And coming from the Senator that was appointed BY the Grand Chancellor ![]() On a serious note, the reasoning behind the nomination list is that to use another system (such as an open ballot) would require another change to the Constitution. |

The Expansion Act states explicitly the procedure that is to be used with the Senate expansion, passing this Act first won't matter. | |

I disagree. If we were to pass this act first then the Expansion Act would be in contravention of this act. This act requires the Grand Chancellor to hold elections for vacant seats. The Expansion Act, if passed afterwards, would create two vacant seats. Logically this act would require the GC to hold elections for those seats, while the Expansion act would require him to appoint the members. | |
