WORKERS UNION OF THEMATA
By Landon Ve Dok

Shortly after the war settled down the Liberal Communist Party stepped forward in their main goal of re-establishing the countries infastructure and economy along with providing free healthcare services with the help of outside aid from mainly CSTO forces. The Liberal Communist have since then been working on re-organization with mainly working on setting up communications across the country. With no formal government yet established the Liberal Communist have laid down the first foundation for the new government which is handing alot of the countries control into worker's unions hands. Specifically that only Unions that as of right now exist in Themata. Known as the Underground Workers Unions of Themata(now just Workers Unions of Themata) existed before the war in secrecy hiding from government prosecution. Since then the W.U.T has been working on setting the policy for foreign aid and has set out goal to re-establish jobs and the education system across the war-torn country. W.U.T has spcifically requested that build materials and other resources not be granted to Themata, they announced this for reasons of keeping Themata from becoming dependent of outside sources, W.U.T wishes in the future that Themata can solely provide for itself without any foreign imports of too many resources.

The Union has also put a heavy emphasize on education. The Union is planning on establishing mobile schooling areas for college, high school and elementary students whi have missed out on their schooling due to the war. Several education centers are currently in the works, five small independent educational centers are already up non-funded by W.U.T but the Union is currently planning on funding these independent centers in the mean time.

Capitalist Exile
By Vivis Edor

Many of the upper classes, specifically the rich and more than 50% of the middle class has made motions to leave the country claiming that they will be prosecuted by the new government fir backing and supporting the former Thematan Capitalist regimes. One of these groups leading the migration attempt from Themata in the Federalist rebels who did a part of the fighting in the war. Federalist leaders are quoted saying, "The new Communist regime will be more corrpted than the last one." and that, "The Liberal Communist have done nothing but have promoted themselves as saviors of Themata while they are indeed the terror and will continue to kill and inhumanely execute former regime supporters."

It is not yet known where the Rich and Middle classes of Themata will go, it is only known that at this point only 76% of the country supports a new Communist regime while the rest says the former government should be revived with more restrains on the capitalist agenda. 4% however which is the rich class of the nation says no restrictions shall be made at all and that banning the class system like the new establishment wishes to do would be a bad idea crippling the countries economy even more along with banning a wage system.

Articles of the Republic?
By General Reports Station

There have been talks going around the country of a new constitution refered to as the Articles of the Republic. These Articles would establish new rules of the land setting the limits for the government. Eileen Lucian, the main leader behind the revolution has come out stating that "As the country is re-organized and the economy is revived a temporary council that consist of anybody in Themata willing to participate shall collaborate on the works of the Articles that will set in place the foundations of the New Themata."

Other News
-Eileen Lucian's approval rating has dropped to 60% from 87% due to her prosecution of Dan Jorone as a war criminal

-Dan Jorone seems to be on the run hiding out among his supporters in Themata.

-W.U.T has an almost full approval rating of 94% among Socialism supporters.

-Unemployment is at more than 50%.

-Federalist rebels(15% of pop) has resigned, no sign of the federalist.

-Local security militias have formed to aid in security.

Jobs
By General News Station

Worker Union of Themata predicted an increase in various productional and distributional jobs in Themata along with an expected climb in the mining and oilfield as many hotspots for resources in the mountain ranges have been "untapped" and will be some time in the furture. They're predictions were correct, many construction, medical, engineering, factory and mechanical jobs have had the larges hike in filled Jobs since 1915 at the economic height of the Thessilian Empire. Healthcare positions, despite the help from fellow neighbors such as the Rokkenjimans, have been in very high demand. Educational positions have also been in high demand. Currently around 16 million middle class Thematans have planned to flee the country, this have had an impact on productivity but not as much as expected. With former middle class Thematans leaving, Workers Union of Themata believe that it would put foward to achieveing a classless equal society and would disputes and increase productivity, equallity, creativity, for all the nation.

Weather
Snow is still very much expected in Seabird and Southern Sunlit, 4 inches.

Heavy showers are expected monday, tuesday for the rest of Themata. Wed is sunny, clear, Thurs, severe thunderstorm nationwide.

Free Market Alliance

Thematan officials such as the Worker's Union have not considered the Free Market Alliance a true threat to the Thematan people but have feared over time that the alliance will grow stronger and not even Rokkenjima or Quinntopia could protect democracy then. Chairman of the National Workers Union, Ranoth Ve Hel stated that, "This formation of the Free Market Alliance only shows the abundance of arrogance that persist in these countries influenced by capitalist agendas and the oppression of them and their own peoples." The Union also went on to show their disgust anti-communist propaganda at what they call "A true sign that the world does not understand Thematan culture, ethics or values and claims that we are barbaric animals and squabble that live in the Great Mountains of our homeland."

Eileen Lucian, stated that "Their arrogance hardly hits the surface of the people's heart, their words are weaker than the great winter, and the winter does nothing to change the spirit of the people."

Unlike fellow socialist countries the Thematan people have stayed calm disregarding the Free Trade Alliance committment to destroy countries such as Themata.

Union Council
The Union Council has been announced by Eileen Lucian and Workers Union of Themata. The temporary council will be put in place to write the Articles of the Republic, form the government and decide whether to embrace Socialistic ways. The council will consist of any Thematan adult women and man willing to participate in the creation of the new Themata. It will also consist of very minor unions who are also allowed to participate. A total of 6 million Thematans have already arrived in the capital ready to participate in council.

Dan Jorone
Jorone has fled Themata with the help of supporters, it is unknown where he went, it is only known his goal: To spread his idealogy of Free Communism and Union Demicracy to the world. Dan has supporters all over the world. Thematan officials warn the world that he may be in your nation.

Article Council Started
The huge council meeting consisting of 10 million Thematan common people who to attend in the making. A total of 4,000 proposals have been brought in for proposed articles. Each willing union member and common(or worker) person will be able to announce proposals and suggest ideas as well as debate a current issue about the Articles. Right now debates are going on in the grand council hall and more Thematans are pouring in to attend. Officials have ordered that some of the convention must take place outside due to it being too overcrowded in the Council Building.

(OOC: CSTO member's delegates are welcomed to come to the convention.)

Thematan Leaders Commend Albanor?
By Jen Bann

Today, Eileen Lucian along with several other Thematan leaders such as Opun Resin came out to once again comment on Albanor's recent hate propaganda towards the people and fellow socialist countries. Opun Resin made comments about the Albanorians propanda saying "Yes, it shows the complete lack of understanding from them about our cause, but if they are truely standing for what they believe in, then I commend them in their fight. But, I will not sieze my own beliefs, because they are mine, I won't sieze their beliefs either."

With Resin publicly commending Albanor for his own reasons experts wonder where this will take relations with fellow communist(or socialist) countries. Eileen Lucian was also stated "I commend then for their efforts, it's just not the right way."

Other communist countries have condemed the Albanorians actions, but the Thematans have commended them.

Flag
By General News Station

It is now day three of the Themata Constitutional Convention where there are now over 18 million common Thematans attending. Debates are still roaring in the halls while some Articles are nearly complete and ready to be added to The Articles of the Republic. One Article, a small one, has been passed though, the new flag of Themata is now reveiled to the public and the rest of the world.

The words are Thesse-sunlit(common language) they say: "Question, then govern yourself. For the people govern themselves."

Workers Union of Themata
W.U.T has covered good ground as far as production goes. The employment rate is higher then it's ever been in the last 50 years in Themata. W.U.T has also officially declared food and water to be free, the method of distribution will be like any other food distribution. Food and water may be in grocery stores as it normally did before. The only difference is that food is now free along with water. W.U.T though has placed a tax on carbonated and suger filled drinks along with items such as ciggarettes and alchohol.

Rise of the Thematan Military

Opun Resin has been working in place of General Jacob Limon who was recently accused for war crimes against the people(next article). Mr.Resin has declared himself Supreme Commander of the armed forces and has vowed to re-establish the modern Thematan military. Hundreds of former rebels have established themselves already as the official military of Themata alongside Opun and are more relunctant to have him as their leader rather than General Limon.

General Resin has begun the re-establishment of the military by heavy recruiting of any man willing to join, he has also advertised the military as a safe haven for any misfits. Opun has also pushed for laws that allow a man to join the military and have his crimes, no matter what, forgiven in the place that they're putting their lives out for their country. There has been much objection to the proposal by officials but Opun continues to push the law saying, "It would give the military string numbers and would benefit civilian life as a whole by removing these criminals from the streets and into the ranks. This will not only disapline them but it is a cheaper alternative to prisons and a systematically better choice." As of now there are a string total of 3,000 soldiers in the current ragtag army of Themata. Opun wants to raise these numbers but also wants to push lower numbers and more elite soldiers. Themata was already known to have the toughest military training in the world with soldiers required to climb up barbed wire fences and daily hikes up steep hill inclines at a running speed and the grueling displined melee combat training, in between these exercises soldiers were required to complete complex math equations in cold snowy winters. Ofcourse, there are some who oppose of making this training program harder, some even propose to base the program off other nations training programs, Opun simply responded saying, "Thematans have forever trained brutally for warfare, it's the culture, and I'll be damned if the world pressures us to change that!"

Beside all the other problene Opun is dealing with his main issue is keeping the Thematan military up to date. "Themata, before the war, was barely beginning a stage of reworking the entire military into one of the most advanced militaries in the world. If the regime would have succeeded then the CSTO might have had little to no chance of beating the old regime with losing thousands as the old regime did." Opun Resin claimed. His main goal is to keep one branch, and that is the National Guard that will help with security and rebuilding operations in Themata. In the furture he plans to integrate the advance technology the old regime was planning to integrate but make training harder to create elite soldiers descrease size of the military to increase affordability.

Constitutional Convention: Day Four

Streets outside the convention in Freedom's Progress

A total of twenty Articles have now been passed in accordance with Labour Unions and commoners. It is now confirmed that Themata is now a Socialist State(no such thing as a communist state) and has adapted full on policies of Eliot Quin Communism as well as a Syndicalistic Government as Labour Unions as the Syndicts. Eileen Lucian, who is attending the convention has publicly stated that she will be running for a head office position in the form of government, with her public announcment on stage she was boo-ed off the stage.

The New Themata is almost established, but it isn't clear horizens yet. There is the federalist, and the Free Market Alliance.

Mourning if Millions

At the end the Thematan war a total of 765,927 Thematans died from war related causes including regime and rebel soldiers who fought in the war. Before the war millions were shoved in concentration camps publicly described as containment of national security risk. Millions died in the camp due to mass execution and mostly winter. A national ceromony will be held on the 30th to remeber the millions who died in the Communist Revolution and the Thematan War.

Celebraties Protest
Many Thematan actors and performers protested today at the Constitutional Convention. Some of the most well known Thematan celebraties, Marlis Mocroe, Dawn Cheriono, Gearge Clouse and Miche Jason testified that Communism, "Will destroy the country" and will "only reward those who do not deserve it, the poor class already feeds off the government teat, they do absolutely nothing by contributing to society, they hold it back from progressing with their laziness and constant want." The Workers Union of Themata met the complaints with explanations and answers to their claims and questions. Chairman of the Union publicly stated that, "Celebraties contribute little to society but entertainment with their dramatic livelyhood on reality T.V, most and almost all television stations will go offline due to the non-corporate policies but media will be far from state controlled. There is a major differences from an artist to a petty celebraty who cries because they simply won't get millions that they don't need. Millions of that could be used to push for a better society, help get the unfortunate on their feet, help or provide for those who are unable, and provide better welfare instead of giving it all to these posh high born actors. These celebraties are not artist, they are reality T.V stars who make a fortune off of staging their lives while people below them hunger for a decent livelyhood." Many other celebraties however consider their work art but claim.to do it for the love of their job, not the money. Maynarous James Keesen, the lead singer of a progressive rock band called Tool, stated publicly, "I do it for the love of music, not money. In our new communist society it's not like I'll lose all what I accomplished, people will still be able to accomplish their goals. They'll be able to have nice things for accomplishing things and working hard. The government won't hand you money for doing nothing, you have to work for it, thats the differance between Thematan communism and 'what the world thinks communism is'. As long as I'm able to continue my art, I don't need millions dollars that I really don't need." Majority of others agree but continue to protest claiming that the rich community works harder, the Union in collaboration publicly stated at the Constitutional Convention, "If the rich work as hard as the lower classes then they must be, working the ranches, sweating in factories, mining in the mines, doing hard physical manual labor. If the lower classes cease to exist, the rich no longer can exist, because they have no one to rule over."

Debates perisist overnight among the Celeb community.

