Possible benefits of such roads:

  • Increased tourism (New stores and hotels might open along the roads)
  • Wider market for your nation's companies
  • Cheaper costs of transportation
  • Communication lines could be built along such roads.

The 'Open Roads Initiative' Has sound Financial grounding but could open nations to issues surrounding illegal trade and immigration.

CaTAO would be interested in discussion around this idea and implementing it should it become a reality.

CaTAO - Currency and Trade Advisory Organisation invites Tristantia to Join CaTAO and put forward their proposal

Thank you for notifying about and inviting me to CaTAO - I accept the invitation.

Would an International Identification accepted and issued by the participating countries with minimal invasion checkpoints be a way to solve the issues mentioned above?
