![]() Imperial Dispatch Regarding Princess Euphemia The blessings of Islyna have proven themselves bountiful this month and I am pleased to announce yet another of her blessings upon Rokkenjima. As celebrations of the Imperial wedding occurred at the Elpidia-Rokkenjima Cultural Center a young woman, named Euphemia, came forward and introduced herself as the elder sister of Evanthe Anselmo. Sent to Elpidia at a young age to provide for her a chance at a 'normal' life Euphemia was raised by the Strasberg family, known for their business holdings in Elpidia. After providing a DNA sample to Elpidian authorities she has a 99.9% match with Princess Evanthe and has been officially recognized as her sister, and as an Imperial Princess. She was educated at the Elpidiana University in geopolitical courses and law. Her parents, realizing the threat to her life, sent her to Elpidia in the hopes that she could lead a normal life and, that one day, she would be able to make the decision herself in taking her role in the Imperial Family or continue to lead a normal life in Elpidia. Once the danger passed in Rokkenjima her foster-parents informed her of her parents and she has decided to return to Rokkenjima. "I always felt a connection to the Imperial Rokkenjiman Family," she said at the Cultural Center, "and now I know why. While I have been blessed with a loving family in Elpidia I know now that I have a sister and a cousin in Rokkenjima, as well as a people, who need me and today I answer that call. I have lived as Euphemia Strasberg, and thanks to the wisdom of my parents today I can proudly say I am Euphemia Anselmo. I hereby request the Imperial Government to confirm my identity and re-unite me with the family who gave me a chance at life, and a choice, so many years ago." The Empress and Princess Evanthe have welcomed the news, saying in a joint statement that they "await Euphemia's arrival with open arms and many years of love to make up for." The People of Rokkenjima, doubly blessed on this day, await her return too. Charles Foster Ofdensen Lord High Steward of Rokkenjima |