Free Market Alliance
The FMA has been for the most part ignored in Themata. Most citizens are indeed anti-FMA and recently Dan Jorone somehow got out a statement about the alliance, "Oh, the Free Market Alliance? Well, a group of Anti-Capitalistic nations joined in an alliance is fine, be ignorant if you must but, vowing to destroy the new free democratic Thematan regime is a bit, on the edge. It's as if they've forgotten that the former Capitalistic regime was under control by greedy Capitalist dynasties who cared about nothing more than controlling the people for the sake of stability because it increased their revenues. It led to the utter disregard for human life, if these corporations wouldn't have pushed the former government off the edge then they might be in the process of controlling the world economy having the Independent Order at their knees."

The People Turn Anti-Help
After the recent developments many have feared that the CSTO will take control of the convention limiting it to political experts and delegates only and that the convention might move to an undisclosed location. Wilkin Ve Garet, a normal family man, is speaking against these predicted actions of foreign nations, "We the people are in charge of our country! I'm not a delegate or a politician, neither are millions more here, but we want control of our own nation! Assuming that we are not responsible or poltically incline enough to establish our own rules is the ignorance of capitalistic and democratic represenitive nations."
Wilkin Garet has been the leader of the outcry, although he staged no protest he has began the process of organizing the convention for better stability and better direct democratic systems. In this attempt he has organized the massive 17.5 million camp surrounding the city into smaller sections with each having a small council to watch over the camps that work as smaller sub-conventions. Wilkin has also established a live digital feed of each convention's(camps) actions and proposals to other conventions(camps). Wilkin however is oppose to letting the CSTO get involved but commented that, "In order to gain trust and recognition of our legitimacy from the international community we must allow them to overlook our actions, for now."

Wilkin, has ordered large farming plots to be established around the tent cities(conventions) to feed the millions attending. Each convention will hold it's own plot, three major farmers unions have organized and established the farms and have also established a large amount if fieldhand jobs.

The small councils together will form a grand people's council that will collaborate with the centre of the entire convention as whole in the city. The small council however must act on the people's will by vote and direct democracy. The councils soul purpose is to organize the camp cities and answer back to the convention centre by the masses vote. In each convention(camp city, camp) there will be a main proposal and debate stage, each being projected onto screens and being amplified over speakers set around the camps. Attendees would give feedback for now through paper simply writing down yes or no. This system however is being reworked through technology and phone apps to ease the process and make it accessable to the masses attending.

Wilkin has put this idea to work and has publicly stated that he will disegard whatever foreign influences tell him, he plans to continue the convention with 17.5 million common Thematans at his side.

Life in the Camps
Many of the Thematans who are attending the convention are displaced from the war-torn country side and have little to no political affiliation as delegates. Ukan Ve Rosyvin Jon was interviewed on how life was in the camp, she also gave incite to her story.

"I was on my way to Sunlit when the bombs first fell from Rokkenjiman planes. It seems they were trying to attack military only targets but the old regime ordered that military be moved into cities and populated areas. In the attacks, more civilian lives were lost that military assets. I stopped when my car broke down, I seeked refuge with a group of soldiers who eventually were killed in recent airstrikes at the military base I was taken to. After escaping I was found by a small group of federalist rebels. At the time I hadn't aligned myself with any side of the war. My only goal was to reach my parents in Sunlit and assure they were safe. At the time Jerdin was ujder siege and my parents lived there. Last time I talked to them they were being ordered to leave the town immediatly and that was the last I heard from them. So, I tagged along with this group, all men, all looking at me, stalking me. I soon just left in the middle of night from camp we had made in fear of my own well-being. The war eventually ended during my travels and I ended up with a group of college kids who were on their way to the conevention. I went beacause I heard there was plenty if food and water there and that anyone could attend. Now, here I am, life in the camps is actually alot better than normal post-war if you're currently homeless and stuff. The atmosphere here is great, I feel like it's good to call myself a Thematan now. People, set up tents and some have gotten creative with their shelter, you know, the homeless, from the war have made this their home and they love it. Ofcourse they don't have tv or any other basic third world living but, people are more bonded and just alot more involved than I've ever seen in my whole life. Anyway, they're setting up a concert and small food consessions are popping up everywhere. Plus I've never seen so many porta-potties in my life."

Constitutional Convention Fair Anyone?
As mentioned above a concert is in the works, food consessions and small rides such as feris wheels are being donated to contribute to what people are calling the Constitutional Fair. Wilkin Garet says, "This will definately ease alot of the tension and will direct attention away from the federalist riot that recently took place." The concert will consist of mostly rock and heavy metal bands, favorite Thematan bands such as Rage Against the Enemy, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mastodon, Karnivool, Avenged Sevenfold and Baroness.

The fair is expected to take place later today as bands are warming up and the smell of fair food fills the air. Venders though have limited the amount of food given due to the large amount of people and lack of food although most food is foreign import. Thematan security forces under the command of Opun Resin will be ensuring the festivities are untouched by any opposing force.

The fair will be divided in sections due to the insane amount of participants but the concert will take place on one stage.

Food will be harvested and given to consessions to turn into tasty treats for the massive attending crowd. There will be a large amount of fair rides coming in from Tempest(city) and Midland, a total of 176 rides have arrived, this fair though has sprouted a huge amount if potential mechanical jobs to keep up with the condition of the fair rides and the fair in general.

Tempest, Themata Live Music Capital of the World?
The city of Tempest is prestigious for many reasons in the eyes of the world and Themata. The massive mountains beside it, snowboarding and ski resorts almost all year round, active healthy athletic community, dog loving population, rebellious attitude and peacfulness. Infact the city was completely untouched by war and has prospered in it's own world ever since. This week, Tempest was named the live music capital of the world, hosting thousands of concerts every year and being the foundation for new musicians to grow.

The Raised fist
The raised fist was the official logo for Dan Jorone's movement before the war and has seemed to become the official salute around the country. Everywhere are people raising their fist screaming "Liberty!" and "Unification!". The fist has been used as a symbol of hatred and rebellion in the war but is now a symbol of unification and has seemed to sprout national pride from Sunlit to Starry Harbour.

Fall of Corporate CEOs, the wage system and a class based society=bad or good?
Many corporations have closed shop and moved to other countries or simply ran out of buisiness and collapsed. The old Themata was like any other corporate nation, now that corporations are closing down, many industries such as entertainment has become a shell of the former corporate power in Themata. Television stations have become non-existant within Themata's borders. Variety of basic needs or luxury products are down by a massive margin, there is no longer Cleany Toothy Toothpaste and Dandy Toothpaste or Aliensonic Laptops and Aver Laptops, everything is produced at the needs and wants of the people which means. There is a demand for toothpaste, which is being produced by the Unions, but no demand for Laptops or Cyborgs(smartphone brand in Themata). Many services have also decreased drastically such as transportation and internet service which was mostly controlled by corporations. All this has been cared for by the Workers Union of Themata. Entertainment though is in an increasing demand. Production of various construction materials and mining has shot through the roof but during all this work people have demanded entertainment. For that the Fair has taken off and concerts hit all of Themata but people seem to be barely getting use to entertainment without many electronic devices. Life is simple for now, people go to work, get paid for how hard they worked(instead of hourly wage), pay taxes, pay non-union funded bills(such as rent or electric). People have had more time to be active, explore. This combined with the war torn enviroment has encouraged Thematans to various activities of their own for entertainment. Many of the wide spectrum being music, art or sports. Despite this sounding bad to some, many are still oppose to inviting corporations back in Themata.

Keeping Corporate Greed on a Tight Leash

In a public voluuntary poll hosted by Workers Union of Themata on the issue of "should Themata keep some capitalist ties?" the poll came out to an overturning "no". However many Thematan economist like Gasvin Quir say "The Capitalistic system has proven to make a country's economy most prosperous, which in turn can lead to a more ufree society in Civil Rights and Political Freedoms." Many agree, most do agree but are still opposed largely to a Capitalist driven economy. Opun Resin, Military tactition, General, and philosopher combated Gasvin's comments, "Yes, a competitive Capitalist economy has proven to prosper a country, Rokkenjima is a perfect example of a free healthy Capitalist country with a tremendous mixed economy. The problem is, with Themata the corporations gained too much power too early when it was thought corporations were well under control. With this, these Corporations controlled the government through bribes, deception by media, and insersion of favored paid-off politicians. These corporations soon became a threat for the world, when Thematan corporations joined the world market in the late 80s they were pushed away and ignored, this left them in want, many corporations banded together and conspired to take the world economy by force." Opun then went in to explain why Themata is so Anti-Capitalistic, "Themata isn't in favor of Capitalism by any means, the reason: corporations soon ruled iver the state in a totalitarian manner. Soon, concentration camps were built to scare and oppress the public into submission. Unfortunately they were used. Now, we did not kick corporations in general out of the nation, we only disposed of the corporations involved in this inncident. The reason, the true reason, why middle class and corporations are fleeing the country is the fault of one man, that man is Eliot Quin. A true hero in the people'a eyes but a haunted angry man he truly is. Corporations will be invited back into Themata but will be regulated within a centemeter of their lives by the people's labor unions."

Opun's full interview can be read at ThemataDispatch.tr

Misconception of Themata
When Themata tells the international community "I'm Socialist" the international community has a picture of people waiting in long lines to recieve food, everything rationed, people who work little or not at all getting free everything. Well, that isn't the case and Themata kills that stereotype.

Food isn't rationed, food is free but no individual has ti wait in lines to recieve their piece. Food is simply placed in grocery stores as it normally would say in a capitalist society but an individual can take what they need free of charge. It is believed in Thematan society that food and water shouldn't be out of the grasp of anyone, 'no one should feel the pain of hunger' is a common belief.

Healthcare is simply free, state funded, but not state controlled. The state must fund healthcare but cannot control it's distribution, that's all up to Unions.

The state does not control anything at all, the state is there just to serve the needs and wants of the people through the unions. The Unions control all aspects in deep cooperation with eachother.

Wages are set equally across all spectrums, meaning no more classes really. The tricky thing about Themata: There kind of still is classes. People are no longer paid an hourly wage, pay is given based off how much you contributed rather than the typical hourly pay and wage system. In some workplaces the only way to manage work value is by hour but others can be managed by contributed work. How much an individual is payed however depends on the type of work and way you're contributing. Meaning an office worker won't get payed the same as a farmer, a farmer may earn more or less depending on the production value if the individual(how much is contributed). There are low pay limits however and other polcies in place, so workers can't become oppressed under the new system.

Welfare is only provided for those who are not well off and those who work for it. Not anyone can get social welfare. You get social welfare such as healthcare, if you are in the workforce or have a serious disability or a life situation that disables your ability to somehow work.

All this is enacted and will stay enacted, the Articles would just make it law.

Celeb Aressted by Security Forces for Political Sabotage

The world renown Thematan actress Cherry VilDe was arrested today under acussations by Wilken Garet of corruption. Wilken came out publicly saying that Cherry tried to bribe him with a substantial amount of Thematan dollars. Following these accusations she was arrested and will be tried in the Thematan Court of Law when it is once again established. The actor community lashed out in raged though, John Uland, claiming to be a close friend of Cherry publicly stated, "These accusations are just a perfect representation of how corrupt and unmoral the future system will be."

Freedom

The convention has been at an absolute standstill as a three day debate has held the convention to fully question the first issue. Should corporations be allowed to return to Themata? The majority are still fairly opposed but are being convinced that corporations are nessessary for a healthy Themata. As of now it looks like private buisiness will be revived, but will be heavily restricted under the people's will.

Where is Eileen Lucian?

Many Thematans have shown little to no concern for Eileen Lucian turning up missing after the riots that almost dismembered the convention. Investigators however have taken the situation seriously but have turned up completely empty handed with no leads and directions to search for clues. The only thing they have is the Eileen Lucian was staying in a hotel two blocks away from the conventional building when rebels entered the hotel and held up in a final last stand manner. It was then security forces entered the building clearing it out but saw no sign of Eileen. Many have guessed that Federalist Rebels took her but others say it was impossible because the building was surrounded by security forces at all times to protect Lucian. Still, the Thematan public has shown no concern for the issue.

Thrash the F.M.A(Facist Alliance)

A heavy metal concert has been hosted by the infamous Rage Against the Enemy in protest against the Free Market Alliance. The concert is held in Nirfor Stadium and is a controversy arcoss the entire country for it's extremely rambuctious crowd and Rage Against the Enemy's strong straight forward lyrics.

Former Military General, Jacob Limon Unveils the Truth About the Camp Killings

During and before the war, Thematan soldiers rallied any socialist and communist supporters and relocated millions to concentration camps under the excuse of keeping communist terrorism under control. This scared many remaining revolutionaries away from red for the time being while some took up arms in the mountains and skirmished with troops before and during the war. In these camps millions died during the wars due to lack of supplies to sustain them, many were abandon and some troops killed off the remaining prisoners in mass firing squads. The ones lost include men, women and children.

