Honourable Speaker of the Senate, Upon reading the constitution, I could ascertain three branches of the government. The Executive, The Legislative and the Judiciary. All well and good. However, while the law is enacted by the Grand Chancellor (officially, but executive can be bypassed entirely) there appears to be no provision for enforcement. Typically such matters are left to a State prosecution service, for instance the District Attorney which works closely with the police in order to make sure that the law is applied fairly and the proper procedures are taken in order to fairly charge an individual with an indictment. As I currently understand it, because of lack of provision, the application of law is therefore left to invidual members. Would this assumption be correct? Yours Respectfully, |
