In a recent meeting between the leaders of Reichtopia they have agreed not to go to war to help the Thementa if war is their course of action, nor will we help defeat their rebels.

If you do not assist in the WARSAW effort if war breaks out, you must at least assist in the production of war materials and supplies. You would still not directly fight CSTO.

The Federated Welsh Republic urges Reichtopia to adhere to the terms of the WARSAW alliance and join us in aiding our Themtean Allies, whether that be through direct or indirect involvement.

Regarding Reichtopia's Non-Involvement

I would like to commend Reichtopia for wisely remaining uninvolved in the Thematan revolution. Sadly, despite the best efforts of leaders and diplomats from several world powers Chairman Stalin is determined to lead his nations and allies into a war against the entirety of the international community. While I still remain hopeful that the Chairman will reconsider his course of action and adhere to the terms and obligations of the Covenant of Nations treaty I would remind Reichtopia that they, too, are a member of the Covenant of Nations. Should Stalin disregard the terms of that Treaty it does not mean that Reichtopia must disregard them as well.

Rokkenjima has long been a willing partner to all nations interested in maintaining peace and order, as well as those with an interest in minimizing the conflict. The Thematan Regime has lost the credibility and faith of both the international community and the Them atan people themselves. Thus, legally, their status as a Warsaw member is seriously questionable. With these facts in mind, pending any decision by the Covenant of Nations and independent, neutral observers, the international intervention is not so much an attack against the Warsaw Alliance; this would also mean that the Warsaw Alliance are pursuing an aggressive war against not only the CSTO, but the Covenant as a whole.

It will be up to the Thematan people to decide if they wish to maintain their membership in the Warsaw Alliance once their freedom has been assured. While I wouldn't imagine a case where the people would maintain links to an alliance which has thrown its support fully behind their oppressors I suppose it can't be ruled out. At this time the facts support a shaky ground to the validity of Chairman Stalin's efforts to pass their thirst for war off as an attack against the alliance. I would urge Reichtopia to uphold the interests of peace while keeping in mind their obligations to the Covenant; it is not a move of cowardice, but one ultimately of honour regarding committments made to the international community.

As long as no Reichtopian soil comes under any risk of being targeted we will supply are allies but Reichtopia will not go into combat.

So I either fight to keep to the terms of my alliance or I break my alliance I'm sure there is a way where I don't have to fight but I can keep to the terms of my alliance.

It was not him who threatened the international community. It was you who accused him of a crime with no proof that the government was involved and threatened him.

A Short Statement from the Empress:

Seeing as the Thematan regime has lost all credibility with most nations and the information we've been presented with concerning atrocities against their own people, along with Thematan activities in Vicarious which were indeed hostile to the CSTO mission there, I have no reason to doubt the word of Liberty in their assessment that the Thematan regime was behind the assassination attempt. That attempt, however, has little bearing on the present situation and the will of the international community on bringing an end to oppression and mass slaughter in Themata. My point still stands, and I shall not back down from it. When we throw in the evidence of Thematan involvement in the coup of Tytor the case against them only becomes stronger.

Even absent the assassination attempt it was not the CSTO which drew its sword first. Your continued support of mass murder, however, is duly noted.

Contributing to the war effort removes neutrality, If your alliance is unwilling to allow you to rule your country as you wish, and avoid war in your nation then maybe you should reconsider your alliance

If Reichtopia were to sell weapons to either side without discrimination that would not violate the terms of neutrality.