Jacob Limon, the general who led the containment of millions in the camps came out publically saying, "We never got orders from the executive government to contain anybody. I was honestly bribed into doing it. I knew it wasn't good but money seemed to fade over a clear view of sanity. With this I was told to suppress any unfriendly forces, even if that meant armed forces and contain a list of given neighborhoods. I was under the illusion that I was doing some good by eliminating socialist fron sensitive areas. However, when I think back on it, I knew we were just taking helpless individuals, and families." Limon broke down in tears in front of one our reporters and was escorted back to his cell.

With Jacob Limon now in chains some people forgive him for his service in the revoltuion. In the midst of war Limon changed his ways and joined the rebels with full support of 3,000 well armed regime soldiers. His contribution made it easier for CSTO and rebel foces as he constatlntly plugged up supply lines.

Jon Limon

Many hardly remember Jon Limon, the brother of Jacob Limon, both convicted war criminals. Jon Limon was a head councellor and the leading force behind the government corruption.

He has, since the end of the revolution, dissapeared. No information or traces have been found, he may be abroad...

Convention Calms Down

The fair ended two days ago and since then various issues have been covered. Since the end of the fair many Thematans headed home, a total of two million people have left within three days since the fair and many more are just at the convention making the camp their temporary home. It was reported several days ago that 13 million peopoe have just been staying the camps and not really participating but living. A whole community has grown and even Wilken Garet has reckonized the massive tent city as "Constitutional Village". Even though the fair moved out music still booms across the tent city, "Despite the situation these people are happy here." Wilken claims. Lead officials of the convention such as Opun Resin and Wilken Garet have claimed that "a total of 50 Articles are down, but we have a long way to go". Many experts are baffled at the how fast the convention has progressed, Opun Resin was quoted saying, "The convention is moving so fast at this volume because theres only two million that disagree with ten million, thise ten million have differences but the majority agree."

The convention however is still predicted to finish some time next year.

Eileen Lucian: Missing

Investigators are still baffled over the search for Eileen Lucian whi cannot be found. Investigators have come to the fact the she was kidnapped by the federalist faction while rioting was going on. The search continues, the issues is, most Thematans just don't care about Eileen Lucian.

Convention Carries on, but...

Today it was declared by all small councils and the grand conventional council that the country can no longer work without a national government, the country as of now is living basically under anarchy with the National Workers Union is keeping the country glued together. It was made official that the grand council(100 councellors from each sub-convention camp which will about 1500 councellors) will name a temporary president and will form a council comprising of Delegates from Workers Unions. This for now will be the temporary government of Themata until the constituion can be worked out.

The Union Council will have the supreme power, the president will work at the will of the council, the president will assign the nessessary ministers to manage only a select few sectors of the countries, ofcourse at the commands of the Union Council.

Since the start of the constitutional convention a total of 270 labor unions have risen to govern themselves in a democratic way. The economy has become increasingly productive with new policies enforced by the Unions and now for better cooperation and economic interrection they'll unite for the first time in national government. For now Union leaders will choose delegates or go themselves to the capital. In the future, delegates and union leaders(presidents) will be voted in democratically locally, so will issues and policies. For now however, union delegates and unions work non-democratically to increase readiness and to also give time for Unions in the future to prepare for democratic approaches.

Temporary Elections Conclude

After a long morning of cannidite presentation and debate an election was finally hosted for in the convention grand council and a tneporary president has been elected. The temporary president is Opun Resin, even though he has taken up command on oragnizing security forces he was quoted saying, "My most important duty to my people now, is to make sure my people a adequetly cared for." An official union council has now gathered with a total of 87 delegates from participating unions. As of now The council is in meeting with president Resin figuring what the first order of buisiness will be.

Several minister positions have also been assigned by Resin, Isis Vecaris as Minister of Treasury, Larrin Cotts as Minister of Economy, and Timson Ve Gerraurd as Minister of Foreign Affairs. As far as we are informed, those may be the only temporary ministry positions assigned until the Constitution is finshed.

Convention Coming To An End

Union delegate and local government meeting

The convention is coming to an end, today the constitution articles are complete after seven months of a long and large process. The convention itself was organized into a small government(by Wilken Garet) for functionality so that common people instead of delegates and political figures could participate too.

As of now, a grand council meeting consisting of local government and union delegates are meeting in the town hall of Starry Harbour to flush out details and commence the final vote and debate to release the final and official draft of the constitution. When the final draft is released, a national vote will be held via internet, mail or voting offices.

Status of Government:
-Articles 1,2 and 3 have gotten consecetive votes, over 3/4 of council has voted for 1,2 & 3

-Articles 5 & 6 are under heavy deliberation for modification, vote for modification has not yet been held

-Opun and his ministry council is working on promoting small buisiness to improve commercial economy

-Mobi Delson announced he will run for presidential office

Local News

-In light of small buisiness being promoted by officials, old and some new private buisinesses are opening up in Starry Harbour.

-Anti-FMA rally of 300 people gathered in Freedom's Progress

-The tent city surrounding Freedom's Progress has not moved

-Security forces have been running anti-ferdalist terror operations in Freedom Mountains.

Government Update

Mobi Delson at Grand Council meeting

All day and into the evening the Grand Council has come to a complete stand still. A collective of sixty union delegates have taken orders upon from their home unions to bring up the issue of political parties. The council in total number of votes has been divided on whether legalizing or banning political parties. Wilken Ve Garet led the anti-political party half while Mobi Delson led the pro-political party half of the council. There has been constant deliberation and infighting within the council over the issue and neiher side has blinked. It has been agreed on however that if the council can't come to a concensus on the constitutional issue then a national vote may be held which would only hold up the constitutions progress from advancing further. Thematan officials want the constitution enforced as quick as possible due to the belief that the current government could come under political corruption soon if rules aren't set in place. Political corruption is exactly why Mobi Delson is for political parties.

Mobi Delson's trabscript from Grand Council:
Quote:

"Themata was corrupted before due to one side of the government being lobbyed and having too much power. Mostly, having too much power. Political parties help limit the government from becoming too powerful along with a proper constitution, parties are the balancing tool for a large democratic nation. Political parties also show the people several different sides of political and domestic issues, the people can either side or differ themselves from the parties with a set of their own beliefs based on information from these parties. This unfortunately was why the reason the people were so easily swayed by Quinism, because no options were given to them. However political parties must stay out of council as the people must truley holdbthe throne."

Wilken Ve Garet argued exactly the opposite,

Quote:

"I see in no way shape or form political parties would do any good for Themata. Political parties lead to more political corruption and deception of public opinion through the media and party funded newspapers and stations. I see only arrogance and corruption arise from this."

National Domestic News

THE GREAT DEPRESSION

Not an economic depression, but a moral depression from the recent war and the Thematan purge. Literally millions of Thematans died before and during the war plus migration left a Thematan state of only 64 million Thematans instead of it's former 100 million. Millions of families cease to exist while many continue to mourn the extreme loss of life. Religion is actually becoming more and more prevalant in Themata as an effect. Most Thematans before were Atheist, Agnostic or Humanist, but now 1/4 of Thematans have turned to Rosienarty(sorry if I mispelled....the Rokkenjiman religion). Other than religion people have turned to drugs, alchohol and even labor to cope with deep depression. It was recorded last week that more than forty percent of Thematans now use drugs such as heroin, cocaine, and cannibis, alchoholism has also become more common leading to an increased work accident rate. Dr.Kolinger of Moonland University who specializes in psychological behavior in humans stated on Thursday in an interview with Themata News Dispatch that, "We have spawned a generation of drug users and alchoholics due the purge and Thematan War. By the end of the year more than 50% of Thematan youth will be drug users and drinkers."

Orphanages have also overfilled and Thematan officials have begun an effort to push adoption of Thematan children internationally.

Constitution Up For Vote

Direct democracy will be held on whether to allow the constituion or not. If the constitution is approved by the people at national vote then the government layout will be formed and presidential elections will take place. The people will have the choice to look at the constitution on the internet or the new government update channel on television. Both sources will inform the people and will go over the basic principles allowing the people to simply view summaries of each article or the constituion in it's full form. If T.V and internet are not available then paper versions and paper ballots will be collected as well. As of now over 80% of voters have voted for the Constitution. Mail voting is also available if requested

Political Parties

Political parties won over anti-political party advicates in Grand Council on Sunday after the Constitution was officially put up for national voting. Since the vistory, three political parties rose.

Social Liberal Party: 60% approval, mid point between left and central
The Social Liberal Party is headed by Mobi Delson who had already announced that he'll be in the running for president. Social Liberal Party advocates personal liberty while keeping some standards of socialism that don't constrain the people's civil, political and economic freedom. SLP is in support of a mixed economy where the private and public sector work in cooperation together to find common ground. However they do believe that the people's voice has ultimate authority over both sectors thus also advocating Labor Unions and collective democratically controlled political associations to have a say in government. This party also strongly advocates government intervention in social welfare of people claimig that when public funding is put towards welfare sectors society progresses in beneficial ways to the civil and economic prosperity of the people.

Quinnist Party: 30% approval, leans on extreme left
The Quinnist party is headed by Wilken Ve Garet who is a common family man and former workers rights activist, beloved by the common people and known for rejecting political bribes. The Quinnist Party embraces Eliot Quin's communist philosophy, the Quinnist Party advocates the abolishment of Capitalism, abolishment of private party, direct democracy, abolishment of the state, and abolishment of the monetary system. This party wants power to be in the people's hands holding the same common belief as Social Liberals. Although most Quinist don't agree with the abolishment of state most do agree however that the State should control all aspects of the economy if a state does persist. The state however would be controlled through a democratic socialist system.

United Federalist Party:10% approval, leans on mid point of right and central
The Federalist is headed by peaceful protestor Rons Zepter, known for strongly opposing violent suppression of Federalist ideals by armed Federalist rebels. The Federalist party advocates free laizze-faire market economy, abolishment of social welfare, represenative democracy, and a social and economic class system. The Federlaist believe the government should be large and have strong controlling factors in the nation's well being but advocates a free market economy and tolerates zero government invention. The party claims that with total capitalist system would spawn an overall great civil rights and political freedom rating and the party rejects what they claim is the wage slave theory.

Constitution Enacted & People's Union Council Ready[/big]

The constitution won overwhelming support of the people, even Quinnist and Social Liberals seem to agree on all terms. Construction of a government has now begun led by the temporary government.

Starry Harbour: 62% in favor
Whale Coast: 88% in favor
Cote: 83% in favor
Seabird: 93% in favor
Sunlit: 52% in favor
Moonland: 71%

The New Government:

The government will be run in all economic and some social aspects by the People's Unions Council which sits in the Legislative branch and consist of Worker's Union Delegates, Labor Union Delegates, Citizen Council Delegates, and other kinds of collective people groups, organizations or associations. The People's Council holds supreme power in representing the people through these various ways. However, the people's union council main purpose is to bring issues foward to the government and bring up legislation for a direct democratic national vote. With advanced modern technology the people will vote and observe through, internet, T.V or ballot. Government council website's will have live camera feed of current Union Council sessions, giving full text and video information on current issue, debate and discussions. From these websites the people can vote to side with... on a debate, vote on whether to pass a bill or not. Several websites for this sole purpose will be set up to prevent server overloading and to serve as backups at times. In an event of a thousand page legislation, these legislations will be simplified greatly for easy access and judgment through summarizing. There is a limited time for each legislation to be up for debate, which is a total of three days, voting last three days. Voters may choose to vote with political parties, different sides of issues or independently vote on own opinion.

Below the people in the Union Council and below the Union Council is the Presidents Council and Council of Ministers. Presidents council consist of President, Vice President, Head Union Councellor, Vice Union Councellor and advisors. The Council of Ministers consist of all the various ministry positions, the council collectively works at the Union Council's will while advising it at times. Presidents Council does the same.

The government has absolutely no control over the people's lives. Civil Rights and freedom is nearly o anarchy levels. However strict buisiness laws are in place but private enterprise is not illegal. If private buisiness wants to settle in an area it has to be agreed on by the local government and recompense must be paid for any damage. Large private enterprise must abide by the workers law.

Union Council is already formed with over 400 Union Delegates and 200 other delegates. Over 70% in favor of various political parties.

Political Campaign

The presidential campaign has kicked off at the approval of the constitution and it's articles. Various cannidates have risen being backed up by political parties.

Canidate- Party- Political Idealogy

Mobi Delson- Social Liberal Party- Leftist Liberatarian

Opun Resin- Independent- Democratic Socialist

Wilken Ve Garet- Quinnist Party- anarchist communism

Eileen Lucian Still Missing

Eileen Lucian's case is near to being closed as investigators can't find any evidence of who kidnapped her. There is no reason to believe Eileen Lucian is deceased now but TidVe Apron stated last week on Saturday that, "In most cases, even radical ones like this, the missing person does turn up, however they're either traumitized or unfortunately deceased by that time." Eileen's family has shown their grief publically and her father recently told the Backstreet Pravada that "Please, we need all the help we can get" and that "I miss my baby girl". He later broke down crying. Still, the search is on, for Eileen Lucian, a military vet and revolutionary.

Concerns About Sunlit

Posted Image
Ethnic Sunlitians Protest

The population of Sunlit only voted at barely over 50% apporval rating. The majority of the population in Sunlit however didn't vote. Statistics collected showed that Sunlit is in favor of Conservative ideals and factions such as the Federalist. It is actually shown that the majority of the ethnic Sunlitians disagree with fellow socialist Sunlitians like Opun Resin, Eliot Quin, or Dan Jorone. Mobi Delson publically stated that, "Sunlit has been the oil buisiness tycoon mecca of Themata spawning various oil companies. Sunlit is afraid their economic freedom will stolen from them. This is simply not the case, local government and unions work in co-operation with private buisiness to either allow or not allow private buisiness or their land. All private buisiness has to do is follow the set of national and local laws and guidlines. Sunlit, because of this system, may be a massively run Capitalist province while the rest of the country embraced a mix of private and public sectors working together. This will cause a serious imbalance and will lead to the system we wanted to avoid all along. We must draw a line when economic freedom has gone too far, Sunlit might go too far."

The current president Opun Resin agreed openly with his rival in the presidential election. Wilken Ve Garet however was strictly against Sunlit, "A true free society that is free from governance by rulers, that can achieve full equality and peace is a anarcho-communist state. We can't work up the ladder to Quinnism without enforcing these strict anti-buisiness policies."

Mountain Lions

Posted Image

Local governments have been on alert due to the unsteady climb in the Mountain Line population in Starry Harbour, Seabird, Whale Coast and Moonland. Over the past three weeks eight attacks were reported wounding six and killing two. Wildlife park ranger of Chatorive National Wildlife Park Janisop Daym, stated "The hiking trails are becomming unsafe for hiker and bikers alike. We have had to close down the park several times due to overwhelming reports of large groups of Mountain Lions swarming the trails." Ecological Experts reported that the deer population has decreased drastically due to an unknown deadly virus known as Deer Flu, it has caused quite a scare across Themata, even closing down schools and buisiness' where reported sick deer are. However, it is only shown to infect deer. "But this still doesn't explain the hike in mountain lion population" claims Ecologist Professor Niberluke, "If the deer population decreases so will the mountain lion population. The mountain lions are simply migrating to more human areas in order to find food. Ranchers have had a very hard time mataining their cattle and chicken population due to mountian lions butchering the livestock."

Many local governments are urging for the legalization of Lion hunts.

Rebel Squadron

Posted Image

During the Thematan War, a small squadron of A-10 Warhog pilots from the 332nd bomber group rebelled against the regime and sided with the liberal communist rebels. For three weeks of the war the group gave full air support to the rebels. The squadron alone destroyed a total of two hundred ground targets.

Next week, the squadron will host an air show, recieving Ve Darstious Medals after. The most honorable medal a combat pilot can receive.

Spread of Spirituallity

Rosenarty is orginally a Rokkenjiman religion but due to the pyschological depression cause by wartorn Themata many Thematans are turning to several belief systems to deal with the psychologicol and physical pain. While Rosenary is popular in Themata it's still minority of believers. What has risen above Rosenary is Bunamtre. Bunamtre is essentially described by it's followers as a school of though rather than a religion. Bunamtre worships no deity, technically it does however. Benamtre centers around love, kindness and inner thought. The concept of god is though of as the force that keeps everything working. Such as Mundus rotataing, keeping or thoughts going and the spark of intelligents. This can commonly called energy, which is found within you. This is referred to as god, energy or nature by the indivdiual. The religion strobgly encourages love and acceptence. It holds the belief of accpeting and moving on eliminates fear, which fear spawns ignorance, hatred, greed and corruptness. It instead encourages love and self reflection in order to come to peace with yourself and others. To love eachother because we are all the same.

Many scholars and historians have found that this new religion or philosophy originated from the Cote Republic in 1254 which was exterminated due it's beliefs. The old philosophy was re-founded in 1976.

Mobi Delson: Themata Is Broken, I Intend to Fix It

Posted Image

Following his election into office for a five year term by only over fifty percent of Themata. Mobi Delson was interviewed by various independent journalist news stations on his intentions and goals. Mobi Delson put an emphasis on creating a healthy stable mixed economy.

Transcript from Delson's interview with Themata News Gazzette:

Quote:

"The problem with Themata before the revolution was that corporations controlled a huge slice on the economy. Meaning, when Tab's Oil Corporation fellout in 2010, millions lost their jobs sending the economy spiraling out of control. Other corporations put more Thematans out of jobs. Now, while the economy did eventually recover very well without the government getting involved, major corporations still controlled a large chunked of the economy. This hardly left any room for small buisiness, and Themata saw a steep decline in small buisiness survival rate.

This was because many Thematans were spending more than saving, the problem was also that people were saving more than they were spending. The economy was based on consumption and nobody was consuming enough to feed this monster of an economy. Nobody was also saving enough to start more small buisiness.

The key, is to have more small buisiness to creaite more good job oppurtunity. It also assures that the economy won't collapse along with the major corporations that own the majority of it, which they won't. Small buisiness creates good jobs, unlike corporations, while corporations can create an abundance of productive jobs, these jobs are undesirable and short lasting. Also with more small buisiness theres better workers to manager cooperation, thus a better rate of productivity due to a consensus reached on both sides of the spectrum.

An abundance of small buisiness is a good sign, it shows that the economy is going in the right direction. Rather than no small buisiness and only big buisiness.

I only advocate government intervention in keeping a balance in the private sector.

There is really no huge difference in socialism or corporatism/capitalism. It's like this really: Socialism is a system where the government directly owns and manages businesses. Corporatism is a system where businesses are nominally in private hands, but are in fact controlled by the government. In a corporatist state, government officials often act in collusion with their favored business interests to design polices that give those interests a monopoly position, to the detriment of both competitors and consumers.

So, in my opinion, arguing about socialism and capitalism is pointless. It keeps fron true balanced progress."

Mobi Delson was then asked about what he thought of the political stability of Themata

Quote:

"While I hold many Liberal beliefs with a combine of soialist ideals, that does not mean I believe a Social Liberal route is better for the country. What I believe in, is a middle point, just like the economy. With the economy you want a healthy balance, of private and public that work in cooperation with eachother. Not too much socialism, not too much capitalism, a healthy balance between the two in my opinion is the best route for now.

In the political stability of the country, we can't have too many extremes. And that's what we have, too many extremes. We need right political parties, we need left political parties, we need centralist parties. We need all this to create a balance of power within government. We need to do all of this while closely following the constitution without question.

Balance is key, if we can't find balance, then the unbalance with topple us over."

One of the main issues however, that has been talked about the most out of all, is social welfare. Mobi Delson, had strong opinions of social welfare but incorporated his ideal of "healthy balance".

Quote:

"The best thing is to have the people to be able survive without much or no state welfare. While I believe the government should take care of it's people, I believe it should optional, and there should be requirments. However, social welfare can be healthy and excellent if we throw away the social securoty system. Which only dig a hole through the pockets of the entire country.

Small Buisiness v.s Worker Cooperatives

Small buisiness had grown from it's roots of the revolution, but so has Worker-Union Cooperatives. Small buisiness after the revolution was strictly forbidden by the National Union for reasons of maintaining a socialist state, and "reconstruction". Now Themata has gone a more moderate direction, it has been observed that Themata as a whole leans centre-left, but is not fully communist nor is Thematan voters wanting a full communist state(technically, there is no state in communism :p). Many Thematans still want buisness but want big buisiness like corporations kept regulated. Within the private sector however, there is an ongoing battle between Workers Co-ops and Small Buisiness's for workers and profit. Small buisiness's are enraged due to the instability and ongoing battle. Several Unions have teamed up with small buisiness in full support, however the same is being done for Workers Co-ops. This has led to a buisiness war with buisiness' and Workers Co-ops at eachothers throat with intense competition. President Delson commented on the situation saying, "In many ways this is good, we need a competitive but equal economy, however we need to make sure the feud is at the workers will, not managments."

A Hot Summer
While Themata is farily temperate, and even cold at times in the summer. Temperature has risen to 95 to 105° in Sunlit and Cote. Many are baffled by this dramatic increase from the usual summer temps of 70 to 80°. Many envirometalist, say the temperature increase is from Sunlit's huge oilfields.

Timson Ve Gerraunt Arrested

Timson Ve Gerraunt is now the former Minister of Foreign Affairs after being accussed by Opun Resin, the Vice President of attempted political sabatoge of from within the government. Opun Resin came foward presenting evidence of past phone calls, providing audio and transcript of Timson making deals with Armed Federalist Rebels.

Rebel Base Found

Just yesterday a firefight broke out on the steppes of Starry Harbour between security forces and armed federalist rebels. It was reported that foreign security troops were responding to a report of unrest in a local town when a federalist insurgancy group ambushed the troops on their way to the call. Although foreign troops have been slowly moving off of Thematan soil, the native Thematan security forces are of no condition or numbers to deal with the insurgency effectively. After the ambush yesterday around the morning, where no there were no casualties, another ambush hit a Thematan patrol later in the afternoon. Five casualties were reported and no wounded. A total of eleven rebels however were killed in the two hour gunfight.

Formation of the Federal Government

It has been announced that Themata was reclassified from a Socialist Republic to a Federal Democratic Socialist Republic. This name came when the government was officially put into action yesterday. Provinces now act individually from the government which is now called the federal government. The federal governments power is still extremely limited, and the council has been revamped to include an upper house and lower house in a bicameral fashion.

The legislative council shall now be called the People's Assembly, consisting of the Council of Government, and the National Labor Union Delegate Council. Council of Government being the upper house, and NLUD being the lower house. Council of Government are represenatives from each province measured by population. The National Union Council are Worker's Unions that have sent delegates or represenatives to attend council to vow for workers rights on a federal level. This however does not give unions complete supreme authoriy, while they are the main functionallity of the economy on a local and nationa level(working in coop with buisiness in a market type economy).

Along with government changes, Themata's economy is tweaked, Unions are still in control of the economy at the people's will, Unions and buisiness can work in cooperation. Workers coops mainly belong to unions, and corporations are monitored heavily by unions.

Workers rights laws still exist that keep buisinesses from neglecting workers, wage laws are set in place to assure a worker get's paid the real value of his or her work. While Themata's economy is jumping up slowly, many products are produced for the what society needs and what will better the people, rather than making profit. However, the people are not rejected the freedom of a free market.

Free markets are free of restriction, constitutional laws however confine actions in the market but do not restrict the market economy itself, for example: monopolies are naturally not possible due to laws that enforce that corporations must democratically run their buisiness in cooperation with unions and the workers.

Ton of Oil, No cars, Renewable Energy

Sunlit is pumping oil constantly down Themata's throat. While the oil has a main use, which is energy, reserves has increased dramatically due to the decrease in the use of personal transporation, and the increase of public transportation. Products that are made from oil are also at an all time high, but Themata cannot produce as many oil products as fast as oil is coming out of Sunlit. Mobi Delson stated on the issue:

"While we have free trade agreements, oil is hard to trade in this matter since all drilling oil operations and about half of manufacturing is controlled by the public in state. While workers unions can work with workers cooperatatives to sort the issue, private buisiness and cooperatives are not very relevant in the oil industry. We need to specifically trade in oil, for profit, and to simply get rid of it. As for renewable energy, we can drill the oil, and sell crude oil in an international trade, but that doesn't mean we have to use it to power our own cities. Theres enough oil deposits in Sunlit for hundreds of years, however, we can't depend on it to fuel our economy. We have to rely on the small buisiness and workers. As far as mining, coal may be out of the question soon, however there are still plenty of uses for various resouces that come from mining that are eco-friendly."

The Thematan Defense Force

Opun Resin, Vice President and Supreme General of the Army, announced that all branches of military will be organized into the Thematan Defense Force, name change from Thematan Armed Forces. The TDF's main purpose is to simply defend Themata from direct territorial threats. The military shall never be deployed on foreign soil for the purposes of war. The military can be deployed in parts of the world under circumstances of humaitarian aid, but not war or conflict. The only group that should be deployed is the Alpha 0 special group, which is active until certain victory conditions are met(see diplomacy section). Other than that, Themata has zero tolerence for the intervention of world conflicts such as war that cause the sacrifice of human life.

Ethnic Sunlitians Protest Against Racial Discrimination

Sirufhi Jerd, is the leader of the peaceful Sunlitian protest in Sunlit. She has gathered a total of six-hundred anti-socialist Sunlitians to march on the crime city of Midland. Sirufhi is a strong advocate of full Anarcho-Communism, claiming that Quinnism is not true to heart, of what Eliot Quin intended his philosophy to be interpreted. Sirufhi believes that Sunlitians are unified enough to operate under a full communist system, exactly like marxism. He believes however that racial discrimination and pressure from the Thesse have suppressed the Sunlitians ideals.

She gave a speech at downtown Midland yesterday:
Quote:

"In 1996, our people rebelled and protested against the Thesse controlled corporate state, to free ourselves from racial discrimmination and being defined as dumb blatant factory workers. A study, last year came out of Moonland University, that stated specifically: 'Sunlitians have a higher dropout rate than Thesse children in the educational system. In recent mental observation test, Thesse are shown to have a higher literacy rate, and 1 out of 3 Sunlitians don't know how to read. Other Sunlitians have a disability that deters their ethnicity from critical thought and patients, resulting in a bad attitude and a lack of understanding resulting in arrogance and rebellious behavior. Which can be a result of Dan Jorones previous actions in Great Jonothania.'

This report not only shows the arrogance that comes out of this Thesse country, but the lack of compassion from a society that claims to be socialist. I have gotten, no beneifits, no help from the feds, nor my local government. While, I have white Thesse friends who receive benefits, and job offers, and get help from government looking for a job, while I get left in the gutter with the government shoving the middle finger to my face. I fought for an equal, just and democratic socialist Themata, instead me and my people are becoming neglected, more than we were by the former regime. We being outvoted by these racist represenatives in the People's Asswmbly, who claim to be fairly representing the people. Well! Wheres my representation, where the Sunlitian worker representation! How come, most Sunlitians are denied a vote,

For that I say, **** the system, **** Mobi Delson. Let's rise up and reclaim our lands, from the Thesse conquers who enslaved the Sunlitians and killed the Sunlitian king who saved Themata through a harsh winter.

Remember 96, we will not rebel with bombs and arms, we will rebel through means of protest and a revolutionary thought, that carry on for generations, through peaceful means!"

While Jirufhi is an extreme leftist, and a total of one million Sunlitians follow her cause, there is a total of two million Federalist Sunlitians who want to secede from Themata through violent means.

Mobi Delson has yet to comment on the issue.

Invasion of Rokkenjima

Posted Image

Recent documents were uncovered that the former regime of Themata(United Themata Republic), was planning a full scale invasion of Rokkenjima since the early nineties. The documents contained various well constructed battle orders and maps, as well as an acurrate prediction of Rokkenjima force size and Themata. The final draft of the plan was to mainly carry out special ops in Rokkenjima, supposed Rokkenjiman citizens would be Thematan spies in missions of sabatoge and espionage. The navy would be disabled through means of air and land supieriority, since the two nations were so close, land forces could easily travel to land provinces of Rokkenjima under heavy air and armor support using iifast Lightning War tactics(Blitzkrieg).

This invasion ofcourse would take place after Quinntopia was disabled through the Thematan military might.

Many have wondered however, "If, the Thematan Military was so strong, how come Thematan forces were overturned so easily in the Revolutionary Conflict by CSTO forces?". The issue was, Themata's military wasn't the frightening bulk it was supposed to be. Infact, the invasion schedueled for the year 2030. It was planned that Themata would begin empire building in 2014, preparations however were ruined by social media and activist groups like Liberty speaking out to the International community.

If the revolution, never happend, Themata may have been at the top the economic game, as the former nation had the capacity. Opun Resin, was quoted saying, "If the revolution was to fail or never happen, then Themata would be a USR, a corpocracy USR."

Saving Private Talvin

A new independent movie called Saving Private Talvin has come out. The movie has climbed onto the top of Thematan charts mainly due to the lack of anything else to watch in movie-making corporations absences. But also because it has recieved positive rave reviews all around the world.

The movie takes place during the Thematan War, during the battle of Jerdin when a band of wartorn soldiers are sent on a mission to bring home a soldier who unfortunately lost all three of his brothers at Seabird and Sunlit Mountains.

The group ends up staying at Jerdin to fight in the most bloody battle of the war.

The movie however is full of historical inaccuracies, like the main rifle of the Thematan Military at the time was the G60, not the M4. Also, the final blow was carpet bombing by Novincian bombers, the battle in the movie is ended with Novincian bombers dropping an atomic bomb on Jerdin. Even though, WMDs are commonly banned amoung all nations and Themata. Today Jerdin is not riddled with radiation from a nuclear bomb, leaving no evidence of an event like that occurring, despite what conspiracy theorist say. Unfortunately, the movie has become fact to many and Jerdin is being examined for possible traces of nuclear radiation.

Fracking

Fracking is huge in Sunlit, and it's due to the prolonging of province wide oil boom. Once fracking was discovered, accessing oil beneath the surface became easier and abundant. This prolonged the oil boom, and has perhaps done more harm than good. While the government in urging for the trade off of oil with other countries, the federal government's power is limited at the moment and directly intervening in nearly impossible due to the lack of government resources. Little money is also coming out Sunlit despite their overproduction of crude oil. Oil production may have to halt, the goal of Thematan Socialism is to provide for what the people need and want, to tend to the people, rather than the profit of one small class. However, this is becoming impossible as Sunlit seems to be ignoring the Federal Government's wishes.

Besides the problem of exporting oil, fracking has reported to taint various water sources, resevours have small traces of oil that only seem to be getting larger. Minister of the Enviroment, Wisfik Loc, made a statement earlier today on the issue:

Quote:

"The issue in Sunlit shouldn't be taken lightly. Whether it's the wave of high pollution due to massive oilfields or the pollution of local resources through fracking, it needs to stop. Themata only intakes less than quarter of oil that comes from Sunlit, which means that we are producing way too much oil. If was up to me, and the government had the power, I would halt this overproduction.

It does seem, that Sunlit unions, will not back down, as many of them have millions of Sunlitians at their backs. For that, in an event of the unions abusing their power, the government would step in, unfortunately, the people support the pollution of their land. So for that, I cannot get involved."

Wisfik will be headed to Sunlit later this week to discuss terms with the local governments and labor unions.

Elephants?

In 1750, the majority of the elephant population in Sunlit was killed off by poachers. Since then, they have migrated northwest out of the Great Thematan Desert and Plains. Since then, elephants have been very rare to come across in Themata and have been marked, no longer an indigenous species of Themata.

Minister of Wildlife, Jaco Ve Dayne, said "It was reported by the Sunlit Wildlife Association that large herds of elephants have been once again spotted on the plains." and that "Each year, more elephants have arrived during the spring and have stayed throughout the summer. Last summer, fifty were counted, this summer over one-hundred have been reported. The area they're in just happens to be the most cleanest, non-polluted areas in Sunlit."

Bumanism

In 1140 A.D, Dinisk Bumantre, introduced a new philosophy to the world commonly known as today, as Bumanism or Bumantre.

To many it's a philosophy on the way of life, while others it's a religion. Bumantre itself considers all religions in some form to be philosophies. Buman, focuses on the key aspects of knowledge, learning, understanding, nonviolence and love. Bumanist don't consider Bumanism to be a nonotheistic religion, as they believe in God, however the general idea of God as a supreme being is phased out unlike other religions. Bumanist refer to God as a supreme force or energy, the negative and positice energy that vibrates throughout our world giving everything life.

Bumanism is definately a hard concept to grasp, it was well known after his death that Eliot Quin took up some Bumantre philosophy. He was very much against war and encompassed the Buman belief of brotherly love to all sentient beings. The root of this belief goes back to that all living things on Mundus are related. Eliot Quin was often quoted saying, "I love all my brothers and sisters." That also includes nit just humans, but other living beings that persist in our world too.

This extreme way of thought has grown largely on the Thematan community, while it's familiar to many religions like Buddhism, it's orginal text were lost when the Thesse Empire destroyed any remains of religion after the religious purge. Today it is preserved through surviving stories and the idea of the philosophy, which has survived through dialogue for thousands of years.

Economy May Level Out, Or Collapse

The economy seems to be leveling out as Themata has embraced the socialist/communist ideal of producing for the benefit of society and the people, by the needs, wants and demands of the people. Instead of making profit, for the one percent. This ideal has been kept through the public sector, while the private sector works on it's own, although cooperation with unions and public sector are needed as time; like the Sunlit situation.

The economy as of now, is on a steady climb instead of steep. Many however believe the private sector, workers coops and unions will keep Themata's economy working at full speed.

Mobi Delson's small buisiness theory, has seemed to work so far. More and more small buisinesses are forming every week making an increase in good job employment, overall increasing happiness, cooperation and bridging the gap between classes. Wealth classes seem to almost not exist anymore, with Themata now seeming to full of poor middle class. It has even been given the nickname, "A country of rich, with poor edicate".

Themata's Military Future is Bright

Posted Image

The military has opened recruiting all week, to no suprise an abundance of Thematan men and women signed up for enlistment. It was counted that a total of 8,000 enlistees on the first day. The second day, 4,000, the third day was a whopping 12,000. By the eighth day a total of 130,000 enlistors were counted for the defense force. 80,000 estimated for the army, 30,000 for airforce, and 20,000 for navy.

However, Themata is known for having a brutal army boot camp, so with that it is estimated that 5,000 recruits will drop out. And, 10,000 more will be seen unfit for combat during boot camp and will be assigned to army desk jobs or other non physical field positions. The Navy on the otherside will keep all recruits, however most sailors will be inactive due to there practically being no physical navy to embark on, because of this, marines are also land based for know. The airforce will get a large mix of pilots, desk jobs and infantry positions.

Supreme General, Opun Resin has made swift policies on recruiting, one of them is limiting the military size to 300,000, which is estimated to be around 0.5% of the entire population.

Themata still holds a technologically advanced military, with advanced combat systems for airforce pilots, advanced rough terrain tactics, high elevation physical conditioning and the Thematan made combat rifle that is at the top of military standards across the world, the HK G36.

While Themata's military tech seem's very competitive and threatening, the international community will hardly see a Thematan military flag on foreign soil for the purpose of waging war. Instead, the military has vowed that if the military must get involved outside of Themata, it will be in an effort for help. War on foreign soil by law has to be voted on at a national level. This is one of the other national direct vited beside presidential elections and an event of law and amendments demanded by the people.

Ethnic Sunlitian's Are 'Sick' of Racial Discrimination

More studies out of Moonland University on ethnic Sunlitians have been released, backing up the claims made before by previous studies. Previous studies on Sunlitians state that ethnic Thesse's are mentally physically supierior to Sunlitians, who-according to Moonland Studies-are not mentally nor physically prepared for the strain of various activities such as sports or more specifically politics.

Jirufhi Sun-who has changed her last name to 'sun'- is leading peacful protest all over the province of Sunlit. The biggest peaceful demonstration boasting 2,000 ethnic Sunlitians. Jirufhi Sun has come out and publicly critisized the government and local "Thesse controlled" government for their lack of effort towards racial equality. Jirufhi stated, "This government claims to be socialist, and for the people. They claim this while they ignore the voice of a large part of the Thematan people, the Sunlitians! We were told that, we would all be equal, that no capitalistic mentally will gain over us. Well, the Sunlitians are struggling for equality and justice! We are stuggling to have the same oppurtunity as our other Thematan Thesse brothers!"

Jirufhi is calling for an extreme form of Quinnism, she claims that, "Under Quinism, we control our own destiny."

While Jirufhi Sun's followers want peaceful resolution, an ethnic Sunlitian insurgency called "The People of The Sun" have risen up for violent resolution. This group has been proven to dangerous due to their numerous terrorist bombings in Midland. The groups is also reported to be pro-federalist, claiming to fight for the freedom of ethnic Sunlitians. The federal government is urging for the training of the armed forces to deal with the insurgency. However, the president council, calls for a peaceful resolution through dialogue, knowledge and understanding.

Poverty? Not in Themata

Unemployment is at 0.5% and the number of well paying good quality jobs has increased dramatically with the Thematan model type of mixed economy. While in the last two weeks production rates dropped down(this was due to the increase of welfare and new socialist policies), productivity is back up to normal speed, and is even excelling beyond expectations. Thematan economist say that there was a decrease of productivity due to the lack of motivation there is to keep working, since all basic needs products are mostlt free, the capitalist mentallity of "working to survive" is eliminated, thus stunting economic growth and even killing it.

However, Themata has disproven this fact, after the decrease in production and work rates, there was a decrease in the quality of life. While there still was all the basic necessities available, life wasn't as luxurious and neither were prices of luxuries. This realization sparked a sort of work ethic for "a little extra on the side". Now, over 40% of Thematan workers earn more than neighboring countries worker's due to the amount and quality of work that was been put in. This has increased the quality of life greatly. However, Themata still only creates what it needs due to it's worker's input. Taxes are also decided by the taxpayers, now Thematans can choose to give 50% of their tax dollars to a specific area. This has increased spending in education, welfare and commerce.

All this, has made the sight of poverty unheard of in Themata. While it does exsist to some extent, those who are in the poverty line are indicated by those less hard working than others due to the new payment system, where instead of an hourly wage workers earn amounts by how much they contributed and the quality of what they contributed.

Many say Themata is playing with fire, and one slip could do Themata in and lead the collapse of a socialist society and the uprising of a capitalist one.

Heroin, cocaine, cannibis and mental health

Due to the depression, Themata has gone into a full swing of drug use, specifically cocaine and heroin. This spike in drug use is due to the lack of help the mental health system truley provides, as prescription meds and professional help is very thin.

Mental issues have also led to five mass shootings within the week and all have been involved with mental illness. The most disturning fact is that: Thematans from the ages of 16 to 25 are common users of illegal drugs to deal with mental and phsycological issues. The Thematan youth is being drawn as hardcore drug users.

Some, use cannabis as a substitute for prescription pills and illegal drugs. Even though cannabis is illegal, it was shown through secret government documents before the revolution that various corporations such as the health industry corporations had an influence on the illegalization of cannabis. This was due to the fact that cannabis has shown to be a better cure or treatment for various illnesses that prescriptions hardly treated. It was shown that the health industry was in fact making too much profit from prescription meds, it was also uncovered that many meds had negative side affects leading to the use of more prescriptions thus more profit.

Many predict that Themata may have a line of prescription cannabis medecine? Currently, the cannabis using communiy is pushing for the legalization of the drug, and is working on getting 250,000 signitures to propose a legislation to the People's Assembly. Their goal is to base Thematan healthcare around the use of this plant.

Themata's Army Looking For a New Main Battle Rifle
Posted Image

The Thematan Army announced that the search is on for a new battle rifle for the army. Several ideas have been proposed by military experts, however there is one rifle design that captured the eyes of many military, the BR55.

The BR55 is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, mid-to-long range weapon capable of semi-automatic and burst-firing modes.

The weapon is gas-operated with a rotating bolt, therefore the charging handle must be racked before the first round can be fired; this will put a round into the barrel. The charging handle used to chamber the round is located on the left side of the weapon and does not move during operation. Once the first round is fired, the gases from that round—and those to follow—impinge upon a gas piston, which pushes back the bolt carrier, rotating the bolt inside and continuing to chamber rounds until the magazine is empty. Once the magazine is empty, the charging handle can either be pulled back and locked or it can be fully cycled after a fresh magazine has been housed. If it is pulled back and locked, then it must be pushed forward once a fresh magazine is housed to chamber a new round. The magazine release button is located on both sides of the gun with an arrow pointing down toward the housed mag in the stock. The ejection port is located on the right side of the weapon. There is also a fire selector on both sides of the ammo display.

The BR55, having a rifled barrel, is 89.9 cm long and is fitted with a scope for increased accuracy. The scope is mounted on the optics rail. The safety is also located above the handle of the weapon. Also, as the magazine of the rifle is inserted behind the trigger, it is classed as a bullpup rifle.

Each BR55 magazine holds a total of 20 7.62 x 51mm rounds. The rifle is told to have hard hitting firepower, this can at times make recoil a problem since 7.26 x 51mm rounds hit hard on recoil. Measures are currently being taken with the design to reduce the amount recoil, even perhaps the change in ammunition used. While the military is interested in incorporating the rifle, it is unknown whether the army will be able to afford the upgrade anytime soon.

Issue of Drug Abuse

Posted Image

Drug Abuse has been a huge issue for awhile now since the Thematan War. The Federal Government is finally stepping in to deal with the issue. This means that new programs-designed to prevent and recover from drug abuse-are being created under executive order of the President Council. Mobi Delson has pushed for the programs since the revolution, and have until now been rejected by the rest of his council peers.

These government anti-drug organizations will work within schools and will offer adult drug education classes as well. Full details on the programs are not yet released to the public.

Mobi Delson, even though he pushed for something to be done, believes this move will not work.

"People know the hazards of drinking and smoking and they still do it, what makes you think that people would stop abusing drugs like heroin and cocaine just because they know the negative side effects?" Says Mobi during an interview with independent journalist Jasden Ialinous, "It may stop some, but they will still take prescription pills, which causes the same if not worse damage to the body at times. Making these drugs illegal won't do anything, people who did it before will still do it even if it was completely legal, that number would't drop or climb. These programs are a waste of time to integrate into schools and force on the public." Mobi then went on to talk about peaceful solutions.

"Peaceful solutions are out of the question really, we need to find the source of where the people are getting these substances and cut it off with a knife. This unfortunately requires some sort of force. It is none of my business what anybody put's in their body, but this issue has spread too far among the population and is affecting areas in which our law enforcement is not strong enough to deal with and is killing our society slowly."

Many have taken up Mobi's side, however it is not within the government's reach to take full action without some consensus from the People's Assembly or the people themselves. There is also a worry of resources, the Federal Government has a very small room to move in with it's limit's, without provincial government help this fight will be left up to the feds, if approval is given ofcourse.

Provincial Governments

Posted Image

All provinces are finally being given their own individual governments, free from the control of the central government. All provinces are still bonded under the Thematan flag, each province has the ability to build upon it's own rules without intervention from the central federal government.

Many rejoice in this integration of local government power. Opun Resin, Vice President of Themata, said in an interview with Independent Sunlitian News on Thursday night last week that, "This is an excellent move to ensure power remains within the people's hands. We need some sort of dividing line between the central government and the people."

Each province now has their own provincial government, however this agreement was formed under one condition. Province must individually engage in full direct democracy. Meaning any legislation passed on a provincial government level must go through a direct democratic vote from the people who are citizens of those provinces. Voting is optional, and voting cut off times are decided by the provinces themselves. Provincial governments are still required to follow constitutional law along with federal laws passed by the People's Assembly.

The Thematan Mentality: Just Right For Socialism?

Posted Image

A study from Southern Coastal University in Whale Coast has found that Thematan's have the just right outlook and mentality on society for socialism to work.

It was found the Thematan's have a tendency to put more toward to the community rather than their own lives. An interview with a normal working Thematan man proved this study, "These are my people" says Taridon Ephon, "How can I reject my own people, how can I not help my brothers and sisters. When I put work into my community, it not only benefits my life but it benefits my fellow Thematans. I've learned that I don't need a mansion or a stockpile of cash, to be happy, I have everything I need. In this new society, I have a chance to chase what I as an individual want to do while benefiting my community. I no longer have to work my ass off to make ends meet. When I work hard, I get a big pay off and it's hell lot more satisfying and luxurious than fundamentalist capitalism. I get what I work for, and I'm treated equally as a person, not by dollar signs. I have more time to spend with my family and I'm happier than ever. Depsite the war, a Themata flag still blows proudly in the wind above my head."

The overall mood of Themata is a calm nonchallant mentality, there is no competition for jobs, wealth disparity and a consumer "fend for themselves" attitude. There is cooperation, sense of national pride and peace. While the depression is still alive in Themata, it's fading away with this outlook, and Themata is rising above the scourge of war.

There is however negative response to this new Thematan Socialist Model, business owner and entrepenure Woiland Isanounios exclaims that "This model is a self-loathing, impure and amature system of confused hippy socialist kids. Maybe Mobi Delson, Petor Lancrok and Opun Resin should get a college education and study economics, because this is not how the world works! You can't just have a 'happy full life' without working for it and earning YOUR cut of the pie. These liberal hippies have not a single working bone in their body."

Employment has increased greatly, with free trade between worker coops and other nations open, dollar signs are flowing into Themata, but the profit is going toward the nation as a whole. Business owners like Woiland, really don't make as much as a huge profit as they use to. "Managing a business is alot more stressful and challenging than the average employee work." says Woiland, however many workers argue that point, "We are the the ones that make business and the economy running, without the working class these bigwig business capitalist would be out to fe

Many believe this system will collapse, even those who love it. Only a matter of time can tell, if the system rises, or falls.

Ethnic Sunlitians Protest at Midland

Posted Image

Jirufhi Sun-the leader of the peaceful Sunlitian Quinnist/Marxist movement- led a peaceful protest at downtown Midland in the province of Sunlit. The protest lasted several days before the eight-hundred ethnic Sunlitian protestors were agressively chased away by Thesse mobs.

Minister of Culture, Neterias Ve Peec, stated on her visit to Sunlit, "There is a clear divide in the province, you see Ethnic Sunlitian's separate from Thesse's in their own communities. When I was there, there was a clear hatred toward me as I was the "Pale Federal Thesse". I talked with leaders, who wish to go unnamed, and they demand social equality like other Thematans have. While the constitution promotes equality among everyone, no matter what race, beliefs or political preference, it seems that many of the local governments in Sunlit have rejected this rule. As of now the local Sunlit governments are breaking constitutional law, however the Federal Government cannot fix the issue, due to the fact that all the Federal Government can do is say 'No! Stop! Don't do that!'. We've already tried diplomacy, and we get promises but they continue to spit in our face by ignoring their promises." Mrs.Ve Peec has been an advocate for equal rights for all mankind no matter the difference. She was part of the 1985 movement which in the midst of violent revolution, brought racial equality in full swing to Themata.

Sunlit has always been a problem for racial equality, and now it is finally going unnoticed. The only problem standing the way is, how to accomplish racial equality with such limited resources?

Mrs.Peec, the Minister of Culture, is working on organizing with the other Provincial Governments to pressure the Sunlit government. She is also working towards putting together several Sunlitian help organizations, as many ethnic Sunlitians can't afford to leave their livelyhoods from Sunlit into the rest of Themata, these organizations will help ethnic Sunlitians move from Sunlit away from racial discrimination.

Thematan Navy: Frigates & Destroyers
Posted Image
Proposed Destroyer Concept

Posted Image
Iaklo-class Frigate

The Navy has pushed out two brand new Frigates, these Frigates are purely Thematan made. Iaklo is the Thesse word for Risen, meaning to signify the rise of the Thematan navy.

The Iaklo class are a new class of Aegis combat system-equipped air defence frigates entering service with the Thematan. They are being built in the Naval Factory in an undisclosed location, named after the Thesse-sunlit word Iaklo meaning risen in english.

The ships are fitted with Aegis weapons technology allowing them to track hundreds of airborne targets simultaneously as part of its air defence network. The Iaklo class multi-role frigate is one of the first Thematan ships to carry the Aegis Combat System and its associated AN/SPY-1 radar.

The Frigates are classified as guided-missle Frigates, holding heavy anti-ship missle capabilities and specializing in anti-air missle capabilities. The Frigates were designed specifically for defense and easy sea to land access for disaster relief operations. The Iaklo is also capable of a multi-mission role in the navy. Naval commissioner, Jestir Waqin, came with the announcement saying, "This Frigate will serve as the backbone for the Thematan navy."

While the navy birthed new Thematan class frigates, head navy officials with vessel designers have come together to draw up the Themata-class Destroyer. Ofcourse it is in early alpha stages, and it is merely consept, but the navy is fully committed to integrating the destroyer into the two frigate Thematan navy.

As of now the predicted cost of the Themata-class destroyer is up to 16 billion dollars to build and millions to maintain. As of now, only one Themata-class destroyer is on hold for construction sometime in the future.

As of now, five more Iaklo-class Frigates are being constructed for Thematan Navy induction.

Themata's Prosperity is Soaring

While Themata's economic stats are good, while not impressive but exceptional and strong. A steady foundation that seems unbreakable and steadfast. It seems that the people have started living in common.

The system was explained by Mobi Delson in a rally speech supporting equal treatment of Sunlitians, "Our system has worked because, while our political parties aren't ballanced, our economy is balanced, by law. The private sector makes the profit, and is for profit, however, due to the manner Labor Unions constitute economic rules, most of the profit is spread out more evenly among workers, all the small private buisinesses in Themata are still excelling however and creating profit for the economy and the people however with the backbone of worker co-ops or a massive small business sector. Then we have the public sector, which is run and controlled by the government, however, it is run with the Labor Union consensus and preferance. So the government can't really do anything drastic without some democratic consensus from the Assembly due to the powerless limited government, which is the way it should be. Finally, market socialism, we have small buisiness, but mostly worker co-ops thrive well in a free market setting, which is shown on the world stage as Themata has ranked on top of many nations in productivity, we basically control the electronic manufacturing sector and might take advantage of the mining sector competing with the capitalist Novincia, heck, our economy is supierior to some fully capitalist countries."

The depression is a thing of the past, while some problems are cited among small masses, however, maurijuana use has shot through the roof coincidently. As observed, it's seen that Themata is overall happy and pleased, it's also seen that Thematans are very involved with keeping the government in line, hoping that they can keep it from overstepping it's bounderies.

"The people of Themata are not afriad to have a voice against their government, when they don't want or like something the government does, they make it pretty darn clear." Opun Resin says during the Democratic Socialist convention.

Mobi Delson: "There needs to be direct action to the drug issue"

Posted Image

While President Delson has supported the Ethnic Sunlitian movement, he has turned his attention towards the drug problem. There are several new government educational programs to help "deal" with the issue but a survey taken in the last two months have shown that it doesn't seem to have the slightest impact in schools or among the rest of the pop.

Because of this impact, that President Delson accurately predicted, he pushed for the President's Council to pass a proposed legislation down to the Assembly, not much has been said about this legislation. All is known, is that it would use some sort of direct action to deal with drug lords specifically. As of now, Mobi Delson is on a tour around Themata to campaign this new legislation and speak with Union and Provincial officials about it.

3rd Army Corps to Train in Quinntopia

Posted Image
3rd Thematan Army Corps headed to load up into a C-17 Globemaster to Quinntopia

It was organized between Quinntopia and Thematan officials that some Thematan troops will be allowed in Quinntopia to train on flatlands. Opun Resin said, "Our boys need to have some experience on flatlands, Themata is limited on this type of training and our tank force is too advanced to waste in the tiny flat Thematan desert."

The tank force will also be utilizing the flatlands in Quinntopia, as well as artillery, some army air corps and infantry units. Right now a total of 25,000 troops(3rd Army Corps) will be training in Quinntopia and will be the only Thematan Corps combat able for lower elevations. Qualified soldiers(3rd Corps) and a total of 2,000 recruits are going to Quinntopia for a flatlands training, and cycled back into Themata while new recruits train in Quinntopia.

It is scheduled that the 5th Corps may also head to Quinntopia after the 3rd Corps leaves. Various tank comapnies and divisions however will be staying in Quinntopia for routine training on open land.

Uncontrollable Rioting in Midland, Sunlit

Ethnic Sunlitians picked up arms today to participate is extreme rioting at Midland's town centre. The mass rage, from the Ethnic Sunlitian community came after the Provincial Sunlitian courts aquitted four police officers who allegedly beat an Ethnic Sunlitian name Ristian Quin, brother of the notorious revolutionary, Eliot Quin. Ristian, inspired by his brother, led a small peaceful protest along side Sirufhi Sun, a notable leader of the Sunlitian rights movement. Various independent news outlets claim that Midland police attacked the peaceful crowd, while some say the protest turned violent, provoking the police into action.

The Midland police department, stated after the inncident that, "Ristian Quin and his followers, was a threat to the local community and he provoked violent actions to be taken towards police officers, this led to the reactionary force pf the officers, what they were trained to do. There is no evidence or reports that claim Ristian Quin was beat or wounded badly by officers of the law." After the statment, alleged video was released all over social media of the officers beating a wounded Ristian Quin, who was on the ground, covering his face.

This led to outrage in the Ethnic community and wodespread panic across the city of Midland. Many news headlines say, "Midland is buring to the ground." While it is exagerated a bit, only time can tell of Midland will eventually burn to the ground.

Typhoon Headed Straight For Themata

It is expected, that a category 4 typhoon will hit the provinces Cote and Whale Coast. For past years, typhoons have kerely brought rain and high nondamaging winds. This time however, military reserves are put on alert for relief efforts and so are other emergency units around the country. Evacuations have begun, but only 10,000 people have been evacuated from the 26 million populated coast.

Rugby Season Kicks Off & the Thematan Tank Biatholon

Millions across the country rejoice when the government announced they will be hosting a new Rugby season. There will a total of 25 teams from all over Themata to fight for the championship title, sports commentater Fawks Missal, already seems to have his money one particular team, "The teams from Whale Coast like Estars, Lions, Whales and Rivers have been at the top of the league for five years but not one has won a championship. All have gone, but they've always been overturned by Sunlitian teams, who seem to make Rugby their religion. With the situation going on in Sunlit, the Cataphracs need to come out on top this year."

This season is different from any other Rugby season in Themata, before, teams all belonged to the NRL, which claimed to be a "non-profit" organization. The NRL dissolved along with other large corporate buisiness in Themata with the revolution, therefore all provincial governements, have come together to fund a new league, just in time for Rugby season.

Besides Rugby, military officials are fangirling over the new Thematan sport called, "Tank Biatholon". It's similar to a "human biatholon" except the military's version is being done with the main battle tank of the Thematan army, the Leopard 2 A7. The tanks will go through an obstacle courses, these courses will test the responsivness and quickness of the tanks and their crews. The winners will recieve a pay grade bonus and weekly leave.

Transportation

For a decade, the vast majority of Themata's roads were privately owned and tolled at a high price for travelers. This played a major role when Themata was converted into a full corpotacracy.

Today, the government is taking grip of the transportation system and announced that montrail going from various cities will be built in northeastern Thematan as well as highspeed train rails between all major Thematan cities. Transportation Minister Malard Ecoy stated publicly, "This is a major step foward to connect Themata more, making it easier for Thematans to travel to various parts of the country instead of the deadly highways in the mountains. This will also help the enviroment greatly, pollution has been shown to drop since public transportation has become the norm. We want ti expand that, these rails will allow for better economic oppurtunity and can promote more equality across the board."

Midland Burnings is Over

Ristian Quin was broken out of Midland City Jail yesterday, birthing the end of the riots but hostility against ethnic Sunlitians is still at an all time high.

These racial tensions are only seen in Sunlit however, anywhere else in the nation racism is spread extremely thin, however it seems to be widely acceptable in Sunlit. Many trace these hostilities back during the Thessilian Empire expansion age, when the Thesse eliminated other cultures in Themata during the rise of power until the Empire came across Sunlit. The ethnic Sunlitians fought hard to reserve their culture, but eventually lost he onslaught of wars. The Sunlitians still thrived however, integrating into the empire and even fighting against he ancient Ardians to protect Thessilian and eventually overthrowing Thesse rule and conquering all of Themata.

Today, Sunlitians are a minority struggling for equal rights within their own province. As the Federal Government pushes the Sunlit provincial government to enforce social equality among all, the neoconservative pro-capitalist provincial government seems to show, more and more resistance towards the government, even at times threatening to depart from the nation and thrive as an independent state.

Petor Lancrok, Minister of Foreign Affairs, got back from Sunlit to negotiate with provincial officials but Petor has been very unenthuseastic about the situation stating that, "They're hard headed neoconservatives who are strictly anti-socialist. This is due to the pro-capitalist federlaist insurgency having a grasp on the regional government." To add on to the situation, Sunlit has rejected to rail transportation idea and have announced that, "We, the Sunlit provincial council have decided to not take part in any socialist activities. We are now running at a laisse farre free market economy and we reject the idea of a mixed economy. We will use brute military force if the Federal Government does not release it's control of various economic aspects."

There has been a strong outcry acorss the nation for the Federal Government to take some sort of action, "The last thing we want is a civil war, although if conflict does arrise it will be merely a civil war but an insurgency extermination" says Mobi Delson. The Federal Government announced that during a vote at the People's Assembly the request made by the Sunlit government was denied. Thus, the national government will be withholding all assets it currently controls and will not release them. In response, the Sunlitian government demanded that the request go through a national vote.

More info still pending, Themata will keep the world updated on the situation.

People's Assembly Votes Yes to Medical Maurijuana

It seems that medical maurijuana is being heavily inducted into the Thematan healthcare system as prescriptions run thin. It's also a common belief in Themata that prescription drugs are unnatural and have more negative effects than positive effects. Since the legalization crime has decreased due to maurijuana drug trafficking "not being a HUGE deal".

Other than medical maurijuana, it is also used for recreational purposes.

Drug Crime Unit

The drug crime unit was created to combat heroine and cocaine trafficking in Themata. The unit will act under command of the President Council. Details have not been released, but it is known that the anti-drug unit is active and currently undergoing drug bust opertaions.

Eileen Lucian Found Alive

During a raid by Thematan special forces on a insurgent hidout, Eileen Lucian was reveiled to be alive when found by special forces troops. She was found isolated in a dark small room bound to a pipe by handcuffs. It was reported that she had been badly beaten with lacerations across her arms.

Details are not fully known, all that is known is that Eileen Lucian is going through a full recovery, no talks have yet been released regarding a specific political path, like she had been planning in the past before her kidnapping.

What was also found during the raid was a significant federalist leader, only the name Willerd was told to investigators. It is told that "Willerd" has been responsible for several successful insurgent operations, one of them including kidnapping Eileen Lucian. The purpose for keeping her was unknown, most likely it was to hold her ransom, the ransom request however, was not made available to any government offcials or other sources.

Sunlit Province

Along with ethnic sunlitian protest across the province, there has been a 50% spike in pro-capitalist federal insurgency activity. Most of this activiy has been reported to be near important government owned economic assets such as oilfields and mines. The Sunlitian government said force will be used to take varuius industries away from the the federal government by force. They still have yet to commence these terms they've promised.

Due to this, Thematan troops have deployed in the Sunlitian province to guard various resources, mostly oil pipelines and fields. The Sunlit government claims that the pro-capitalist federalist insurgence, are the Sunlit liberation army. So far however, the supposed libertaion army has made no move against Thematan Armed forces, which the Thematan armed forces outnumber them 10 to 1.

More frequent information will be given as the situation progresses

Mysterious Foreign Support for Federalist Rebels

It has been observed that Rokkenjiman Republican ideals have slipped into pro-capitalist federal insurgent hands, seeming to further make Thematan "federalist" appear more conservative than ever. Deep investigation has gone into the ordeal, and so far very thin connections have been found. However, recent raids on secret federalist ammo depots found that non-Thematan weapons have been in major use. It is suggested that these weapons are familiar to Rokkenjiman engineering but could come from other foreign resources, the Thematan Federal Investigation Sector(T.F.I.S), released a current public report of the investigation, "We have found no significant evidence to come to the conclusion that Rokkenjiman rebel forces like the Republicans have formed any kind of bond with Thematan pro-capitalist rebels, commonly known as federalist. However, it is very evident that foreign forces have influenced the federalist greatly, in providing equipment and ideals."

Ethnic Sunlitians March on the Capital

If the Federal Government didn't have enough pressure already, ethnic Sunlitians have gathered in the millions to march on Freedom's Progress, this move was commanded by Jirufhi Sun, the leader of the Sunlitian movement. It is a tactic used by the Sunlitian community in hopes of promoting federal enforcement upon the provincial government of Sunlit. It is also promoting the complete re-writing of the Sunlit government to "purge it of corruption" as Jirufhi Sun would say.

Ristian Quin, was also lead more peaceful protest, adopting his brother's theory of Communism commonly known as Quinnism.

(Just for reference if people are confused, Quinism opposes all authoritarian aspects of communism and promotes direct democracy and labor union power over private buisiness. Instead of being a theory that can be morphed to fit different systems, Quinnism is an actual doctrine of government. The Thematan government is close to Quinism but does not fully integrate it.)

Bomb Explosion in Littlebrook Renders Opun Resin Injured

Opun Resin, vice president and former army general, was reported to be critically ill from the explosion while staying in Dartfordia to attend the Universal Human Rights Conference alongside minister of foreign affairs, Petor Lancrok. Petor, came out the explosion unharmed as he was not on site at the time of the explosion. Opun Resin however, was in close proximity of the blast, almost becomming a seventh loss to this suspected terrorist attack. Opun is currently in an unstable condition, and has been transported back to Themata with haste. He undergoing heavy treatment, it is feared that Opun Resin has critical head trauma that could perhaps send him into a coma. Petor Lancrok, was shaken by the news but stated, "I will still be attending the conference". Petor has been at the hospital, in concern for Opun ever since the explosion.

Sunlit Problems

Along with the explosion, the provincial government of Sunlit still refuses to cooperate with the rest of the nation. Now, the People's Assembly has ordered warrants and are accusing Sunlitian officials of abusing their power and neglecting the human rights standards of the constitution. Still, the provincial government is acting as if it's an independent state, "That is far from fact" Mobi Delson says, "The provincial government is being lobbyed and bought by federalist rebels, which are a very small minority in Themata by the way, only holding 10 seats in the Assembly. Our troops are currently fighting off the insurgents from the nations resources, eventhough this is against the provincial government's wishes, the provincial government has not conducted, and refuses to conduct the Thematan direct democratic process. Meaning that on a provincial and local level of government, full and partial direct democracy is a must, unlike the national level, when we vote on opposed legislation. So far, this has not developed into anything more than dealing with petty skirmishes with insurgents and daily rejections from the provincial government. We are working vigarously to solve this issue, however I'm afraid more direct action will someday be more reasonable than diplomacy."

With this final statement, many in the government are starting to doubt Mobi's administration's confidence in dire situations such as this and the Littlebrook explosion.

In other news about the Sunlit situation, the ethnic Sunlitian insurgency group called, "The People of the Sun", have began attempts in engaging in diplomacy with the federal government, in order to take down a seemingly common enemy, the Sunlitian government. Ristian Quin, has been the main component behind this encouragment of diplomacy. "At all cost, we must avoid a conflcit between our Thematan brothers and sisters, as a Thematan civil war would further hinder the progress of the people as a whole. Civil war, is far from being truth, but if we refuse to sieze this juggernaut of a government, it will happen." Ristian Quin says to the News Gazzette, "I want equality for all my ethnic Sunlitians, here in OUR home province that has been our land for thousands of years. My brother, was not an ethnic Sunlitian, he was adopted. But, Eliot Quin would fight thick and thin for the rights and equality of all. I believe Mobi Delson and other leaders hold this same dream, but are being rejected by the vary freedom granted to the corrupt, puppet provincial government of Sunlit."

Medical Care Going Herbal & Genetically Modified Foods Phased Out

The medical system is turning toward a more herbal method of treatment. Embracing the ideal of natural and organic treatment. Minister of Health, Laurisia Roplionan, explained the new system to Themata News Gazzette in an interview, "The new system directs it's attention to creating a healthier lifestyle and ensuring that Thematans stay healthy, instead of prescriptions and pills, we will begin the induction of essential vitamins and herbs that improve and help health. While we do this, we will create things like exercise and healthy eating programs, most diseases and health problems are infact found in our own lifestyle we live." Laurisia also stated that pills and such prescriptions will be used in necessary cases.

It also seems that farming and food distribution unions are working together to phase out GMO foods as the "Healthy Living" bill passed through the Assembly. Many farmers have halted the use of potentially harmful and harmful genetically modified crops, along with this move, fresher foods such as produce are being used more so.

It was reported that 80% of Thematan grocery stores mainly contain fresh produce and meats, while pricessed packaged and freezer isles grow small, and out of popularity.

Public Transportation

Posted Image

A census report held by the Ministry of Transportation, revieled that over 85% of Thematan now use the public transportation system. Buses, metro rails, trains, subways and other means of public transportation have become the norm for most Thematans. The overall progress of the Thematan economy and infustructure has been bolstered heavily by this statistic.

The next move is to create a nationwide air and train transportation system, which is expected to go into effect this summer.

Government Tries Diplomacy Once Again With Sunlit

Video from independent news site

A small light humvee patrol get's heavily ambushed by insurgents. Despite the ongoing fight, the government refuses to take full scale military action to overthrow Sunlit. (pretend they're carrying G36s :p)

With pressure mounting, the federal government has little room to move around in the Sunlit issue. The situation currently looks like this:

-Provincial government of Sunlit has abused constitutional laws.
-Sunlit has abused the rights of ethnic Sunlitians.
-Sunlit has come under influence through the way of bribes and deciet by free market(or capitalist) federalist rebels.
-Sunlit has abandon the Thematan economic model, demanding a total free market.
-Sunlit has arrested peaceful protesting Sunlitian rights activist without good reason or proof of accusations.
-Sunlit has refused the democratic process to be practiced by ethnic Sunlitians and is now refusing every citizen the right.
-Sunlit has backed up insurgent attacks of federal military outpost and forces guarding national resources of the entire nation.
-Sunlit is accepting lones and bribe from mysterious outside sources and sources within Themata.

Despite all these offenses by the Sunlit government, many wish to offer Sunlit independence or even regional autonomy, this has thrust the federal government into diplomacy once more with Sunlit. However, many also believe that giving these terms to Sunlit would be abandonment to the ethnic Sunlitians, and would give free market federalist rebels more room and financial power, more room to attack Themata and neighboring countries, politically and violently. The terroist group has already shown their disdain for neighboring countries, ever since the Thematan war. It is also suspected the Rokkenjiman republicans are perhaps, cooperating with Thematan free market rebels, planning attacks, giving loans and weapons. Mobi Delson, before he left for the Human Rights Conference in Dartfordia, made a quick statement, "While regional autonomy is on the table for me, the debate starts with every offense the Sunlitian government has committed, and how integrated they are with free market federalist rebels. Regional autonomy, could be a huge mistake and could very well cause trouble not only for Themata, but Eastern Ardia and Western Albion as well. These are only theories, but we can't risk making the wrong move, because we only have one move to make."

While Mobi Delson's opinion is unclear and "neutral", other politicians like Wilken Ve Garet, leader of the Quinnist Party, would strongly disagree with regional autonomy, "This not only shows the government's inability to stand up to injustices, but the Thematan people as a WHOLE!" Wilken shouts, "The reason millions of Thematans were killed, by the supposed 'democratic' government by the score for thirty years before the revolution. When we stood up for ourselves against the oppressive bourgesie, we ceased the killing and took our lives back from the corporate police state. If we do not, stand up for justice, liberty and freedom this time, RIGHT NOW! Then more suffering will persist over decades, as it happend before the revolution! We must act now, with direct immediate action! We need to dispose of the provincial government and the rebels, before they both do the entire country in."

Others, like Petor Lancrok, disagree with Wilken, "Regional autonomy, along with diplomatic reforms could prove more effective and less costly than overthrowing the entire Sunlitian government. Our people were not killed by the millions millions because of their inability and refusal to result to violence, but because of the shear might of the government outpowered the people's voice. They simply had more power, and scared the people, terrorized the people and brainwashed the people. Blaming the people for this situation doesn't make sense."

As of now, diplomacy is given a chance once more...

Clean Energy

The government has planned the construction of offshore windmills, these windmills will float over the water above the sea floor. It is not yet known what model or type the windmills will be, but it is confirmed that the building of the windmills will commence in the Rokkenjiman sea, in Thematan waters.

Also, steps are being taken to downsize the coal industry, as new ways of energy are being found and tested, such as water windmills. The oil industry will also suffer, petrolium will most likely be used mainly in military and parts of the transportation sector. Nuclear energy is also being invested in, currently the government employed over 40 nuclear power plants all over the country. While nuclear power is being enacted, Starry Harbour will be receiving an experimental hydropower plant, which is expected to.one day work alongside offshore water windmills.

Military to Increase in Size

Posted Image
Thematan naval infantry, aka marines

Along with a slight population gain, the military has made a large gain. After the graduation of 40,000 now army personel(15,000 combat), 8,000 combat naval personel and 40,000 airforce personel in the last five months, the military has spiked in size, now having up to 500,000 combat personel. In total, counting all non-combat personel, the military as a whole total's up to 800,000 personnel.(have to update factbook on this info)

However, much of the "combat" personnel are still receiving training, but have gone through basic training. They're called "combat" personnel due to most of them already being comabt ready if need be. Many are still under specialization training(MOS). Right now, small amounts of trained troops - who most are Thematan War veterans - are in Sunlit, acting as security and patrol to protect natural resources. These troops are expected to be rotated out this coming winter if the Sunlit issue persist. It is expected that, the Sunlitian issue can't continue that far...

Diplomacy Fails, Mobi's Administration Looks at Other Diplomatic Terms

Posted Image
Petor Lancrok addressing the Sunlit peace conference

New terms are being thought up by the government, after fhe Sunlit diplomacy ended in tatters, with Sunlit government officials walking out on the meeting. The government is still discussing terms however, while regional autonomy is on the table, diplomatic reforms are still being discussed to present to Sunlit. The current terms are as follows:(summarized)

-Sunlit receives full regional autonomy.
-Sunlit can promote itself as 'independent', but restrictions are made for any actions on the international stage.
-Sunlit cannot, declare wars or alliances with other independent states or world powers.
-Economic cooperation between Themata and Sunlit
-Military defense cooperation, alliance.
-Sunlit governs itself independently, politically and economically.
-Democratic reforms such as enforcing equal rights and opportunity for ALL people of Sunlit.

These terms, are expected to be agreed with. Still, free market federalist rebels are still within Sunlit, influencing the government heavily. Ethnic Sunlitian rights will still be fought hard for by Themata, new democratic reforms in the agreement will enforce these rights. It will be a step foward in rights for a minority of Thematan people. The democratic reforms also contain agreements for Sunlit to hold the democratic process. This allows, Sunlit to operate the way the Thematan government operates, instead of provincial direct democracy, Sunlit will be able to only hold partial-direct democracy under the same circumstances of Themata.

Many have called Mobi Delson "weak" and have critisized him heavily for this decision making. Critics like the young Wilken Ve Garet have made his opinion clear, holding protest and speaking to many newsletters about the siutation. Other Quinnist, like Wilken, agree with his opinion. Saying thaf, "This is giving the rebels who want to destroy this country, and enforce fundelmental capitalist views on people who do not want it."

The Sunlit Treaty

After days of deliberation, an agreement between Sunlit and Themata has been met. Terms of regional autonomy and perhaps a bit more than regional autonomy have been met. Petor Lancrok was head of the conference, and stated that, "Terms like these are necessary to end a potential prolonged and bloody conflict with our own province. This treaty is one of the many examples of what Themata stands for, peace and sovereignty."

Wilken Ve Garet at Sunlit peace conference

Wilken Ve Garet, minister of the economy, stormed out upon hearing the decision. The press, was only able to get a few words out Wilken such as, "We'll regret this decision in the future, we just opened the door for a terrorist mecca at our back door."

The Sunlit Autonomy Treaty has the following terms:
(summarized)

(1)Sunlit will become sovereign in it's own self-governance.
(2)Sunlit cannot, declare wars or enter conflicts without consent and agreement of Themata.
(3)Federal armed forces will be reduced in Sunlit.
(4)Thematan federal armed forces military bases will remain a part of Themata.
(5)Military has tarvel access rights in Sunlit.
(6)Military may not take action against Sunlit without consent.
(7)Sunlit and Themata will have an economic cooperative.
(8)Sunlit may govern it's economy how it pleases.
(9)Sunlit may create defence forces, these forces however will still belong to the Thematan state.
(10)Sunlit and Themata will enagage in free trade.
(11)Criminal extradition
(12)Democratic reforms, the Sunlitian state must engage in a partial direct democratic process.
(13)Ethnic Sunlitian will recieve equal rights within Sunlit, if not then the treaty is disregarded and Sunlit will be annexed as a province once more.

Any of these terms broken, breaks the independence of Sunlit and may even lead to an overturn of the Sunlitian government. It seems history is perhaps repeatinf itself, during the days of the Thesse Empire, Sunlit revolted and ethnic Sunlitians took over the province. The Thessilian Empire granted Sunlit independence, however other entities within Sunlit saw different and siezed the opportunity to conquer all of Themata. Uniting all of Themata into the United Sunlit Kingdom....

Opun Resin

Opun Resin, was officially pronounced deceased this morning after his family decided to pull the plug on life support. The entire nation mourns this former revolutionary, who devouted the majority of his life fighting for freedom and true democracy for the Thematan people.

Opun Resin, in his early life was an activist for basic human rights in Themata, this is where he met his lifelong comrade Mobi Delson. When violent revolution sparked with the Cote Killings of 1970, Opun Resin became a main leader in the three year revolution, which ended in the founding of the Thematan Republic, Sunlit Republic and Seabird Republic. As all the republics were warring over territory, Opun joined the military and fought against the Seabird republic in the Great Republic War. From there, he gained substantial military experience and moved up through the ranks as a Colonel. However, in Eliot Quin's revolution of 1988 he once again joined a revolution for civil rights once more against an oppressive authortarian state.

Later in his life, at an old age he help coordinate communist militants in the Thematan War and after, became the vice president and minister of the armed forces. Being a leading member of the government and a revolutionary face of the people. Today, he resigns his duty to the people and embarks on a different journey into the unknown. A nation mourns the loss of a hero, but also smiles at the grand memory of him left behind.
